Philipponzaghi:Loses support from who exactly? .. losing support from hungry characterless political jobbers and thugs? |
And now the same imbeciles are telling Nigerians that it's unpatriotic to protest. |
APC leaders, stalwarts, activists, sycophants and thugs are highly experienced in protests, which places them in a really advantageous position to neutralise any such uprising. The APC anti-protest strategy is simple: Day 1: Mobilise some hungry youths (like our resident Helinues) on the promise of N2000 to stage counter protest. Day 2: Unleash thugs on the streets to attack peaceful protesters. Once the clash begins, send the military and police to arrest and shoot peaceful protesters while carefully avoiding their paid thugs who started the mayhem. Day 3: Aggressively send out propaganda to the streets claiming the protest is an Igbo protest (some top officials are already on this path). This approach is especially potent as the Nigerian Igbophobia happens to be a greater force than even hunger and insecurity combined. Once the above happens, the protest dies a natural death; not because it's an especially smart approach, but rather due to the prevalence of illiteracy and poverty in the land. |
Goodvibes007:It's totally true that the protest has been hijacked and is now political. But hijacked by who exactly? I fear that from Day 1 it would be hijacked by APC thugs and govt agents, just like the EndSARS protest which were 100% peaceful and carnival-like for 3 full weeks until APC counter-protest thugs and soldiers were sent into the streets to attack peaceful Nigerians. About the protest being politicised, despite the excruciating hunger and hardship in the land, the fact that ONLY Tinubu and APC supporters, sycophants and thugs are vehemently vocal against any protests already speaks volumes on how the protests have been politicised by APC. |
adamusuleiman3:Lol... Isiguzo Faction of Ohaneze again! A fake faction of ohaneze headed by a Tinubu ass licking sycophantic APC member called Isiguzo. Sometimes these headlines need to be made clearer. |
Atiku openly supports protest with his full chest, but watchout as some cretins will still blame OBI. |
The rate at which govt officials and supporters keep emphasising the need for peaceful protests, one can already foretell that the protest will get violent because the same APC vermins claiming to call for peaceful protest will be the ones to send their thugs into the streets on Day 2 to scatter things. These APC guys are highly experienced in Nigerian protests; they know exactly how to neutralise a protest even before it starts. Looking back at the last major protest in Nigeria (End SARS), the processions were largely peaceful and organised for 3 weeks until the govt chose to send out soldiers to shoot at peaceful protesters, after which they sent out counter thugs to attack protesters. Another sure way the APC knows to tackle the protest is simply to label it an Igbo protest; once that's done, the protest is dead in the north and large parts of the south west. |
haslaw:I'm sorry but what exactly is the point in all these your directionless rantings and what does it have to do with Dangote refinery which we're talking about? OBI has passed a simple message on the imperativeness of Dangote refinery working successfully, especially given it potential impact on Nigeria's currently battered economy. The point made is clear to all intelligent people but obviously it cant be clear to everyone on the streets. So feel free to take your useless political, tribal, religious, ipob and other pointless rantins to your closest motor park where you will gladly find like minds willing to engage you. |
haslaw:Just imagine this one trying so hard to reduce this to a tribal / political issue. Spits! Anyone with the slightest whiff of patriotism and economic sense understands that the success of Dangote refinery would greatly help Nigeria's economy. OBI is clearly not the unpatriotic greedy political charlatan that you try to portray him as. Obi has always been a supporter of the Dangote refinery project even before his presidential declaration. |
jjflyj11:Dangote's money belongs to Dangote and it's his sole prerogative to spend it however he pleases. He doesnt owe anyone any kobo. That being said, Dangote's refinery success isnt about the man Dangote; it's rather about Nigeria's economic liberation. Even if Dangote chooses to be greedy and sells fuel for N2000 and becomes a dollar trillionaire, the success of that refinery would still have monumental positive impact on Nigeria's economy. In otherwords, that refinery working would positively impact the life of every Nigerian.l, not just Dangote. |
Dapromzy333:Africans! Governor's party always wins ALL LGA elections. LGA elections have always been a monumental show of shame in Nigeria. |
slimfit1:UAE provided a list of unlicensed international money transfer and bureau de change operators. That list is nonsense! And that explains why the Nigerian govt was quick to publish it. |
blacknp:Your existence is of no value to me, and neither is my existence of any value to you. So why should I bother explaining who I am to you? All I did was to point out to you that I've never been a fan of Reno cause of his obvious divisiveness. I was never his fan when he was PDP, and never his fan now he's desperately trying to romance APC. If this simple piece of info is too complex for your brain to comprehend, then there's nothing I can further explain to you that you will comprehend. |
blacknp:If you dont know me, ask! Stop making useless generalisations... I've never been a fan of Reno and probably never will; I've also always fought and called out his divisiveness even here on Nairaland as far back as 2010-2013 when he was still active here before he got into govt. So like I said earlier, if you dont know who you're talking to, the sensible thing to do is to ask or do a little back research instead of making meaningless assumptions. |
blacknp:Do you even know who you're talking to? Or you just assume everyone you converse with on this forum is made of the same fabric? |
AlhajiCSO:Associating openly with an unstable charlatan like Reno can be a dangerous exercise; even a half smart person knows this. Similar to FFK, no matter how well they seem to sing your praises, every sensible person knows to be careful with these kind of men. |
Oh wow!.... Didnt know OBIDIENTS were the only ones feeling the hardship in Nigeria. Protest hasn't started, it's already been labelled "OBIDIENT protest". Politicians we hail thee! Next stage of the manipulation, we would hear things like "Igbos are protesting because a Yoruba man is president", and in a split second, everyone forgets their hunger and faces the Igbos, while the real culprits (politicians) laugh and feast away. Nigeria's truly an amazing place filled with fantastically silly people! Anyway, the last time I checked, OBIDIENTS are made up of some of the most enlightened and comfortable Nigerians who logically are the least affected by the widespread hardship. If you argue, kindly go back and check the last election results by neighbourhood statistics (data doesn't lie); OBI won in the richer, affluent and enlightened neighbourhoods across Nigeria, including multi-cultural, multi-ethnic and multi-religious cities like Abuja and the affluent parts of Lagos. Even the APC politicians and their street thugs knew this; which explains why people who looked 'too fresh' were violently turned back at polling units in Lagos for 'looking like OBIDIENTS'. Last last na poor people dey vote rubbish, and na poor people dey suffer the most! |
Every child and adult of Nigerian descent knows too well that leadership corruption, greed and insensitivity is the primary reason Nigeria has remained a poverty stricken third world nation, despite the abundance of human and natural resources. We talk about it everyday and we lament the leadership corruption at every opportunity... but whenever it's time for elections, we still elect the most greedy and most notoriously corrupt individuals as leaders and somehow hope for a miracle to happen? Is there really any APC supporter that can claim they werent aware prior to the 2023 elections that Tinubu and his lieutenants were notoriously corrupt?.... Rather they've spent the last 2 years unsuccessfully trying to prove how "OBI is also corrupt". Even if there's a whiff of corruption in OBI's record (which is yet to be unearthed), a child born today can quite easily tell he's a million times less corrupt and more compassionate than the rest. But does that really matter to Nigerians when there are more important things like tribe, religion and online temperament of OBi supporters to worry about?... We keep electing insensitive thieves as leaders and keep wondering why the nation is plundered? Shebi Tinubu don go spend $150 million on a private jumbo jet for himself and his friends even when they cant add a kobo to minimum wages.. Even the yes sir! yes sir! imbeciles we have in parliament quickly approved it, yet minimum wage for workers is 30k monthly. |
Of all the things going on in Nigeria, OBI not wishing WS a happy birthday on twitter is apparently the most pressing political issue for a certain set of Nigerian dunderheads to masturbate on. |
Pastorjohn2:APC has succeeded in cleaning the 16 year mess of PDP by making things a hundred times worse in just 9 years. |
Gregorystarrrr: ElevationD: Naijaepic:In some countries, you dont need the card pin for small transactions. |
Poverty is the only reason we see these things in Africa. |
Ikwerre by all logical standards is Igbo; their language is just an Igbo dialect. However if the Ikwerre people so claim that they aren't Igbos, then they arent Igbos. |
lexy2014:👇🏽 obailala: |
lexy2014:Like I said, I dont swallow anything I read on the internet, so NO, I wouldnt be wasting my time with info that can't be trusted. |
lexy2014:Did you read what I wrote? Or did you just not understand it? |
Sleekfingers:Well, I have better things to do with my life than travel to every part of the world to learn about everything, including things that add no value to my life. But then again, even if I wouldn't travel to Mars to learn about it's culture, it doesn't still make it wise for me to swallow everything I read on the internet. |
NairaMaster1: lexy2014:Age and experience has taught me not to swallow everything I see on the news or on the internet. Every story I know of North Korea was told by an enemy of North Korea. Would it really be wise of me to swallow it all? |
Lymasaba:I wonder oh!... It is understood that the nation has a very repressive regime that ensures every thing is hidden. But can any and everything truly be hidden under the sun every single time? I've heard so many stories about NK but for some reason, not a single evidence (video etc.) has leaked? |
Sleekfingers:...And what exactly would be the relevance of my visit? Must I travel to every part of the world to learn about everything? |
