Make i put school bag for your back carry you go primary school for you to understand what for example means??

Its just an instance to let you understand that u cant base size of passengers on size of fleet alone since u dont seem very bright in this field.

For example if Dana air has the highest number of passengers for local destinations, will u bring up same argument of impossibility since they have a lower fleet size than AP.

Airlines base routes on foot traffic and viability of the destination, fleet size isnt the only parameter.

what is the population of Ethiopia compared to Nigeria head to head.

Have u checked the frequency of flights for each of the destinations?

You might have never heard of Ryanair but i guess u must have heard of Emirates, why are you not arguing that Ryanair cant have more passengers than a whole Emirate, Ryan air might not have more destinations than Emirates.
- If my grandma had 2 wheels, she would have been a motorcycle.
- If my dad had wings, he would have been a boeing 747.

Both of the above sentences are instances, but one thing common to them is that they are both meaningless and unrealistic instances. You dont need nursery education to discern that.

Thd point being made here is you should stop making unrealistic instances in arguments. You cant keep assuming that EA planes are idle and rotting away on the tarmac while AP planes are being utilised to 150% capacity; where're you digging up these pointless instances from?

If EA management was stupid enough to just amass 154 planes that are idle (as you keep suggesting in your instances), then EA would have since folded up cos airline businesses thrive on aircraft utilisation.

If the airline is reporting profits and expanding its fleet, shouldnt common sense tell you they're getting bookings? Had it been that AP had like over 100 planes while EA had 154, perhaps your assumptions and argument would have been reasonable. Do you know how terribly bad business has to be for EA with 154 planes to have less overall passenger headcount than an airline with 29 planes?

Meanwhile talking of Ryanair, are you aware Ryansir has over 580 active planes compared to Emirates eith about 260?... Ryanair is also a low cost airline that almost operates what I'd call a 'molue' service; they thrive on short routes and maximise number of seats in their planes. Looking at the numbers, common sense can easily tell you and I that Ryanair would have more passenger turnover than emirates.

If I may ask, on what evidence is your argument even based? Just assumptions? Or is it the obviously fictitious and severally debunked figures posted by the OP?

...
You seem to dig out weird numbers from your imagination, believe the numbers, build your arguments on these imaginary numbers, and then pass them across as facts. How did you arrive at the conclusion that only 4 out of 154 EA planes are dedicated to Africa? A quick check to EA's website reveals the run to over 20 local destinations (in-country) and over 60 destinations in Africa. How did you come to the conclusion that only 4 planes are used for these over 80 destinations?

You cant wrap your head around it because u dont work in aviation, firstly the data is about the African market only, which means it only applies to flights within Africa so doesnt cover all destinations, they might have bigger size of fleet however have you bothered to ask what is the frequency of their flights within Africa, for example if AP has 3 flights to JHB daily while EA has one, then AP has more passengers,EA wont fly to JHB empty just because they have a bigger fleet, they fly based on frequency of bookings, size of fleet doesnt determine the frequency of bookings.

Somehow im not assuming anything,im not holding brief for AP however the data is very possible, they would have more fleet dedicated to more busier routes, thats basic common sense, perhaps the busier routes for AP are middle east and europe so that is where most of the fleet would be dedicated to.

Meanwhile my analogy was just an example to let you know fleet size isnt the only parameter to consider,i dont need to research on that cos i work im aviation,so i know better, you are only getting worked up due to fleet size without confirming the types of airframes involved in the fleet,i guess now you have a better idea that fleet size alone cant be a determinant factor without considering the type of airframe.

Just to clarify i already knew both dont have a jumbo, the analogy is for you to have an idea of airframes, the realistic answer to that is frequency of booking,if AP with one jumbo goes to a destination daily while EA goes to the same destination once in 3 days, then AP wins despite having a smaller fleet,EA wont fly empty airframes just for display of a bigger fleet, they fly based on booking frequency.
Lol... You're actually a funny individual for confidently perpetuating such an illogical argument despite what everyone has told you.

By the way, I'm a well educated adult with a sound mind and also with the gift of discernment. I don't have to work in the aviation industry to understand basic number; this is common sense!

I'm wondering where you got your idea from that the OP was referring to only passengers carried within Africa; but let's even assume its within Africa like you claim. The EA fleet operating within Africa far outnumbers the entire AP fleet; EA travels to over 20 cities within Ethiopia and over 60 cities in Africa. How many destinations does AP fly to?

You keep repeating this argument about AP flying to a destination 3 times a day but EA flying to same destination once in 3 days; where on earth are you digging up these imaginary numbers from? EA has been in existence for almost 80 years and is the largest and most profitable airline in Africa, but somehow you think the management of EA are idiots that they don't know how to maximally utilise their planes? Are you saying EA doesn't know how to manage an airline business? They're not getting frequent bookings but somehow they keep buying more and more planes, expanding their fleet even with more wide-body aircrafts and they're not getting bookings?? Buying more and more planes to fly empty? What kind of voodoo economics is that? Is this what you've learnt from your time working in the aviation industry?

Just like @pappilo pointed out to you, even if AP converts all its 29 planes to 777's carrying up to 300 passengers per plane, AP wouldn't still match the capacity of EA. Abeg try using common sense sometimes; cos you keep making your so called time in the aviation industry questionable.

Firstly this fact is about the African market and not International.

The Logic in the world there is foot traffic, flight frequency, and capacity of airframe.

Lets take flight frequency for example ,if Airpeace has 3 daily flights to JHB while Ethiopian airlines has 1,then for sure Airpeace has more passangers for that route.

Basic economics is no respecter of sentiments, size of fleet is sentiments in this issue,If Airpeace flight to Accra is for example 200k,while price of Ethiopean airlines is 300k,will you as a person go for the Ethiopean flight due to size of fleet, add some zeros to the fleet size and go use am buy yam for market na.

Parameters like safety rating are things that really matter in aviation not only size of fleet.
Not sure I can wrap my head around the logic of this your argument... Ethiopian Airlines has 154 planes; that is more than 5 times the fleet size of AirPeace which has just 29 planes. EA also has way more wide-body aircrafts than AP and travels to more destinations, but somehow you think AP is ferrying more passengers annually than EA?... How exactly is this even logical to you?...

Somehow you've assumed and confidently concluded that EA just bought their 154 planes as decorations; obviously they aren't sufficiently knowledgeable or smart or capable of efficiently optimising the use of their 154 planes, that must be why AP is flying more passengers annually with just 29 planes. All of this just because you saw some unverified figures plucked from God knows where?

Meanwhile I saw an analogy you gave in one of your earlier posts about how AP with just one A380 should be able to ferry more passengers than EA with four A320's. Obviously that was an attempt by you to play down the relevance of EA's fleet size; afterall fleet size is just a number and just "sentiments". But did you even bother to research the equipment both airlines have in their fleet before jumping to your conclusions?...

Just to clarify, both airlines don't have A380's, but if we must stick with this your analogy, the more realistic comparison and question you should try and answer is how AP with one A380 would carry more passengers than EA with 9 A380's.

Open your mind.....this fact is about more passengers within African routes, not size of fleet,or total number of international route passengers,Ethiopian airlines has a larger fleet no doubt, most of their busiest routes are the middle east and Europe,Air peace on the other hand has busier routes within Africa because we obviously have a larger local travelling population compared to Ethiopia.
Except you guys are saying Ethiopian Airlnes have just parked two-thirds of their fleet on the ground for decoration, there's absolutely no logic in the world that can make Air Peace with a fleet size of 29 carry more passengers yearly than Ethiopian airlines with a fleet size of 154 planes.

No airline buys planes to park them at the tarmac to waste away.

Mr Man, that road will be completed in 7 to 8 years maximum.

I don't know where you people and Obi are plucking out these outlandish figures like 30 years and all this nonsense.

You need to stop this.

Regarding the funding, ''The total estimated cost of the 700km Lagos-Calabar Coastal road project is put at N15.6 trillion. The funding model for the Lagos-Calabar coastal road project is EPC+ (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Financing) where the federal government would put up a counterpart financing of around 30% while the contractor funds the remainder.

Last October, FEC approved the EPC+ model for this project in favor of Hitech Construction company. Going by the estimated N15.6 trillion cost for the entire coastal road stretch, the federal government’s counterpart fund is around N4.68 trillion.

The federal government, in a bid to hasten the commencement of the project, decided to finance construction of the first 47km in phase 1 of the road project, which runs from Ahmadu Bello Way, Victoria Island to the Lekki Deep Sea port. The contract sum of N1.06 trillion was awarded for this section by FEC to Hitech, and construction is ongoing with unprecedented speed.

Whatever funding FG is providing for this section of the road will come under the FG’s counterpart fund. I must emphasize that this funding model adopted by the Tinubu administration is the best model possible, considering the country’s revenue size. This is a monumental infrastructural project being majorly funded with private finance. This is possible because the coastal road is extremely viable.''

For the past 20+ years you've not been able to complete the simple dualisation of the already existing east-west road which traverses the entire niger delta citing lack of funds; it'd cost less than N1trillion to complete that, but the fund isn't available. Someone there just decided a new bridge was what they wanted in the East, and they pressured the FG to build it!
That is exactly my point! There was nothing wrong with the 1st bridge besides that the perennial traffic on it was extreme and unbearable. So it only made sense for the commuters to yearn for a new bridge to ease the pain.

However, IF the 1st bridge was dilapidated or unmotorable, and the govt claims it didnt have the funds to patch the already existing bridge, then what sense would it have made to initiate a brand new bridge under such circumstances?

Another point about the niger bridge was its cost. A simple bridge of less than 2km over a single river was definitely a practical and achievable project. But is the 700km coastal road a practical and achievable project given the financial situation of the country?

The existing roads which run through all coastal states, (i.e. the Lagos-Sagamu-Ore-Benin-Sapele-Warri and the east west road up to Calabar) are all in bad shape and I'm sure 1trillion would completely fix these roads. In the last 20 years, the FG hasnt been able to complete these roads due to fund shortages, but somehow someone thinks its a wise decision to start constructing a brand new parallel road which will costs over N15trillion? Where will the money come from?

If you truly understand the dynamics of addictions, you would realise that it is practically impossible to stop an addiction overnight. What the person you quoted said is the truth; quite often if you try to stop an addiction overnight, you typically relapse into a worse form of the same addiction. Practical therapies against addictions (be it drugs or alcoholism etc) usually employ the method of substitution, i.e. gradually substitute the substance of the addiction with something else which is less harmful, until the addiction dies away.
