So because he's a senator, he should go and hang himself and have no life?... Even with his playful ways, he still remains about the most vocal/active senator out of the 108 agbayas in the chambers, yet you still have a problem with him having a personal life?... |

The aggressive woman is the one charging up to the man, yet she's still screaming "satan go away from me"? ![]() With the kind of filthy words coming off her mouth, it's now a bit confusing telling who the real devil is here. ![]() |
naijapips04:I wasnt necessarily referring to a cattle market, rather I was talking of cattle farms, cattle ranches were beef would be produced. Besides, what kind of market covers 1200 hectares?.. that doesnt sound like a matket. |
Such a sickening cycle... In 2012 when oil sold for ~$100 and when thr exchange rate was ~N150/$1, non-subsidized fuel sold for N142/litre. Today oil prices have risen to $70, and with the exchange rate at N305/$1 (i.e. double what it was in 2012), it is clear why the current non-subsidized cost of petrol is far far higher than the fixed N145. A responsible government should have seen this coming and planned for it a long time ago. A responsible govt should have done something (other than just celebrating more petro-dollar) when the oil prices began to rise. In planning for this day, a responsible and insightful govt should have taken quick loans and scrambled 4-5 modular refineries (which should have been instantly privatized with the returns used to pay off the loan). But obviously, everyone folded their arms waiting for Dangote to complete his refinery. Now we are all caught out in the rain. |
CSTR2:I didnt say I didnt see anything wrong. But then again, the only thing really wrong is just the bad reputation anything that has to do with cattle and fulanis have in the country today. If the land talked about can be used for massive ranches which would be operated by Imolites, then there's absolutely nothing wrong with the idea; in fact it would be a brilliant idea which would supply beef to the entire region especially at this time people are debating the boycott of beef from normadic killer herdsmen. |
Daviddson:You should know the words 'cow' or 'cattle' gives a lot of people an instant erection these days. Hatred for Rochas is also another factor which turns many people on... So you can imagine mentioning Rochas and cow in the samr sentence... |
okosodo:And what has Amaechi got to do with this?... Is Amaechi now the governor of River's state who refused to go clear the property of River's state from the port?... Receive sense! |
pauljumbo:Soldiers that should be protecting lives and properties are now the ones having poultries, fish farms, veggie farms etc? In fact, the soldiers are also now into having wives, having children, involving in sports, involving in medical outreaches and in general, now having a life. Should the life and existence of the military only be restricted to shooting guns? Is that what it is around the world?... Some other initiatives were mentioned in that report, but clearly, the magic buzz words which now give Nigerians instant erections these days are 'cow' or 'cattle'; thanks and no thanks to Bubu... |
Esseite:No I dont think so. Every single economic initiative of the military in Nigeria is only available for fulanis and their families. |
yanshDoctor:Since when did the military also start having a poultry, fish farm, vegetable farms etc?... That report mentioned several other things besides cattle, but these days, it seems like the magic words 'cattle' or 'cow' gives everyone an instant erection. Thanks and no thanks to Buhari.. Meanwhile, there's nothing new or wrong for the military to be involved in different aspects of the economy (e.g. agriculture); that wouldnt stop the military from being the military |

arrestdarrester:Shut up and focus on the issue at hand... Go back and respond to the first comment where I quoted you and quit all these your pointless rigmarole. I made a simple point that you were speaking from the position of ignorance when you accused that dude of "always blaming GEJ". Stop trying to twist this into a different issue |
arrestdarrester:Mr Man quit this your pointless diversions and just hide your head in shame. Moments ago, someone mentioned that GEj was the one to be blamed for the relooted $500m loot and not buhari as most of the people on this thread ignorantly assume... You attacked the person for "always blaming GEj" and that was simply because you were actually ignorant of the fact that he was saying the truth. Quit this your desperate attempt at diverting away from the topic. |
arrestdarrester:There's nothing wrong with my level of reasoning except for the fact that its too complex for your understanding. |
arrestdarrester:Read the link I posted first and then examine your own level of reasoning. |
arrestdarrester:These jonathanians can be some of the most ridiculous clowns at times. A report is made of recovered $500m loot which was being relooted, there's already over 3 pages littered with ignoramuses placing the blame on Buhari. Someone takes the pain to enlighten the ignoramuses that the reported theft actually happened under GEJ and not Buhari. But here we are, this one's head interprets it as blame game? "They will never take responsibility for once." Who really is this 'they'?... Whatever happened to enlightening yourself first? https://www.newdiplomatng.com/news/revealed-500m-abachas-loot-re-looted/ |
coputa:God forbid this kind of ignorance, the ignorance that pushes people to ignorantly pray self destructive prayers... What you obviously do not know is that the $500million recovered loot was actually relooted by the GEJ you are calling for and his lieutenants just months before he left office. https://www.newdiplomatng.com/news/revealed-500m-abachas-loot-re-looted/ |
benzion72:In order to prevent the same "burden of choice" which happened in 2015 (just as Soyinka put it), it is left to PDP to produce an 'appealing' candidate in 2019. Else, even with all the disappointment, there may just be serious voter apathy down south and you will see the same Buhari returning as president. |
Little by little, the middle belt (Benue in particular) is beginning to wake up and understand that they should be more aligned with the south rather than their strange fellowship with the north who only considers them as pawns. If only the SE and SW can become wise for once and put petty differences aside and work together in certain political issues, then more middle belt states would certainly choose to align with the south instead of the north, and there would consequently be a paradigm shift from the hegemony of the core north. |
dukie25:If I remember, Fayose stood in as defender in chief for the quack Kaduna teachers that were sacked. Why doesnt he extend his magnanimity to the Kaduna sacked teachers by employing them to come spoil education in Ekiti? ![]() |
PapaBrowne:I have not being on the abuja kaduna train, but I know the terrain of the area very well. There is absolutely no basis for comparison on which terrain is easier to build on. First of all, you don't need to be told that the best and easiest terrain to build anything on, be it a road, rail, bridge or building structures is on a hard dry rocky terrain as the terrain already provides a natural foundation. This is general knowledge, so I wonder where you got you strange ideology from that it is more difficult to build on hard terrain; even the bible talks about the wise man building his house on the rock. Secondly, how can any person possibly compare the difficulty/cost of building a railway/road through an almost arid forest to building the same railway/road through a densely populated area metropolitan city?... It's already reported above that over 1400 houses and other structures are already marked for demolition with enormous compensation claims; yet you think building a rail through the heart of Lagos is easier than building the same rail through an unpopulated/uninhabited hard soil forest? Are you kidding me? ![]() And please, how many kilometres of the Lagos-Ibadan road was constructed in 2014? any evidence? to support your outrageous 'half' claims? |
PapaBrowne:Abuja to Kaduna which basically runs through a desert cannot be compared to something running through the centre of a metropolitan city like Lagos; it's a pointless comparison. Meanwhile, did I just read lagos Ibadan expressway gone more than half? https://media.distractify.com/Z1csgg8/1200x0/duck-1493405241062.jpg |
This was expected, very typical of Nigerian projects; poor planning, poor feasibility studies, always behind schedule. |

dumo1:Sometimes one doesnt know whether it's an inability to read, or an inability to comprehend what's being read, or maybe it's just an intentional decision to act like you dont understand the topic... I asked for projects started and completed between 2010 and 2015. We talking of PROJECTS, you are copying and pasting 'rebase of economy' as a project? Now let's assume we weren't even talking of just projects, do you even have a clue what rebasing of an economy means? You actually think rebasing the economy is what grew the econony to be bigger than south africa and egypt? I doubt you have a clue else rebasing wouldnt be bragged about as an achievement. 'Practicing of true democracy and false democracy is also a project completed between 2010 and 2015 to you?... I guess when GEJ, Patience and Commisioner Mbu locked a sitting governor Amaechi out of his own residence and office, I guess that was also one of GEJ's tangible capital projects completed between 2010 amd 2015?... lest I forget, maybe when APC lawmakers were locked out of the NASS to conduct a sham impeachment of Tambuwal (an event which was only thwarted after ApC lawmakers had to scale the NASS fence after being teargassed by the IG on orders from above, or couod it be when they told Nigerians to their faces that 16 was greater than 19?... I guess you should add some of these as you examples of capital projects... Hallelluia! Construction of many federal roads, at least you now know what a capital project is. But please all those roads you mentioned, can you point a single one which was started or finished? Because as we speak, every single one of those roads you mentioned are still undergoing massive construction works by the current admin, which brings me back to what I said earlier abput FG projects spanning several tenures/regimes. For the abuja-kaduna railway, while the tracks were completed, have you asked yourself why GEj couldn't scramble and commision the project before leaving office? Have you asked why up to N17bn (or so I think) had to still be budgeted for the project in 2016 before it could be completed and launched in 2016? In summary, from your list, besides the almajiri schools, can you actually point out anything which was started and finished within the 5 year tenure? |
When did cows start eating dry straws/grass/hay like horses?... Nigerians dull shaa... even the vehicle boldy states 'mounted division'. |
Ahhh.. I remember precisely in July 2009, a similar report was heard of a bomb going off at a local bomb factory in Borno killing some of the people working on it; it sounded like a joke. A week later or so, another bomb went off at another bomb factory killing and maiming some of the workers again. 3 weeks later, what we heard next was a bomb attack at a police station by a group of miscreant followed by looting of the station's armoury... and that was how boko haram was born. |
sunbilor:At least some patch patch work is going on at the PH-Aba-Enugu road. I dont know avout finishing it, but like I said, FG projects are mainly large in nature and considering the typically slow pace of work in this country, such projects typically span several tenures. If you doubt me, kindly point out the projects started and finished by GeJ between 2010 and 2015 in Abia state? Or even in any other state. |
excel101:This sort of reasoning is what forces Nigerian (and African) leaders to abandon projects all over the place. No wonder Nigeria is the global capital for abandoned projects... After all, "why should I spend resources completing a project started by my predecessor when the majority of the people think like the above?... How many projects did GeJ start and finish?.. and for the ones he finished (but didnt start), how many did he thank OBJ for? |
dumo1:Quit your emotional rant and disprove what I said with superior logic. You can even start by bringing up some examples of FG projects which were started and finished within the space of 2010 and 2015 (a tenure and a year). |
thesicilian:Only a fool will stand, fold his arms, and have himself and his family being slaughtered by animals. Jesus Christ never asked Christians to be fools... |
