If we didnt start frim somewhere, Nigeria would still be importing cement today. And it's because we didnt think we could syary from somewhere, that's why Nigeria shamefully imports 100% of the fuel it uses; something which wasnt the case 20 years ago when I reckon we also didnt have light or good roads.

Well, cost of productjon will definitely be higher, remember we have no light, poor transportation, poor govt policy, high interest rates etc. But that's the reason why the locally produced goods are more expensive than the imported counterparts. But then, we have to staty from somewhere.

This form of harsh economic ideology cannot jumpstart the mirage of eldorado those idiots in Aso Rock think will happen. You cannot put the cart before the horse and expect to move forward. Provide the electricity and necessary infrastructures to an appreciable level before all these ban. For pete sakes, you are not producing anything yet and you expect manufacturing to start out of the blues cos of some BAN.

I don't know how they think in Aso Rock. It is obvious we have some bunch of dumboes in power who thought process is far off their behind.

There would never be an enabling environment for businessmen to set up tomato plants in Nigeria as long as foreign/china made tomato paste remains far cheaper and sweeter (in the mouth of most people) than made in Nigeria tomato.

We are npt producing enough tomato paste yes! But this is the only way to ensure we start producing more. This is the best policy ever to drive the tomato business.

Government has already taken care of that by this ban. Now more individuals would start setting up tomato plants... We cannot keep importing everything and this is the only way to discourage the import craze.

Nigeria currently has 2 major tomato paste producers, even if they dont have the capacity to produce all we need, with the current import ban, foreign tomato paste would become more expensive, Nigerians would begin to patronise Nigerian tomato paste and that will encourage more investors to set up new tomato plants. There os nothing brainless about this policy.

I was of the opinion that there are different possibilities; that the pastor may or may have not slept with the girl and that I would only be an open minded spectator until I get real convincing evidence. There is no one doubting or laying claims to my parenthood, there is no one claiming they bore me besides my mother and there is no one providing subtle exhibits claiming my mother isn't the one who truly bore me. So yeah, if the above was the case, i.e. someone doubting or arguing my parenthood, then yes, there is a 'possibility' that someone is lying, either the accuser or my mum. But then, it is the responsibility of the accuser to prove their case.
