BlowBack:SR has never hidden the fact that they have several moles in govt. Whether they are paid or cajoled to publish filth about anyone, the real crux of the matter is that 90% of the filth they've exposed turned out to be true, albeit with plenty exaggerations. That explains why no matter how they may be hated by many (usually when the story doesnt favour the person), SR still remains relevant 10 years later. |
Efe for the mula.. Landslide things ![]() |
henrydadon:You get what you pay for. There's nothing substandard about those phones, they're just low end (cheaper) smart phones. |
"...He (Ibori) fought tyranny and stood for the truth led to his indictment for corrupt practices."Which other evidence do we need to prove that so many Nigerians are sick? ![]() |
Politics of maturity, not the foolishness we see in Rivers state. |
Agumbankembu:I wouldn't normally respond to this nonsense, but would be making an exception cos I'm excited. Biko kindly point out to where I mentioned that RB was formed after or because of Buhari's election?... Or let me just save you the stress by clarifying your misconception; I said and I repeat again (this time read it carefully), over 95% of today's Ipob adherents only joined the movement after Jonathan lost the 2015 election. Nnamdi K had been ranting on radio biafra for ages, sahara reporters even interviewed him sometime in early 2014. But at the time, nobody took either Kanu or Ipob or Massob serious, massob members were arrested randomly and nobody spoke up but rather they were disregarded as jobless old men; not until the results of the 2015 election was released and then Ipob and Massob became darlings. After the grand political miscalculations of the SE in 2015 (which set the SE several decades backwards politically), the next HOPE was obviously to just run away from the Nigerian political stage by demanding secession; hence millions instantly embraced the hitherto disregarded Nnamdi Kanu ideologies. Tell me I am wrong and I will show you a joker, except for some very few core biafrans like Pazienza who you can still trace his posts as far back as 2011 calling for Biafra, over 95% of the people shouting Biafra Biafra today are nothing more than disgruntled Jonathanians. Quote me anywhere! |
verygudbadguy:Yeah you are right.. Wizzy hasn't really deviated much (yet), but he needs to watch it, it still sounds cool now cos he's extremely talented. |
Did the 'Innocent' dude hear Ayiri make the statement with his mouth?... Infact, did anyone at all hear Ayiri actually make the N50m statement?.... There lies the real problem with social media, nor be Ayiri fault. |
verygudbadguy:The bolded part of your message is the mindset that still keeps Africa backwards; thinkink we have to change who/what we are to be accepted by others. We believe the only way to reach out and appeal to global audience is to speak in foreign accents, sing like foreigners and act like foreigners. But I think that stems out of a larger inferiority complex and identity crisis issue. We lose our brand thinking we are pleasing others. You walk into a Nigerian club in London and they play 50:50 Nigerian: I walked into the Jamaican stand at the London Nottinhill carnival some years back and they played only Jamaican songs, but when I proceeded to Nigerian stand, djjimmyjatt kept playing 70:30 American-Nigerian songs amd I was like, 'WTF!' Isn't this supposed to be a cultural carnival where everyone represents their culture?.. Excuse given was that they needed to accommodate non-Nigerian guests, but it's actually #InferiorityComplex Bob Marley is a global icon today, he didnt need to change his brand to be accepted. Likewise the Felas of this world. Stay true to yourself and people will seek you when they need your kind of stuff. If a Brit walks into a Nigerian club, he expects to hear Nigerian songs, not the same British/American songs he hears all the time in thousands of other clubs. |
ourema:E go actually be kwale type ![]() |
kahal29:And the political compensation continues... Africa still has a long way to go.. |
Dedetwo:No we haven't!.. When did you go through that part and was it with a united voice? If half of the energy that has been used to clamour for secession since 2015 especially is poured into a clamour for restructuring, it would have been achieved decades ago. Besides, we must face reality, balkanising a nation is not beans, Nnamdi Kanu wasn't far from the truth when he asserted that the only way to divide a nation is through war. |
discusant:I was referring to leadership at the local level; governors, LGA chairmen, senators, reps etc. Quoting the words of Soludo in the video below: "o bu ndi awusa n'achi n'alaigbo?.. o bu ndi yoruba n'achi n'alaigbo?" The last time I checked, an Igbo man rules the 5 SE states + 2 SS states today, and there have never been a time in Nigeria's history when we heard that monthly allocation was withheld from any of these states. Just like every other region in Nigeria, we also have similar set of misfits serving as leaders in the eastern region without any form of social revolution against their wickedness/incompetence.. We haven't made any attempt to solve this leadership issue, yet we just believe 100% that the factor holding down development is the man sitting in Abuja; misplaced priorities! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sw_f9lkZ2ck By the way, regarding the over-flogged defeatist talk about the north having the largest population and LGAs/representatives etc, I personally don't believe that holds any water. Divide and rule is allowed and I'm very sure the north central who we always conveniently lump in together as 'north' are equally tired of the dominance of the far north and will take a stand with the south if and only if the south sorts out its divided house. |
discusant:Where is my intelligence?... My intelligence rests in the fact that when I find something dysfunctional, I consider the most practical option which is 'to fix it.' Restructure Nigeria and all the main issues which drive the secession agitations will be solved. Restructuring is also a far more achievable target that the expensive venture of total balkanisation which would most likely be achieved through needless crisis and bloodshed. I'm not sure I grab what you mean by your parasitism statement. |
Gbam!... Based on logistics, whether e win or e nor win! ![]() |
The real thing we should be fighting for, and which I believe is achievable is the implementation of Confab reports; return the damn country to its structure before 66. I just shake my head in pity when I see people with outpouring emotions running around shouting Biafra Biafra! Most ridiculous is the fact that 95% of the agitators picked up the idea just moments after their preferred candidate lost an election. ![]() Balkanising a country isn't beans, Nnamdi Kanu wasn't too far from the truth when he said the only way to break a country is through war. Is it really worth it plunging the nation into such needless crisis when the most fundamental issue (i.e. quality leadership) has not been addressed? |
This EFe matter don be like 2015 May 28th landslide... ![]() |
Nwodosis:You may be right, this is likewise the reason why dangote trailers are always involved in accidents. But the truth is, with the established nature of PMT and Dangote, they should be able to put in more efforts at training and testing drivers, maintaining their vehicles and whatever else it may require to stem this nasty trend. |
PMT again... this man's villahe people must be working overtime in his case. ![]() But then again, let's cut the bullshit; 95% of accidents in Nigeria are caused by bad driving and poor vehicle maintenance. Some people may say 'bad road' is a factor, but when you have a driver blasting 160km/h on Nigerian roads known to be riddled with potholes, then it would be meaningless blaming the road. |
Why do I just have a feeling they look like siblings?.. Not just siblings but twins?... There's everything weird about their resemblance. ![]() |
Same old story since 1980... |
Fx55:The last time I checked, you are also one of the creatures who contributed immensely to make the country a zoo... So while you keep praying for the destruction of Nigeria because your candidate lost a freaking election, you will only reap your own destruction. Keep praying and celebratung nonsense. |
Fx55:I believe I aptly described you in that my previous comment which you quoted. Meanwhile we are all in the mess together so keep rejoicing and celebrating the rot in your country because your myopic mind thinks life starts and ends with gej vs buhari rivalry. |
I thought I read a news report today saying the govt has just cleared all outstanding pension arrears from 2014 till date? |
And corruption wins again, and the 'animals' in the 'zoo' rejoiced, cos they were exceedingly glad. |
God bless all our mothers out there ![]() |
Lol... Very soon we go hear say Shekau and his bokoharam faction are supporting Debby rice. |

Fight against corruption in Nigeria = Mission Impossible!!!

Buhari's biggest undoing was his failed attempt at being a democrat in the beginning of this Saraki matter. Saraki and his boys are now rendering the govt and country useless to the admiration and applause of wailers even while Buhari lies sick in bed. Walahi, it is at times like this one understands how smart and cunny OBJ was. |
nwakibie3:Why do I feel we are both referring to different reports? Except we are both reading different reports, I'm not sure I understand your comment. The attorney general already sent a letter saying the so called missing funds ain't missing any more. Oh yes, the ICPC lawyer may have claimed that it wasn't the letter from the attorney general's office that INSTRUCTED them to withdraw the case, but what case exactly would they be prosecuting the man for if the attorney general has already said nothing is missing? An Abuja High Court sitting at Apo, on Tuesday, struck out six-count charge the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission, ICPC, preferred against former Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Elder Godsday Orubebe over his alleged complicity in a N1.97billion contract fraud. |
