OLADD:You just confirmed that Femi Adesina never said anything, then you turn around to blame APC for the silly interpretation of Daily Post? Now what's the difference between this your thread and the rubbish vomited by Daily Post? Make una try dey use small dignity dey do this opposition thing abeg. |
No insults but they all look like overfed rogues. With these kind of people being the leaders of Nigeria, little wonder the country is the way it is today. |
Lol.. This is an interesting one. I think Nairaland should put up a poll for this. |
omenkaLives:Hahaha.. I really pitied Wendell during those episodes; he thought he was speaking to a colleague, dude had no clue he was conversing with a psycho. |
Hahaha.. creative minds! |
Buhari why? ![]() |
I think the only thing that's MIA is the 'sense' of the Op; cos the last time I checked, Nigeria doesn't have a power vacuum. |
philtex:The wise question that should be asked first is, 'how much is the recovered loot so far and how does it compare to the loan amount in question?' |
Chaii.. stories and counter strories, it gets more and nore intwresting. One thing is still consistently clear, they never loved us and they never cared; it was all about their pockets and srlfish interests. |
denko:Every human with a sound mind knows it's because we have too many people like Yakubu (and even far worse) in leadership in Nigeria, that's the exact reason why over 100 million people are starving in a blessed land which should be one of the richest nations worldwide. Also, the primary reason we have too many people like Yakubu in leadership is because we have so many not-so-smart people who take it upon themselves as a divine duty to defend these vampires and try to downplay the devastating economic effects of their activities. |
figment232:But at least he wouldnt jump out and start sacking CbN governor or nNpc GMd if they should raise alarm one day that amaechi stole money. That's the difference bruv! |
figment232:Naa... Jona took the legitimisation of corruption thingy to a whole new ridiculous level which can never be matched by anyone. The most annoying part was when he kept defending corrupt people as if to say he was the one being directly accused. A clear case was when Sanusi Lamido brought up the issue of NNPC not remitting funds to CBN. All the president needed to do then after the case came public was to make the usual political statement "we will investigate." But instead, to the chagrin of all well meaning Nigerians, theran into defensive mode as if to say Sanusi was accusing him of pocketing the money. Next thing we heard even before calling for investigation was, "no money is missing, if money is missing america will know." Then next thing on the agenda was to sack sanusi ![]() Cmon man, no one can take it away from Jona when it comes to defending corruption; even die-hard jonathanians today have taken it up as their national duty to defend and die for anyone accused of corruption. |
Hahaha... Nigerian politics and intrigues, stories and counter-stories. Bottom line in all of these is that all our political leaders are thieves, and GEJ took it to the next level by giving liberty and legitimacy to thievery. |
FFK never fails to disappoint with his foul language; always proving himself beyond doubt to be a psychotic wailer. I doubt there can be redemption for his likes, he would certainly consume himself before help comes his way. |
A drop of water in an ocean... |
IYANGBALI:You don see am b4? |
This man tiny shaa ![]() Just imagine his size beside Dickson www.nairaland.com/attachments/4850395_fbimg1486729813046_jpeg9419c1a9f3fbde6f186a3713ecddd57e |
![]() Come to think of it, while we all think we are smart by spotting what we perceive to be an error, the mastermind of the inscription might know exactly what he's talking about. ![]() |
KanwuliaExtra: alitanko100:There is a very high likelihood that this report is true. Criminal herdsmen have been robbing along that axis for ages now and not a single thing has been done about them. I have family members who have been robbed along the Ughelli-Asaba road by robbers who they all described as cattle herders; my own personal experience was in 2009 when I ran into an armed robbery operation along the benin bypass and the criminals all dressed and looked like your typical cattle herders. Of course after the operation, they all withdrew into the very thick forest where no policeman dares to enter. The issue of armed herdsmen leaving their cattle in their small hamlets in the forest and coming out to rob people didnt start today. And as long as it is not tackled headlong, it will continue to grow and get worse. My only problem with this trend is the fact that so many people have chosen to ignorantly politicise it with 2015 election. |
9jakohai:Compared to other large airports around the world which have just one or two runways, what exactly is the air traffic at Nnamdi Azikiwe airport that makes so many people think the airport needs a second runway? Abuja airport does not need any second runway, rather it needs proper management and maintenance. |
Jelal0007:Hahaha... Chiaman shine ur eye well.. |
Keneking:I choose infrastructural development. |
Jelal0007:Huh? Hope you arent lost or misquoting? ![]() |
Lol.. e be like say na this omokri na him this election loss pain pass.. |
Nightshift:This sounds good, fingers crossed, a significant percentage of the road (or even 100%) would be completed in good time. |
jonuel1:Lol... the way in which people keep mentioning Amaechi and Fashola as the governors who asked to get their own share of ECA, one would begin to wonder whether these 2 men were the only governors in Nigeria. Or maybe they were the only ones who make up the governor's forum. I would also imagine all other 34 governors at the time were all asking GEJ to save, save and save!!! while Amaechi and Fash were busy shouting share, share and share!!! Meanwhile one also wonders why a FG could not save the 51% of the funds which was FG's share if it really wanted to save. Or maybe Amaechi and Fashola also appeared in a dream to GEJ and hypnotized him to share, spend and squander the 51% ![]() |
oc2fish:MAnaging the reserves and preventing it from dropping to zero and subjecting Nigeria to the Venezuelan situation. If the reserves had continued to fall at the rate it was falling in the last days of the last admin, the reserves would have dried up and the Naira which you complain is N500 today would have been tissue paper (possibly N2000 to $1) had our reserves dropped to the ground. Meanwhile all Nigerian rulers have been wicked, every thing you mentioned above have been recurring factors in every single Nigerian budget long before PMB. |
Pope22:All i'm trying to say is that every single administration at one point or the other have made attempts to work on these roads but all that amounts to nothing if a significant percentage of the job isn't completed. Glory shall only go to any admin that takes it serious and does a SUBSTANTIAL job. So far the current regime has started the usual gra-gra on the road, 2 years are still left to know whether they deserve praise or not. As for the people praising the last admin for fixing possibly insignificant portions of this road, that is absolute shameless nonsense because after that admin handed over, the onitsha-enugu road still remains one of the worst roads in Nigeria. |
Nightshift:When last did you pass through this road?... Is there really progress in the construction currently or is the report on this thread just political gimmick to deceive people? ... I would love to know the true story before commenting further. |
