venai:I said 'most' are ghost workers or just unserious employees and this is supported clearly by the statement of the union leaders. Never have i heard that workers are sacked and union leaders are supporting the decision or are vocally indifferent to it. Of course some minor offenders may have been affected and the union has vowed to speak on their behalf but kindly go back and read that report again and it would be clear to you that these ones make up only a minority of those retrenched. |
Doug07034780891:Who is the 'every media house'? The people who are irrationally against Rochas are mainly ipob faithfuls, other pro jonathanians, pro-PDP, anti-ApC and anti-buharists. Of course the list I just gave populate eastern Nigeria so it sounds like the true echo of the people. But the 2015 election results speaks volumes, who would have thought Rochas could win a single vote even after all the useless vituperations coming from confused emotional haters? Rochas may not be wonderful, he may be too boisterous, but by 'relative' standards, he isnt a terribly bad governor as most embittered folks online want to make the world believe. Just imagine people attacking the man for laying off ghost workers, does that make any sense to you? |
venai:When the LG union says it isn't going to fight for most of the sacked workers, that speak volumes. Oga 'anti-rochas', try to read and comprehend with your brain not your emotions. |
Abagworo:It's sad how we choose to deceive and allow ourselves to be deceived everyday. The media is truly like a two edged sword that can do and undo. |
The educational system in Nigeria truly produces wonderful things; how can one produce an automatic voice-over piece of trash as VIDEO EVIDENCE that Buhari made a statement?.. and then he strangely goes ahead to furnish us with the exact words of Buhari as seen below: “It is sad that the value of the naira has dropped to more than N230 to one dollar; this does not speak well for the nation’s economy,’’ he said. So @KingOfAmebo, kindly explain how you arrived at the interpretation of "I will make $1=N1" from the statement above because ayam not understanding? |
Toketimt:I ran away from the argument when he said the voice in the youtube video he posted was buhari's. ![]() |
Abagworo:I think this advice should go to the journalist who published the story (and the Op). |
Nwaonyeocha:Your idea of good leadership is for a governor to keep paying ghost workers right?.... The black man should really learn to read. Tufia! |
swagagolic01:Go back and read the report again and we shall know who is really the fool between you and the governor who sacked ghost workers. |
venai:People sacked are mainly ghost workers, go back and read the report. Except you are suggesting that 'not sacking' ghost workers is a worthy virtue of Obiano, else I'm not sure I understand how you consider this as a basis for dickk measurement between 2 governnors. |
Very commendable move! Obviously 90% of the people who jumped into the thread throwing insults did not read or are incapable of comprehending what they read in the report. |
mrikay:Oh... Lol... Okay, now i get what is going on. You actually just need brain cells not forensic voice detection equipment. ![]() |
mrikay:This are the kind of things that make me give up sometimes on arguing with strangers online especially on Nairaland. Firstly, did you read and comprehend the Vanguard report you posted above?... or did you just read the Title like so many others and the weird interpretation of the reporter? “It is sad that the value of the naira has dropped to more than N230 to one dollar; this does not speak well for the nation’s economy,’’ he said. The above is the exact statement of Buhari as reported in the story; every other thing in the report from the title to the first sentence is the interpretation of the writer on the statement above. Strangely, every other journalist present at the stadium reported it as it is except the Vanguard guy. I'm sure you did 'English Language' in school and understand 'English Comprehension'?... I'm also sure you understand the use of quotation marks to report the 'exact' statements of a person?.. Now can you justify your education by confirming to us how the quoted statement above can be interpreted as $1 = N1? Regarding the youtube video you posted, I would act like i didnt see that, because I want to assume you should know Buhari's voice. |
9jizzy:Is this your answer to the question? ![]() |

seguno2:Someone is trying to be smart by 'zero' here. A false story is reported about someone which spread like wildfire and swallowed by gullible plebs. The person accused denies the allegation and now your point exactly is what?... That a rebuttal shouldn't have been made since there wasn't evidence of the statement being made initially?... A false story which had already spread and is still being swallowed by gullible plebs till date? |
seguno2:Lol.. e don turn to school bag or sandals wey dem dey make for Owerri and Kano? Yet no one has a copy, not a single audio, not a single video, not a single recording with a phone, but yet the supposed statement was supposed to have been made in PUBLIC TWICE abii? Even the original reporter who reported it was smart enough to cover his tracks by putting it in the Title but preaching another story inside the body of the report. Of course he knew how daft too many Nigerians are, we most read titles and as long as it matches our putrid stance, that is the end. |
mapet:Vanguard actually reported the story but it was a dubiuos manipulation of the reporter; the Title said one thing and the content of the report said something totally different. But of course, because Nigeria is full of daftos and dullards, the story still reigns supreme till date. |
TPAND:In Kano?.. and you were there in a 'Buhari campaign'? I thought it was made in Owerri before?... hmm |
9jizzy:Out of curiosity, can you kindly show any sensible evidence that proves that Buhari actually said that during the campaigns? Or do you just choose to swallow the poo because you think it favours your stance? Even if you can't provide evidence, can you swear on your life that that promise was actually made by Buhari, and not just some silly journalist or blogger? We really need to know who the fool is here. |
MutantMetahuman:Point of correction, Nigeria is actually the poo itself which the ass hole expels. ![]() |
Fayose sef... ![]() |
sekundosekundo:Lol.. I don't hate no one bro... I just find their endless wailing quite irritating, especially when the people wailing loudest are the same set of miscreants that put us in our present mess. Just imagine a person like Reno criticising govt so loudly?.... And then imagine the kind of people that take him seriously?... For the very same set of people who ruined the nation to still shamelessly have a voice to criticise others, it tells you how messed up the country still is. |
Only a certain kind of people take Reno and FFK serious. |
woodcook:You mean the zombieism I learnt from your father?... Meanwhile only a zombie knows other zombies, and since zombies dont necessarily have functional brains, they tend to randomly think everyone else is a zombie. Go take your drugs bro... |
What kind of sick humans do we have fuelling this foolishness in this thread? ![]() |
NOETHNICITY:Satellite TV has Parental guidance settings, at least that is what is obtainable in the civilised world. Fortunately for us in Nigeria, the DSTV I know also has this option to set an AGE RESTRICTION to prevent your kids from watching unsuitable materials. You dont need to carry your TV on your head because you dont live in the 1930's. Only an irresponsible parent would default in his duties (to activate the age restrictions), and then go about to blame DSTV for his own irresponsibility. Then again, if you dont want to watch it at all yourself, then simply change the channel, there are options of over 50 other channels on DSTV, I wonder why people who have options are losing sleep over one station. Better still, you can request DSTV to block the channel to prevent it showing in your home completely, Yes! that's very possible and can be done with a 2mins phone call to the customer care centre in Lagos (i fit give you the number to call if you need am). One man's fish is another man's meat, it's a free world, live and let others live. If you don't want it and think it is stupid, the next person doesn't see it that way, so why must you impose your preferences forcefully on the next person?.. Na so extremism dey start. |
ephi123:Nope, you were the one who jumped in from nowhere making a clown of yourself by accusing me of being paid, remember?... that's certainly annoying, especially coming from someone you know should know better. |
ephi123:You mean the pains you inflicted? |
ephi123:Which ten kobo? the one you have since stopped receiving for your sycophantic support of the scums of this earth?... You think everyone swims in your ideology of receiving pittances for dishonorable things, so therefore you assume everyone who doesnt support what you support must be paid by the 'other party' right? Abeg move on! |
amebo101:Same ol nonsense vomit coming from valueless hypocrites talking about African values. What is the definition of African values? African values seem to be "the things we do and which we want the world to see." Cos whenever people do the things which we all do behind closed doors, we suddenly start hearing hypocritical statements like 'African values.' Besides, there are over 50 stations to watch on DSTV and a subscriber has the liberty to choose not to have the BBN station. But some people want to kill themselves on top a a single station which they have the freedom to ignore. |
