WTF!!! |
Sealeddeal:Abeg how did you come up with these abracadabra figures? |
richidinho:The only policy that seems to be working here is 'hunger'. |
From the foundation, the house looks massive... Congrats to the propaganda lord himself! |
Keneking:Wetin Peter Obi do una sef? |
ephi123:When simple English starts looking and sounding like big grammar to someone who I'm sure is highly enlightened, then I just know the person has resorted to wayo for lack of what to say. Enjoy the lovely day ![]() |
Keballl:At least you are honorable enough to accept that govt critics were also arrested during the regime of the saintly man... I wouldn't want to go into the long saddening details of what opposition politicians also went through under that regime, including the teargassing of even the No. 4 citizen of the country in the bid to lock he and his party members out and conduct a sham impeachment. If not for the embarrassing act of legislators defying teargas and jumping NASS gates, the story would have been differnet today. Meanwhile exactly the same scenario played out in Rivers with 5 HOA members using cultists to beat up and chase away other opposition HOA members. If not for the timely (though embarrassing) intervention of the governor, the sham would have been sealed. But it seems like your argument is now that 'Buhari is more tyrannical than GEJ.' Mr Man, just accept that politicians are all the same and Nigeria is yet to get a proper democracy because we still do not have a civil society. Quit all these your futile defence of the last regime trying to paint them as saints. When you and your colleagues begin to accept that the last regime was equally useless as the pack, then you would realise that no one would defend the present govt any more. |
While wouldn't bank profits rise when all they do is rip-off customers, round-trip forex and engage in other sharp unpatriotic practices? |
Keballl:I'm sure you are also in the category of those you mentioned above (bolded) because the last time I checked, the very crime you accuse Buhari of, GEJ your hero was also clearly guilty of same crime but you've been running around here like a headless chicken trying to defend/exonerate him from the blames even whilst you call for the crucifixion of buhari for the same offence. The last i checked, i never for once exonerated Buhari's govt of the crime of gagging press freedom so I am clearly not in the category of people you labelled above (bolded); all I have done here is expose the shameless hypocrisy of people like yourself who accuse buhari of the crime but still shamelessly turn around to defend GEJ for committing the exact same crime. Do you even have any single iota of self respect? |
ephi123:The focus will leave the last govt when the last govt and their supporters like yourself learn to stop throwing baseless hypocritical accusations. How dare you accuse someone of a crime yuo were also very much guilty of and then you expect the person to be quiet??/... The blame game is always started by you guys but when the response comes, you start crying that the present regime is all about blame. |
ephi123:I chose to stick to the subject, hence I didn't expend time responding to the 'pleb' comment. Secondly, you were the one who introduced 'Understanding English Language' into this simple political discussion by erroneously correcting my spellings. Again I would reiterate it, under normal circumstances, i would not be supporting or defending any Nigerian government especially when i know they are all mediocres. The only reason i still show solidarity to the present regime is because of people like you who have equally refused to acknowledge the shortcomings of the last admin but choose to paint them as saints and paint others as demons. Just imagine the nonsense going on in this thread?.... GEj claiming that no journalist was ever arrested under his rule and people actually jump in to glorify the falsehood as if we all suffer from amnesia. This was the same regime where opposition lawmakers (including the nation's speaker) were teargassed and locked out of the NASS simply because the speaker decamped and became opposition. The same GEJ's regime where a sitting governor was teargassed and locked out of the govt house and his office by policemen on orders from Abuja. How can I forget that 16 was greater than 19 or is it the case where all opposition executives were abducted and locked in hotel rooms or turned back on the road during state elections?.... Now some humans choose to erase these incidents and many more, including the raid of newspaper houses by soldiers and seizing of all printed newspapers, you expect Nigerians to forget these events while you crown him a saint but you expect us to also help you remember how the present dude is a tyrant? Newsflash: no one cares who won or lost the election. All we are asking is for the government to perform its basic duties rather than conveniently blaming the past. Nonsense. The last time I checked, it was the last govt and their supporters who started this particular blame game. Everything done here is just a RESPONSE to your accusations. When the head of the past govt says something like 'no journalist was arrested for criticising my govt', you don't need a soothsayer to explain to you that he was a clearly blaming/accusing the present govt. The shameful part of this blame however is that the last govt was actually guilty of this very same crime. |
Keballl:Lol.. this jonathanian is still pained over his loss, take heart bro. But be ye reminded that because you hypocritically make the loudest noise over an issue today, that doesn't mean the issue started today. Your hero who you paint as a saint also committed the exact same crime of tyranny which you wail about today (albeit quietly because no one bothered to wail as loud as you are hypocritically doing today). In your shameless hypocrisy, you inflicted yourself with selective amnesia and even with the evidence clearly dangled in your face, you now chose to feign ignorance or lack of comprehension. Bros park well! |
ephi123:While you think it is a dishonorable thing for me to defend the present regime, you actually think it is an honorable thing for you and your friends to glorify the last admin as saints no be so?... As long as the lads who glorified the last admin still continue to do so despite their glaring shortcomings, then it would be silly of anyone to expect me to start vilifying the present admin (which in reality isn't worse than the last). Before you proceed with your hypocritical sermon on the mount, I advise you to go read again to find out the origin of the argument you broke into. GEJ claimed no journalist was arrested during his regime for criticising government (as is the case today); this lie was simply busted with evidence. I see no reason why this discussion/argument should proceed beyond this point. Meanwhile, while you are also at it, be ye reminded that Nigeria was a British colony and we adopted the British (not American) English. The last time I checked, 'Mold' doesn't look like a English (UK) spelling; thanks anyway for your advise. |
Keballl:Just imagine the shameless character calling someone else a zombie? ![]() |
Keballl:My Man kindly sharrap there and stop disgracing yourself further... GEJ claimed no one went to prison for criticising him. Someone provided evidence proving that GEJ was lying by mentioning 2 cases of journalists who were detained during GEJ's regime. Ordinarily you should have simply ignored that very post like your colleagues on this thread have wisely done, but you chose to dance naked in public by coming up with a lame defence that the people arrested under GEJ were released later; of course even a child knows that those arrested would still be released later, even those arrested by Abacha were released, but obviously you have lost focus on what this thread is talking about. In simple terms, the message has already been passed and the hypocrisy exposed; journalists were also arrested and gagged under the watchful eyes of GEJ. |
Sirlovings:I am not insensitive to the plight of anyone one here, if you know where I'm from you will be shocked at why this should be coming from me. I'm just bored with the continuous lamentations especially in situations like this when I think it is unnecessary. Once again I will reiterate this but note that this is purely my opinion, the Mambilla dam is a long overdue project which has been on the drawing board for over 36 years, I would be very glad if that project comes to life (irrespective of where it is located). Also, the Lagos to Kano standard rail and the Calabar to Lagos standard rail are very important projects which have been in the books for over a very long time; I agree that the Calabar to LAgos rail passes only a single SE city, but then, I would be very glad if this projects are actualised. Maybe if they can be actualised, then the spur from Benin-Asaba-Onitsha-Awka-Enugu may also be completed one day. I understand that the SE has been unfairly marginalised by successive admins for decades, I understand the Onitsha-Enugu roads, the PH-Enugu roads, the PH-Owerri road have no reason being the disaster they are today, I understand the SE was terribly cheated by the PPP tolling arrangement on the 2nd Niger Bridge, ironically this evil was perpetrated by a supposed friend of the SE (GEJ), I remember lamenting this PPP arrangement on this forum sometime in 2014 when it was first announced but I was shouted down by some dumb persons who claimed I was just a GEJ hater and didn't want the SE zone to progress (a very foolish allegation from people who had no clue who I was). I am not a stranger to these acts of marginalisation to the SE and I suppose these are the kind of things we should lament about. But on this issue of actualising the Mambilla dam, the LAgos to Kano rail and the Calabar to Lagos rail, I totally have no qualms; this is my personal opinion though. |

The real shocking news here is that Nigerian military has been importing boots and other military kit for decades even though we could produce them locally. What's really wrong with this country? ![]() |
Keballl: Keballl:Here we go again... It's quite amusing how ignorance accuses others of ignorance. You claimed Danfulani was arrested and not released didnt you?.... But its on record that he was arrested in January 2016 and released within a week. WHat do you have to say about that? Okay from your post above, apparently he's been arrested again last week (10 months later) and definitely would be released again. Would be nice if in your infinite wisdom, you explain to poor ol' ignorant me, what you meant by you initial inference that people were arrested and never released?. ... or how exactly did you come to this conclusion that a man who was arrested last week wouldnt be released? By the way, Danfulani's is a case between the man and el rufai, so what exactly has that got to do with buhari or jonathan? |
Igboid:Shove ur opinion up ur back hole. |
Keballl:Which prison and for how long has he been in prison?... The last time I checked, Danfulani was released within a week. And this is the sort of nonsense you peddle amongst your gullible circle while you shamelessly refer to someone as ignorant? .... Did you even think it wise to do a google search before you came up with that lie up there? |
Igboid:You should concentrate on crying for your own life and leave mine alone. STick to your opinions and mentality while I stick to mine. ANd sorry if it pains you so much that an Igbo man has chosen not to tow your retrogressive line of thought. You are the shameless one who thinks everybody must think like you do in order to validate their origins, your opinion on my origin is as worthless as ass-wiped tissue paper. If it pains you so much that a person like me exists, you know exactly what to do to end your misery. GD night |
krendo:What if these were illegal structures?... We need investment but does that necessarily mean we must be lawless or follow no rules?... Must we be sentimental about everything?.. If the structures aren't illegal, they would surely be compensated, at least unlike the common man who can and may be oppressed and cheated, do you really think larger firms can be trampled upon? |
Igboid:I gave my opinion, if you aren't okay with it, piss off!!! (and you can keep crying for the rest of your life while you're at it since that's what gives you pleasure). |
Lol... Na wa oh!... has the delusion gotten to this?... The enemy of my enemy is now my friend?... I choose to doubt this report though. It's no news however that 95% of ipob followers are merely jonathanians of Igbo extraction who are still pissed with 2015 election outcome and Buhari is simply the bone of contention. Should Buhari drop dead today (God forbid), or if pdp takes over power, ipob would die a natural death. |
Igboid:If you had any iota of intellects in your skull, you would have at least attempted to embarrass yourself by telling me what I wrote was false; not the nonsense demonic talk you came up with there. |
Keballl:Did you just say the ones arrested under gEJ were released?.... Kindly point out the person who has been sent to prison and not released for criticising buhari?.... Why don't you just keep quiet and stop embarrasing yourself. |
omenka:Finally it's a bit difficult ignoring some of those meaningless posts. |
Igboid:I'm sure you are the demon possessing my mind?... Go get yourself some common sense bro.. |
Keballl:Firstly, the point made is simple, the sheer hypocrisy in ordering the arrest of journalists, confiscation of newspapers and others whilst coming out today to act a saint and deceive the world that you never did such has just been exposed by those reports posted. Oh yes, elrufai wasnt arrested doesnt mean other less influential opposition personalities (including journalists) werent arrested. What do you have to say about that? |
BankeSmalls:In words Yes! But in deeds, I am yet to see any clear manifestation of this hate except in terms of appointments (which in my personal opinion means absolutely nothing). I am not convinced by the excessively loud noise a lot of people have taken to since the very moment this admin took over; the louder outcry by people against this admin doesnt necessarily mean this admin has treated the zone any worse than previous admins had in the past. But that isnt even the issue here. |
MyParadise:My point was simple, there are obviously lots of areas where the SE has been marginalised for ages and is still being marginalised. But definitely not on these 4 listed infrastructural projects discussed on this thread, let's try and pay more attention to details in our arguments and agitations else it just portrays the whole group as noisemakers. |
