eyeview:Please dont you dare mention the name GEJ as God's intervention for Nigeria, what nonsense! You mean God's intervention to turn Nigeria to a financially failed/bankrupt state or what? ![]() |
Nigeria, always on the news for the wrong reasons. These people just keep embarrassing us and destroying the last drop of reputation we have internationally. |
Though it is rather insensitive of Buhari to 'openly' tilt his appointments in a certain obvious direction, it was never a bad decision to kick Jonathan out. SOmething I have noticed from experience is that, everyone's got a vice; everyone has a bad habit which could eventually bring them down. The insensitivity of PMB to the plight of the wailers would definitely bring him down. But that is not to say he isn't a million times a better option than the one he replaced. |
PvtParts: mytime24: JAMANZE:Lol... the black man and reading... if you want to hide a secret from the black man, just put it in a book. ![]() The story is talking about a committee headed by a potentially incompetent person, but their pre-configured minds have been diverted to the only direction they are configured to think. So probably, if it was a southerner, it would have been okay even if it was an incompetent one? |
Hahaha... This should only be a question for debate if the other candidate isnt GEJ.... If GEJ is involved, I would vote anyone apart from GEJ. Its nothing personal, but GEJ just represented the worst case scenario, he represented everything that could be wrong about a leader. Nothing could be more incompetent. |

Happiness87:Like I said, this is typically expected whenever power changes hands. It is an inevitable teething problem. |
Happiness87:2 things you need to know; 1. It's presently a global phenomenon 2. This is typically the case after a transition of leadership The travails of the NSE started even before the elections (very soon someone would blame PMB for crashing world oil prices too). Also, just in case you dont know, what we have in Nigeria now is a teething problem that must be faced whenever power changes hands; and we are actually talking of a transition to a totally different political party. |
If I had it in mind to execute a task, and people around me start threatening me that I MUST execute it, my natural reaction would typically be to dare the people. I hate being told what to do and I even hate it more when I am threatened. I strongly believe the 2nd Niger bridge would be built and commissioned before the end of 2017; so these senseless Igbo wailers should just shut-up for once and stop provoking this abokii... ![]() |
hinwazaka:(a) Corruption... Corruption breeds tyranny... and corruption hinders growth more than even the worst form of tyranny... We've actually had several cases of tyrants who picked their nations from the gutter and lifted their nations to greatness, e.g. our close neighbours Ghana. But never have I seen nor heard of any nation or kingdom soaked in corruption which grows into prosperity or greatness. But then again, there's no way we can have tyranny under our democracy. So please, wake up from your slumber. |
Lol... wailers! ![]() Just like termites, when you think they're finished, more just keep popping out of their anthills |
hinwazaka:The important question you should be asking is, what has Lamorde been doing with the position? (a) Nothing (b) Nothing (c) Nothing (d) Looting |
Niger-Delta Affairs - SCRAPPED! Hope this wouldn't lead to another rounds of wailings. |
Smooyis:And why do you think the president isn't aware of the filth in the EFCC?... |
Kaii... I give up on Nigeria... Even the EFCC which is supposed to investigate corrupt people is also stinkingly corrupt. Now all these probes PMB is organising, who will investigate the suspects? ![]() |
The report has not said anything. From the title, a lot of NIgerians in the usual manner will just read the title and start commenting on nothing. |
Built2last:The only reason why millions around the world still pay attention to his unprofessional website is because, more than any other investigative journalist in Nigeria, he has been able to unearth and expose quite a large number of strange stories which eventually turned out to be true. As a human being, he attaches a lot of emotions to his write-ups and uses foul language most times, but you cannot take it away from him that he has churned out more mind boggling true stories than all other media houses in Nigeria put together. And for anyone to think that Sowore is sponsored by tinubu or buhari or any other Nigerian politician, that is an absolutely flawed assumption; the dude seems to be a man of his own airing his own personal views most times. |
Chaiiii... This write up has ended Orubebe's career; Whoever wrote this must be very evil This is 'FATALITY' ![]() |
Nicepoker:If you examine the situation closely, you will understand what I was trying to point out. You will agree with me that GEJ actually did spend the same money on the niger-delta, but unfortunately, the money was spent in the wrong way because it was channelled to the pockets of politicians, chiefs, militant generals and other big men while the poor and general public remained poor. If the money spent on settling these already big men was channelled to micro developments, the impact of GEJ would have been felt all over the ND. Even the same big men who profited immensely from GEJ's indiscretions are now turning around to tell the vulnerable and gullible poor ones that it is hausa or yoruba that is the problem of the ND. Meanwhile we have people like Tompolo flying around in private jets today. Like I always said, the best thing GEJ could have done to develop the ND without much fuss would have been to appoint credible men (not politicians) to head the NDDC and niger-delta ministry. If Jonathan had appointed credible men to those ministries and put a close eye on the activities of the ministries, he wouldn't have needed to do anything else to get great results. Just today I was reading of an over N180billion missing fund in the NDDC; my brother, that is the problem. |
FOr head of EFCC, some cretins would still expect PMB to obey federal character ![]() Anyway, I cant be surprised by these cretins any more; after all they also complained when Buhari appointed an hausa man as his personal ADC ![]() |
Leopardd:Human beings are natural opportunists; these guys all saw the flaws in GEJ's leadership but kept quiet and supported him because it favoured them. You can't really blame Boyloaf or the rest of the 'big-men' for keeping quiet and speaking up now. I am yet to see a normal man who when they put honey in his mouth, would spit it out. |
Leopardd:That Boyloaf was a careless or irresponsible spender who also gained immensely from GEJ's indiscretions, that does not change the fact that he has just spoken the absolute truth. GEJ was the president and he ought to have applied some wisdom in dealing with the Niger-Deltans. Instead GEJ went ahead splurging billions on big-men, politicians and militants while the poor people in the Niger-Delta continued to remain poor. The poor in the niger-delta continued to support GEJ based on the fact that he was their son whom would help them but the question I ask is, apart from the already rich and influential, who did GEJ help in the niger-delta? Some months back it was reported that JTF donated a bore-hole to GEJ's mother's community, just recently it was reported that GEJ's very own community 'Otuoke' lacked potable water. The dualisation of the east-west road which was started since OBJ's time, due to one corrupt scandal or the other, this very highway which is the only road that links Bayelsa to the rest of Nigeria could not be completed even by a ND president. So please, how can you tell me that Gen Boyloaf is wrong in his assertions? |
Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tqq67csbN2w&feature=youtu.be The man has just said the absolute truth. Jonathan's approach of 'settling' the Niger-Deltans by giving billions to 'big men' and politicians while the poor kept getting poorer, that was a very wrong approach. Only a person senselessly blinded by ethnicity/tribalism wouldn't see how Jonathan was a waste of 'presidential slot' for Niger-Deltans. |
Of course the man has said the absolute truth. |
Demented fellows on the loose all over the place... God pass una! |
Iamsynord:Haha.. I thought I was ghe only one who even saw that. The man must have been struggling with the decision. |
Too bad for our already battered image... |
DaBullIT:The official interbank rate for the USD has never gone above N199 even when the black market rate rose to almost N250. The wide gap is what the govt and CBN has been trying to fix in the last weeks. |
anthony86:Sometimes I wonder if some of you are actually joking when you make these kind of comments or whether you are for real. ![]() |
dialfa:I wasnt talking to you. |
PassingShot:Very serious headache ![]() Not a single probe has commenced yet these lovers and defenders of thieves are about to die of cardiac arrest; even before the probes starts, they are already 99% sure that their heroes must be guilty, that is the only explanation for all these oppositions and protests against probes. |
