So because a person is pregnant, it is not possible for the person to be in illegal possession of firearms?
So because a person is a cripplie, it is automatically impossible for the person to be a criminal accomplice?

Every single arrest made by the police or military in the SS/SE is now viewed automatically as 'Buhari attack.' Very soon, you guys would call for the police to open the gates of all prisons in the SS and SE because your brains are gradually being configured to assume every arrest, including an arrest of a crippled suspect in a village is politically motivated.

Senate: Nigeria to Run 2015 Budget in Deficit

15 Jan 2015

... Leading debate on the bill, Senate Leader, Victor Ndoma-Egba, said the budget of N4.357 trillion comprised N2.6 trillion as recurrent expenditure, N627 billion capital expenditure, N943 billion for debt service and N411 billion for statutory transfers.

He also said the document was predicated on $65 oil benchmark, projected oil production of 2.2782 million barrels per day and an exchange rate of N165 to $1.
Ndoma-Egba said the budget would focus on job creation through increasing economic diversification and leakages, roads, power, gas and aviation.

... While recalling that the capital expenditure contained in the 2014 budget was N1.4 trillion when compared with N627 billion in the current estimates, Makarfi described the estimates as "austerity budget" and insisted that the current economic downturn is a wake-up call on Nigeria to stop relying on oil "which is highly volatile and look for other areas of getting money."

....The benchmark for 2014 budget was $77.50 per barrel but oil sold for over $118 per barrel. Where is the excess crude share of the federal government? We are guilty because I raised an alarm that money from the excess crude account should not be expended without the consent of the National Assembly.

Again, FG Cuts 2015 Capital Spending as Oil Price Slump Bites

05 Feb 2015

.. The document, seen by Reuters, puts capital expenditure at N387 billion or 8.9 per cent of total spending of N4.357 trillion.

This is a significant drop from the 2014 spending plans, when capital expenditure (capex) accounted for 23.7 per cent of projected government outlays.
One industry source said Ministry of Works disbursements for a major highway were less than 3 per cent of the project’s value.

“At this rate it will take 33 years to complete,” the source said.

... The same source put layoffs nationwide at 20,000, while another said at least 5,000 had been let go in the Abuja area alone, a worry for President Jonathan ahead of the election, when he faces an opponent accusing him of squandering revenues from high oil prices over the previous three years.

Onolememen lamented that in view of the lean allocation for the Ministry in the 2015 Budget, that out of the Ministry’s portfolio of about 210 ongoing road and bridge projects, only 33 have been provided for and the provisions are insufficient to encourage the contractors to sustain appreciable progress of works on site

Senators were shocked on Monday when the Minister of Works, Mike Onolememen, revealed that there is no provision for bad roads in the 2015 Budget proposal.

The Minister made this known while defending the Federal Road Maintenance Agency budget before the Senate Committee on Works.
Onolememen said FERMA will get zero allocation for its capital votes in the 2015 budget proposal.
According to the Minister: “Aside the ministry’s capital budget proposal slashed from the projected N100 billion to just N11 billion by the Ministry of Finance in view of economic realities on ground, zero allocations were made for capital projects of FERMA and office of Surveyor-General of the Federation.”
Onolememen lamented that in view of the lean allocation for the Ministry in the 2015 Budget, that out of the Ministry’s portfolio of about 210 ongoing road and bridge projects, only 33 have been provided for and the provisions are insufficient to encourage the contractors to sustain appreciable progress of works on site.

This is what I have been saying for a week now.

Buhari is not adhering to the 2015 budget that was duly approved and passed by the last National Assembly.

If Buhari feels the budget is not in tandem with his policy drive then he should seek for budget amendment and or supplementary budget.

To make Matters worse, Buhari on the other hand continues to bennefit from revenue derivations set on the premise of the last budget.

Buhari is not following up on the budget neither is he even rolling out any new project, so what exactly is Buhari doing with the revenue being generated?

This man will destroy this country.
I felt very depressed reading through all the misleading front page comments including yours. Why are people so ignorant and quick to pass blame politically?....

The budget you talk about, did you see the so called budget prepared (by GEJ) for 2015?

Do you know how much was budgetted for the ministry of works for 2015?

Were any of those projects mentioned in the report funded in the 2015 budget?

I knew it would certainly get to this, I knew everyone would quickly forget the 2015 budget structure so easily and then pass the blame accross.

Bro, in the run up to 2015, Nigeria was run to the ground financially and the 2015 budget was a joke; over 90% recurrent and less than 10% for capital.

1. There was no plan in place to fund any of those mentioned projects in the 2015 budget.
2. Those projects were not paid for by the last administration,
3. There is even no money left in the reserves to pay for those projects
4. It is only an ignorant mind that would accuse the present administration of not paying the contractors because even GEJ did not have any plans to pay for those projects this year.

However, in those five years, you committed a lot of energy calling President GEJ "clueless". You and your friends resolved to vote him out on the election day.

When the d-day finally came, you all voted out GEJ, not minding who was going to replace him since, according to you, a

In fact you even preferred a goat to GEJ.

Finally, you got your wish and GEJ is out and the body language president came in.

In January 2012 when GEJ removed fuel subsidy because that is the main source where Nigerian govt loose money from, because of you people's ignorance, what did you people do? You took to the streets.
PMB said that it was a shameful act by GEJ to solicit for help from countries like Chad, Cameroun to fight book haram. The first thing Buhari did was to travel to the same country for help to fight Book haram.
There are so many I have to say but no need. A govt of lies and propagander will always fail.
Stop deceiving yourself because of hate; put away the hate and bitterness in your heart for a second and think. Regarding subsidy, the requests of Nigerians were simple, the government should have gone after the few people (cabal) that stole over 75% of the subsidy funds before asking Nigerians to tighten their belts with an over 120% increase in fuel prices. In 2007, OBJ paid N188bn for subsidy but in 2010, GEJ paid N2.13Trillion for the same subsidy. Simple investigations revealed that almost 75% of that amount was cornered by the subsidy cabal but instead of going after the cabal that made the subsidy payments inefficient, the FG decided to cancel the subsidy completely and punish Nigerians. Let us apply some common sense and not political or ethnic sense here, how can the government tell suffering Nigerians that because they were too scared to go after a few of their friends, the entire Nigerian population should suffer?... I'm sure you were even also involved in that protest because at that time, Nigerians were not divided into the APC vs PDP mess; at that time only common sense was at play.

As for Bokoharam, Buhari has gone to neighboring countries to seek their cooperation in only 'blocking their borders' and preventing BH guys and weapons from moving in and out freely. Buhari is not asking or permitting camerounian or chadian soldiers to enter into Nigerian soil to fight BH or help us liberate any captured towns just the way it happened in the past regime. There is a very clear difference between both situations and I expect you as a reasonable person to understand the simple difference (just in case you weren't aware before now).

Oh yes... they keep trying to force Nigeria through every means possible to devalue the Naira. And mumu people here keep getting excited because they feel it is a justification for their hatred for buhari. What these mumu people fail to admit is that the problem started from January under the maladministration of their hero.

With the fall in oil prices, darker days may be ahead for Nigeria and this has nothing to do with buhari or Jonathan. But on the flip side, if only GEJ saved some money in the SWF or ECA when the oil prices where sky high, Nigeria would have had enough funds to balance this economic crunch.

Bro, stop lying to yourself; it's a terrible form of self hurt.

Jonathan was believed and trusted by a large population of Nigerians to be a messiah. Apart from the population of northerners who voted buhari, most of the people who voted buhari from the southern axis in 2015 were actually very vocal supporters of GEJ in 2010 and 2011 and beyond. It was after a loong series of flops that GEJ started to lose supporters and that was probably after at least 2-3 years of his maladministration.

Only a silly person would judge an administration from its first week in office, it only makes you sound like a bitter, frustrated and prejudiced soul whose opinions should not be taken seriously.

As for the topic, Buhari may not be a messiah, but nothing on earth could be worse than GEJ's incompetence. I will never stop thanking God for removing GEJ and saving our nation from destruction. Buhari's only crime presently is his delay in appointing ministers, but that would be sorted before this month runs out.

Can you kindly shut up and shove that your silly opinion up your asss.

THe present situation we find ourselves today is due to 2 things;
1. Sudden crash in oil prices
2. The indiscretions, incompetence and diabolic corruption of the past administration.

We had an administration which could not save a dime even though for its 5 years, the nation enjoyed unprecedented economic boom with average oil prices constantly above $100/barrel. The indiscretions of the past government by not saving for the rainy day led to this mess. The nation was already in an economic nosedive into oblivion and the new administration took over midway.

How do you classify a government that consistently had a budget surplus for 5 consistent years, yet the world oil prices crash and within 2 months, Nigeria had to officially devalue its currency and even the FG had to borrow to pay workers salary?.... The effect of devaluing the naira in December led to a free fall of the naira to over N250 to a dollar until the new government had to implement draconian measures to checkmate the free fall. We talking of a government that met foreign currency reserves to the tune of over $60billion but left less than $29billion on their exit even at a time we had the biggest economic boom in Nigeria's history.... and some homo-sapiens still think that was progress.

If you had an iota of common sense in your head, you would know who and which government is culpable for the mess we find ourselves in. God simply saved Nigeria from plunging into a catastrophic economic mess like what we have in nations like north korea, greece, zimbabwe and somalia. Yet some twerps like yourself who supported the last diabolically incompetent and plainly wicked administration are here trying to pass the blame to a man who has come in to clean the mess. You no get shame
Shame about what exactly?

The reason behind the poor economic season is obvious but only shameless people choose to act like they dont know the reason. Whenever a new government takes over, there is almost certainly an economic lull in the intervening transition period.

Two other factors to be noted is that we aren't just having a normal transition but rather, an unprecedented transition from one party to another. Also, the new government has come in midway when the country was experiencing an economic nosedive into oblivion occasioned by the sudden crash in oil prices and the indiscretions of the last administration.

Obviously, I am not denying the fact that the delay in constituting an economic team and appointment of all other ministers has further aggravated an already bad situation; but on that, I am cautiously being patient with the new administration as the president has since explained his reasons behind the delays.

Only a prejudiced mind would judge an administration of 4 years based on its first 3 months, as a matter of fact, the people judging this administration today actually passed their judgements even from the first 2 weeks. So tell me, why should any right thinking human take the opinions of such minions seriously?

I maintain that it is too early to conclude that oshiomole is a fool who wakes up to blab imaginary figures. No doubt, the FG says 14bn only has been paid so far for the bridge, but oshiomole insists that in his committees investigations, they have come across details of much more withrawals under the claim of the same bridge. Same agreement reached with Lagos Ibadan express way, please allow east to worry about it , tell Tinubu to scrap two toll gates in 1 local government in Lagos state
So because fashola put a toll gate in lagos, does that mean it is a right thing that should be replicated in the east?... Wake up from your slumber, not every issue should be approached from the angle of politics.

Thank God the bridge is eventually being built... But forcing south-easterners to pay for the only federal project in the zone is nothing but man's inhumanity to man. In the end, after begging successive federal governments for this bridge for decades, the bridge is finally being built, but sadly by the south-easterners themselves (and not the FG).

Anyone who thinks this bridge is a gift from GEJ's FG must be a capital dumbo.

Put your sense to work bro... Adams may be a politician but he's not an iddiot to make a claim of which after the backlash, he still returned to insist on his earlier words. Someone somewhere must have done something fishy and covered up the crime under the guise of '2nd Niger bridge.' If Adams was a total iddiot in the manner he's being painted today, he wouldn't have risen to the level he has attained in his life.

Anyway, as a likely wailer, why should I even expect any of you to use your brains? undecided lipsrsealed
