This is what I call a Tsunami!.... but thank God for card readers; in 2011 the total votes for Jonathan in Abia alone was well over a million. Now we have only 368, 303. Once again, thank God for whoever introduced the idea of card readers. We are waiting patiently for Imo, Rivers and Delta. |
Ahuitzotl:Oh right.. ensuring people were displaced in the northeast was certainly a political plan of some devils like yourself in the PDP to gain political advantage in the elections. But be ye informed, no matter who/what those innocent victims serve, God created them all, and God does not sleep nor slumber. The general election result shall be announced later today, and God cannot be mocked. |
Unemadu:That's exactly what I'm saying. The SS/SE had a ridiculously high turn out of up to 99% in previous elections because of RIGGING and RIGGING alone. Reports have it that the north has a turnout of 50% while the SW has turnout of 45%. With the abandonment of card readers halfway into the election and the unusually prolonged delay in releasing elections in the SE/SS, it only means one thing; the PDP is performing midnight wonders and the turnout would be similar to 2011 with 99% votes going to PDP. God help us! |
sincerenigerian:I'm afraid if they claim a 95% turnout in the SE/SS, there's hardly anything INEC would be able to do except there's something I dont know. The use of card readers was abandoned half way and that is the perfect excuse/cover-up the PDP needs to rig massively like in 2011 even if the results look ridiculous. |
I must confess, the silence of the SS and SE in the result collation is too deafening. I never expected the PDP to go down without a fight, even if it's a very dirty fight. I wouldn't be surprised if there's a 95% voters turnout in the SE & SS and I also wouldnt be surprised if the PDP takes 97% of the votes in these 2 regions. The PDP is very desperate right now and are ready to do and undo. |
sirjohnson:What's the difference? |
Na wa!.. how can 'non-Nigerians' be protesting about the conduct of Nigerian elections in London? ![]() |
feldido:But is this not senseless dictatorship? ... Must Amaechi be on the side of the president?... Why do we always behave like animals in Africa?.... It is even more annoying that a lot of ordinary Nigerians sympathetic to the president actually support and glorify this barbarism. Just imagine, a police DPO was seriously brutalised because he escorted one of Amaechi's commissioners to the polling unit and some Nigerians dont see anything wrong in this? |
Why is the presidency so concerned about Rivers State?... What is so special about Rivers state that the presidency so badly wants to hijack the elections? Under a free and peaceful election, the PDP still has Rivers state so why is the PDP recklessly and violently subverting the electoral process in Rivers? ![]() |
GEJ seems to be sounding very presidential today. From asking peopld to be patient with the card readers and also calming the people regarding the purported enugu blast. GEJ will receive my respect when he eventually bows humbly and respectfully back to his village after May 29th (2015) |
Every single violence in Rivers state is orchestrated by PDP thugs under the orders and protection of Patience Jonathan. I dont just understand why the presidency would be so careless and wicked in their desperation to claim Rivers State. Militants are all over Portharcourt right now shooting sporadically and snatching ballot boxes from polling unit to polling unit while military men and the police provide security for the thugs. Since the run-off to the elections, the APC campaign teams have been attacked countless times and all this is because the presidency wants to teach Amaechi a lesson. God help us from diabolic minded leaders. |
This is the exact reason why the north will always be politically ahead of southern Nigeria. They know how to respond to political calls and they come out enmass to vote. Just imagine such an old woman coming out to vote meanwhile several of my young friends in the south say the sun is too much. ![]() I have spoken with several friends and relatives in the south and 90% of the people I spoke with are not voting for various flimsy reasons such as, registering far away from thier homes, no PVC, too tired to stand under the sun, claims that they heard gunshots 2 days ago so therefore on a self imposed curfew or outrightly not interested in the elections (because they believe pdp must win irrespective). |
Niger State?... I thought some people said it was only in the south that Jega didnt deliver PVCs? |
Flets:APC supported attacks indeed... Anybody with common sense knows who stands to profit and who stands to lose if voters don't turn out in the northeast |
Flets:Meanwhile PDP is fronting as Bokoharam and shooting people at polling stations in the northeast to scare and prevent a massive turnout for GMB. https://www.nairaland.com/2222644/boko-haram-attacks-gombe-polling |

fallout87:And how are you so sure there are no problems/delays/malfunctions in the north?... How can you base your judgement on a single side of the story?... Have you picked up your phone and called someone in the north who says things are going smoothly there? You should understand that most of the people on Nairaland are mainly southerners, hence you are bound to hear only the news from the south. |
The Jagaban Jab!... Sounds like a move in Tekken ![]() |

Incoming and outgoing Nigerian Presidents... God bless them both! |
dukie25:Stop propagating falsehoods created in your head. In 2011, Buhari denounced the riots the next day after the riots started on bbc. But of course political sentiments gives people selective memory. If Buhari loses, northerners would go on rampage and if Gej wins, his boys in the creeks will do same. There is hardly anything buhari nor jona can announce to their supporters that would stop the rampage.Responsibility to check the rampage lies in the hands of our security agencies |
Lol... The General has only 1 vote. If they like they can even lock him up... Nigerians have decided. GMB/PYO 2015 |

And u think it is buhari that asks his supporters to go an riot? |

He knows the seat of the presidency is too hot for his gentle personality and something in me tells me he wants to just run back to his village and rest. But strong forces surrounding him (including his wife) have placed him under duress to do what he is doing today. Nigerians who claim to truly love this man should through their votes tomorrow, just allow him retire peacefully to his village on May 29th 2015. |
If everyond goes home after voting, who will monitor the counting process? |
All I can see is a young man posing for pictures. If there was truly any tangible work going on, I'm sure the pictures would have flooded the internet and social media in Nigeria. Op stop deceiving yourself and trying to deceive people in the process. The only people who would believe this scam are people who have already vowed to vote GEJ. |
Cabudo rejectamenta! Can you imagine a president claiming that he underestimated the terrorist and thats why they were able to kill 15,000 people... ![]() In sane countries, the president would have resigned for failing the people but instead in our jungle, he's begging to continue. ![]() |
All these peace accords signed by electoral candidates are useless in my opinion. These candidates are not in control of their supporters and wouldnt be able to stop the supporters should they resort to violence. |
IdiAmin1:Bros Idi abeg why would thunder fire my mouth? |
May this election just come and go please... The PDP and the FG understands fully well that millions of Nigerians are stark illiterates (even the so called certificate wielding graduates are stark illiterates), that is the only reason why a documentary like this could be created. Even a partially enlightened person who watches this video would instantly understand that the video indicts the Nigerian govt and not the law firm. The FG hires a law firm to represent it in a case, the law firm does the job and at the prompting of the FG, an out of court settlement is reached with Pfizer in which the victims get $35million compensation, the Kano state govt gets $75million dollars and the law firm (of which Osinbajo is a principal partner) is paid its legal fees of $10million. Now the problem is, why did the Nigerian govt through its lawyers push for an out of court settlement which resulted in Pfizer paying much less compensation than the $7billion which was originally demanded?.... Any individual who is slightly enlightened can deduce from this that the Nigerian govt compromised the case (probably after some bribes). The law firm simply did what it was paid to do and left the scene and this case is a total indictment of the FG and the Attorney General's office. What I have just deduced from this 15mins documentary is that Prof Osinbajo is a very successful lawyer. |
