Haha.... Thank God for the final emergence of an 'opposition' in Nigerian politics. Now Nigerians are beginning to smell the real benefits of a democracy. The things GEJ and PDP took for granted and couldn't do in 5 years, they are now scrambling to do and complete within this 6 weeks borrowed time. Imagine bokoharam that they Up till early this year, the PDP still didn't appreciate the magnitude of the opposition they had in APC. They continued to downplay the formidability of the opposition thinking they could still do the business-as-usual of deceiving Nigerians and buying votes whenever elections drew close. But upon seeing the way the tide flowed during the campaign rounds, their eye don finally sharpen ![]() How I wish the PDP would just lose this elections; it would be the true birth of our democracy if an incumbent president can be voted out. If PDP is the opposition, the APC would be on their toes and would have no other option than to perform because PDP would be a very ferocious opposition. The winner at the end shall be the common man, Halleluia! |
The silliness of PDP and their supporters on display again!.. Don't you guys ever give up? While there are a lot of burning issues to be discussed, PDP and their supporters seem to be accursed with the lowest category of brains hence they cling to the most ridiculous non-issues irrespective of whether the issues are true or not... And of course because many Nigerians place sentiments ahead of common sense, a lot of people fall for these senseless, petty and deceitful campaigns of calumny. THey see a picture of Osinbajo engaged in rigorous grassroot campaigning at a village. Firstly they say an old wretched man is his father. When that foolishness was busted, they are now claiming the old man is Osinbajo's brother. What sort of buffoonery is this?.. Is this the best the PDP can come up with in the name of campaign?... I really thank GOd for the emergency of an opposition in Nigeria's politics as it has now exposed the pettiness and low IQ of the good-for-nothing thieves ruling us. Meanwhile, for any Jonathanian still with an iota of common sense, here's a picture of late Pa Osinbajo and his sons.

Buhari giving the PDPians cardiac arrest since 1960. I wouldn't be surprised if the Buhari whom these 'lovers of thieves' claim is sick will actually live much longer than most of these silly PDPians. @GuardianNewsUSA... is www.guardiannewsusa.com suppose to be a PDP counterfeit of the original www.theguardian.com/us-news ?... or is it just a Nigerian version? Why does a Nigerian newspaper have 'USA' in its name if not to deceive people that they are a reputable foreign platform? The more these silly PDPians and GEJites keep focussing on trying to pull Buhari down, the more the General keeps gathering followers. All the PDPians behind this false thread ought to be ashamed of themselves, inclusive of the dubious Nairaland MOD who quickly placed this crap on the frontpage (even after the thread on the livestream of the event) to deceive people. TWitter session indeed! |
What kind of silly blog is http://nigeriasrenaissance.com ? Showcasing the warped imagination of a jobless dolt who couldn't even construct proper English but trying to spread falsehood. If Mr Lai truly said this, the Nigerian media would have been on fire by now but since yesterday, why is it only this mumu blog that has the news? http://nigeriasrenaissance.com/index.php/news/general/item/50171-fg-should-listen-to-the-ceasefire-call-by-boko-haram-lai-mohammed |
A lot of Nigerians have no idea what the FOI bill is really all about. They consider the social media boom as FOI and end up crediting the govt for the boom. |
The idea behind this thread, very typical character of a mumu; jumping at every opportunity to justify the stuupidity our useless leaders. |
Is it just me or does anyone else think this picture doesn't look Nigerian?... It looks like a middle-eastern city ![]() |
Okay if an interview was conducted in Abuja and some people mistakenly thought it was in London (GMB was in London when the picture was released), how is that suppose to be a crime? Did Buhari or APC officially come out to tell anyone that the interview was conducted in London? How does this issue put food or take food away from the starving unemployed man on the streets? How does this news reduce the stinking corruption going on in government circles? How does this news pay the civil servants and pensioners being owed by government? How has this now become a political point for the PDP? What is even wrong with these PDP entities who in their mad desperation, keep dwelling on irrelevance and pettiness? |
LRNZH:There is certainly no smoke without fire. Winning the election is very high priority right now for PDP and any strategy could be welcome at this time 1. Elections are postponed for the military to crush bokoharam in 6 weeks. 2. Shekau starts appealing to northerners not to vote in the elections (hmmm... I wonder who would it would favour if the north doesnt vote?) 3. Bokoharam starts sharing printed flyers in some northern cities advising people not to participate in the elections... hmmm 4. GEJ promises Nigerians that he would capture Shekau ALIVE 5. Rumours now making the rounds is that Shekau has been captured There's hardly any smoke without fire. It would be silly to completely ignore this conspiracy theory. |
For all those who feel the photo looks photoshopped...

Seun:I 2nd and third the bolded. There's no big deal if he travelled for health checks. An old man after the rigorous campaign rounds would need to get himself checked. That notwithstanding, even if he bows out along the way, he's got an able bodied, highly educated and intelligent deputy who can pilot the affairs of the country in his stead. So I see no big deal about the health scare. |
Further high blood pressure for the Jonathanians, GEJites, PDPians, TANoids, TANdroids and all the other agents of stagnation who pray fervently for the lootocratic status-quo to remain forever in Nigeria just to satisfy their diabolic greed. |
The number of direct and indirect jobs created through the boom in the telecommunications industry alone under OBJ is enough to close this thread. Then we also remember the boom in the banking industry, there was never a weekend we wouldn't run out with our CVs in envelops to gatecrash banking aptitude tests. In all, the banks were recruiting massively during OBJ's regime. Nigeria for the first time had a 'middle class' during OBJ's reign. It would be an unfair disservice to Jonathan and an insult to OBJ to compare both regimes in terms of employment. |
"...but let me assure Nigerian youths that we are going to create jobs, we are going to create UNEMPLOYMENT..." - GEJ (PhD), 2015 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a6ilahypAhI A picture is worth a thousand words and a video is worth more than a thousand pictures. You can't really blame GEJ, after all in his own words he promised to create UNEMPLOYMENT. |
Even if Shekau is captured alive, he would be killed before he's allowed to go to trial because if he decides to confess what he truly knows, very important personalities within the PDP and APC and even foreign governments would be implicated greatly. Ot would be very messy and could lead to an all out war in Nigeria. I seriously doubt the powes that be would allow shekau to be tried alive. |
All these silly Jonathanians, why cant you guys just wait till Thursday or whenever Buhari returns before you open all these silly threads? Okay evrn if hee doesnt speak at Chatham gouse and so what?... we should then re-elect the clueless one? |
omoreporter:Okay, Buhari isn't feeling fine. A man of his age especially after the travelling rigours of the campaigns may need a health checkup, so what is the problem with that? Since when has it become a mortal sin for someone to even be unwell? Buhari is sick! Buhari is sick!.. so what do you want me to do?... re-elect a Jonathan who cant even make sound decisions even when he's healthy? |
You would have typically expected the tout called Fayose to be ashamed of himself now but man has proven himself to be an irredeemable dolt. Fayose is the only PDP governor who is carrying the Buhari matter on his head, albeit in a senseless way. All other PDP governors are busy governing their states and playing the underground politics for their party whereas we cant say same about Fayose. After Fayose's wierd actions following his inauguration, I assumed he was only acting like a clown just to win admiration or gain publicity but I was so so wrong. Borrowing the words of Hon Obahiagbon, "Fayose may talk stuupid and may act stuupid, but dont let that fool you, he is really stuupid." |
Soldiers are going AWOL, meanwhile appliications are already ongoing for their replacement... Because of unemployment and poverty, a lot will still apply. Hope the military glory willbe restored after the change in C-in-C in 3 months. |
championeh: ![]() What else do you expect of a governor who consecutively won THE BEST GOVERNOR (from the bottom) award for several years? ..and Abia is even an oil producing state.. That he comes up to even speak on TV, you will just ask yourself, "how can people be so shameless?" |
obinalihe:Did I just hear the cretin say the word CONTINUE? Does he wish the people of Abia so much pain that he intends his successor to CONTINUE his shameless misrule? ![]() |
Jeez! This is preposterous! I've always known TA Orji (Ochendo) to be the worst governor in the country but Oh my God! I really really underestimated his uselessness. This man truly gives a new definition to the word 'useless.' In 2015, a governor is giving out 30 pieces of 1998 model Nissan Primeras to youths for elections? |
Demmzy15:lol... bro, I personally dont think any Nigerian (or even African) leader deserves a 2nd term. 4 years is enough for any reasonable person to make his mark and leave or hand over to a well groomed and trusted protégé . However, if the person's performance is exceptionally brilliant, then we can consider an extension. But until then for me, it is Sai Buhari 2015-2019! |
A man who was RUSHED out of the country this morning for urgent medical attention is seen STANDING TALL (not even sitting) while waiting at the airport. As the days go bye, this man continues to give more and more high blood pressure to those diabolic "lovers of corruption" and their unsuspecting victims whom they have successfully deceived across Nigeria ![]() God willing and very soon, the typical Nigerian government's "business as usual" must be stopped; the lack of accountability and gross impunity in Nigerian leadership MUST be stopped. Sai Buhari!!! 2015 - 2019 MODIFIED: More pics of the supposedly 'sick' man emerges while he takes a casual stroll along the concrete streets of London. The GEJites must be really troubled by this ![]() www.nairaland.com/attachments/2143314_ali_jpeg58153213daef17ed103b7bc8e22a5195 |

dein77:There is no government without both good and bad people, in fact, in every complex society, you need the services of both the saints and the sinners. If we wait for the day when we would have a political group comprising of only saints, that day will never come even in a thousand years. In every gathering of people, be it political or social, what matters most is the ability of the person at the top to be unwavering and stick to his convictions and vision without succumbing to the will of the thieves around him. I do not see a person like Buhari succumbing to the demand of the thieves or joining them to plunder the treasury; Buhari has proven not to be of such fabric. Another typical example of such was Prof Dora Akunyili of blessed memory. When she was appointed to head NAFDAC, she did not have to sack all the workers she met at the organisation. Remember these were the same corrupt people who enriched themselves earlier and made sure nothing worked. It only took a strong will and uncompromising stance from Dora to sanitise the same organisation. Finally, just like someone mentioned above, even Jesus Christ had to wine and dine with tax collectors, thieves and betrayers, but that did not prevent him from fulfilling his divine mission. |
dein77:If INEC announces GMB the winner of the election, such shocking news alone has the capacity to deter some lily livered thieves. Without doing anything, a Buhari masquerade in Aso Rock is enough to deter some other intending thieves from dipping their hands into public coffers. Finally, GMB doesnt need to even arrest old thieves (that would be too distracting), he can only stop people in the government at the time from looting further. I am sure his 'WILL' to end corruption alone is capable of REDUCING (not eliminate cos that's impossible) the corruption indices in Nigeria |
themano:Everyone has a right to choose who they respect and who they dont. There are only a microscopic few Nigerian politicians that deserve respect and Jonathan is definitely not one of them. GEJ is not the first president to be insulted in Nigeria or beyond and he will definitely not be the last. Also, Nigeria isn't the only country in the world where some people do not think their leader deserves respect. |
