Princedapace: U guys should stop this play play. Tunisia happened to be in their worse form ever! They were so terrible. They were lucky to qualify.
Algeria is currently the best in form team at the tournament. Everyone knows this..
Super ealges would av been eliminated if they had met a formidable team before the semi final.
Algeria was the only formidable team super eagles played.
On that semi final day, Algeria created up to five clear chances to score. Just that their attack lacked finishing that very night. This has nothing to do with jersey.
Tunisia is the most disappointing team at the tournament and what happened to them is mainly coach's application of players. They were the second best ranked team going into the tournament. I just dont know what happened to their players and coach. They have been terrible in scoring. In fact, scoring and defending, they av been terrible.
Algeria out played super eagles becus Algeria is currently the hottest team now. I dont see senegal beating them. They are too good. All Algeria needs to do is to sharpen their attack to take on their chances and score, with that, they can take any global team. Their four players upfront are headaches to defenders and the coach knows how to apply them very well. You made some good points but don't get it twisted: Algeria is not that good. They are only more tactically disciplined and have one world class player in Mahrez. Even with him, if we had fielded a goalkeeper like Ezenwa and not that basket Akpeyi we would have stood a far better chance! The weaknesses of the super eagles was there for all to see: our poor passing game (transition) and our basket Akpeyi which led to the shaky defence. Algeria knew these and took advantage while our so called coach went to sleep instead of addressing the issues. |
Sports › Re: We Are Satisfied With Third Position - Rohr by obi58: 6:50am On Jul 18, 2019 |
Rohr should be sacked for the mediocre performance of that team.
For constantly fielding that basket Akpeyi against all logical reasoning!
For being unable to transform the agricultural and boring passing game of the super eagles in over 2 years at the helm!
Especially for his inability to affect the Algeria or Madagascar matches tactically from the bench !!!
Truth be told any home based coach would have done as well, if not better with this squad! |

XINOIX: I believe the coach did his best and deserves another term the game against Algeria I believe we were a little bit unlucky which to me is also part of the game STFU!!!! EVEN A BLIND MAN COULD SEE AKPEYI WAS A LIABILITY YET HE KEPT PLAYING HIM!!!! DITTO WITH OUR INABILITY TO PASS I.E. BALL RETENTION AND TRANSITION WHERE WAS HIS INPUT AS A COACH TO ADDRESS THESE PROBLEMS |

It is not a matter of English so don t miscontrue my words huncle Hanty go and read what I wrote and come back to read how much you misquoted me |

SiobhanMeadow: There are not different things. What happened to owning or having assets under children's name. Huncle!!! 'Hanty' They are two different things.... This is simple English. There is a clear difference between launching your product and someone launching a product for you. How do you send out an invite saying a child who cannot even hold a microphone herself is launching a product? Let's call a spade a spade! There is no crime in launching a product and naming it after your daughter or launching a business which is managed by you or trustees for your child. |

U for be big boy by now Olodo if the father is launching a hair care line for the daughter then let him say so and not say his daughter is launching her own hair care line. They are 2 different things 'Huncle' !!! |

yommyk222: I am thinking of going for one of the above mention phone, but don't know which one to for. Here is there spec
Umidigi One. Xiaomi Redmi 7 5.9 inch display 6.26 4GB. Ram. 3 32. Room. 32 3550mah Battery. 4000mah 12mp. Back cemera. 12mp 16mp. Front camera. 8mp 8.1. Android version. 9.0
Price range 45k Umidigi has more frequency bands so you can get MTN, Airtel and Glo 4g and arguably the better aesthetic design but Xiaomi has better build quality and an infrared sensor so the choice is yours to make |

Max24: So, you are part of them ? The looters and robbers of the masses. God is watching all of you. Do you even go to church? Someone has been issuing you with estimated bills which you have been complaining about. You know the solution to this problem is metering which has not been successfully deployed till date due to the Nigerian factor. Suggest a realistic solution, you no fit do. All you want to do is to complain. |
Politics › Re: NERC: Nigerians To Pay N36,000 And N67,000 For Electricity Meters by obi58: 9:29am On Apr 08, 2019 |
Eagba: with all your explanation you forgot to mention that we are buying meter for the business man to measure his money. which is fraudulent, but by offering incentive like bonus credit units can help Bridge the gap and all will seem/be gappy at the end. and that my brother isn't subsidy, its a smarter and fairer business move. Fair point about compensation to the consumer for procurement of a meter which is meant to be a business expense. That should be taken into consideration in due course. However, what should be target now is how to ensure meters are readily available nationwide and promptly delivered. We all know that the power sector is bedeviled with severe funding challenges and currently is running at a loss so we have to all be on board in proferring realistic and workable solutions to resolving this metering problem which we have all been crying out for a solution. |

eyoniggar: Mehn I cant even complain as long as it is pay on delivery, or pay enroute to installation. The estimated bill I'm receiving is not from this earth abeg. Exactly that is what the focus should be now... To ensure there is no delay in delivery upon payment. |
Politics › Re: NERC: Nigerians To Pay N36,000 And N67,000 For Electricity Meters by obi58: 12:54pm On Apr 07, 2019 |
Max24: So we should be scammed in the name of resolving issues. This government is doing daylight robbery. What would you consider to be a fair price for a meter? |
Politics › Re: NERC: Nigerians To Pay N36,000 And N67,000 For Electricity Meters by obi58: 12:53pm On Apr 07, 2019 |
Eagba: instead of you to be creative in your thinking, you're just thinking blandly. you could have well suggest that the meter comes with free credit units that will cover part or all of the cost the meter, you're here justifying nonsense. You're simply not being realistic. What you have here is similar to the argument for deregulation and subsidy for fuel. Either fuel is subsidized and we have fuel scarcities because suppliers are unwilling to meet the demand at that price or deregulate and ensure the product is everywhere and eventually allow competition for supply drive the price down. Remember how much GSM lines were at the beginning? How much do lines go for now? Remember how much DStv decoders use to go for? How much are they now? Nigerians argue they are being ripped off with estimated billing and need prepaid meters. For years now the demand for the meters have not been matched by supply because the pricing is not attractive. Now we have providers ready to bridge this gap at a premium. The onus now for Nigerians is to pay up and get the meter or continue accepting estimated bills. With time, the price of meters will go down. |

Politics › Re: NERC: Nigerians To Pay N36,000 And N67,000 For Electricity Meters by obi58: 12:34pm On Apr 07, 2019 |
oldtruth: Why are you thinking upside down? If I buy a phone, it belongs to me and I can do anything to it. So you mean we should buy something that the government will still say belongs to her?
If we buy that meter, they should expect me to tamper with it because it is my property and I can go any length on it to give me satisfaction.
Nigerians needs to wisen up and don't have to be daft It's optional to buy the meter bro. You can still enjoy your estimated billing |
Politics › Re: NERC: Nigerians To Pay N36,000 And N67,000 For Electricity Meters by obi58: 9:53am On Apr 07, 2019 |
Nigerians and complaints sha!
All these people complaining about the price will not be averse to spending similar or even great amounts on buying the latest phones to show off.
Same people who complained about estimated billing and the length of time involved in getting a meter are still condemning this new initiative aimed at resolving these problems. |
