ikennamadu1:IT expert ni IT expert ko! They should seek the services of a babalawo to locate the lady! But seriously it is embarrassing that our police in this jet age even under the orders of the Inspector cannot trace the source of a YouTube video. What if this was a terrorist? |
PrettyCrystal:Cheap propaganda. Name one market in Nigeria where foreign rice is not sold? How many people have you heard died from contaminated rice consumption? Rice like any crop gets spoilt over time. That has nothing to do with where it was produced. In fact, imported rice lasts longer due to the inclusion of preservatives and can last up to ten years if stored properly. What government should be looking at is how to support local farmers to lower the cost of local rice production and boost the quality and size of local rice yield instead of all this cheap publicity stunts. |
Pavarottii:It's obvious you don't travel the Yenagoa Nembe road otherwise you won't be saying all this. The only good section of that road is the dualized section done by an oil company. That road is over 20 years old and is showing all the evidence of the age. Even the taxis on that route are equally as rickety as a right thinking person will not want to sacrifice a sound car on that road. Please tell us what the Amasoma people were protesting about since you are now there sir. And please don't give us that crap about Bayelsa being a developing state; Bayelsa is an oil producing state biko and anyone who is on ground knows there is enough money in the state for the just 8 local governments to be transformed into little London if the state government is interested. The only thing is that there is massive injustice and inequitable distribution of income amongst the people. Imagine? Just 8 local governments!! What then is the excuse? No water treatment plant self! The little amenities people there experience is from community projects sponsored by the oil companies. Sad! |
Bimpe29:Hmmm me self come dey wonder whether he just dey assume office! 3 years down the line na now him dey talk wetin he dey plan do? So what has be been doing for his people since? ABI na because election don dey near? |
Davidson7:People can lie sha.... Is this not the same Amasoma where the locals were protesting against the government that led to police crackdown and loss of life so much so that students had to flee NIger Delta University ![]() Where is Dickson working? Is it in Yenagoa or in Brass or in Ogbia? Or in Nembe? Where are the roads he's built? Do you know that even as I write the road from Yenagoa to Nembe ( along which you will see Nigeria's first oil well Oloibiri and even Gej's village road) is in a state of disrepair, not dualized and patched once in a while by the intervention of the local communities ?Where are the jobs he has created? Why won't there be restiveness with the high level of joblessness and poverty endemic all around? How many hospitals has he equipped? How many schools has he refurbished? How many communities has he secured? Come to think of it if not for the oil companies I wonder how many communities would have had power supply. Do you know that till today Ben Bruce's community Akassa still does not have a connecting road or power supply? Why are pirates still terrorising innocent Bayelsans crossing the numerous waterways in their daily hustle? Now people are talking of cargo airport meanwhile nothing has been put in place by the government to help fishermen store their fish (cold rooms) as well as boost their fishing and transport their fish( trawlers and ferries) knowing that the Ijaw people are principally fishermen. Abeggiiii make Una park well well. |
sarrki:He has already lost the vote of the Kogi people after the maltreatment of Dino. He has also lost Benue, Adamawa and Taraba because of his poor handling of the herdsmen issue and the genocide ongoing in those states. He has also lost Kwara because of his Victimization of Saraki. He has lost 90% of the votes of enlightened hardworking, Nigerian youths who instead of being commended for their resourcefulness in spite of a challenging economy and little or no government support were labelled as being lazy. Not to talk about the votes from the south south, east and west who saw the true change when recession started ministering hunger to their stomachs. We are tired of hearing about the corruption fight when Mainagate and the grass cutting scandal have been swept other the carpet. And of course those ladies who feel insulted for being reduced to being only good enough for 'Za other room' |
IEJames:Dear sir this is not about being unpatriotic. Every government is facing the same receding budget allocation compared to the previous GEJ era including Rivers State but still we are still seeing concerted transformation projects in a number of states like Rivers, Kaduna and Lagos to name a few. Under the Udom administration truth be told, few expected him to match the massive strides in infrastructural development of his predecessor but he had one of the best foundations to consolidate on. He has been unable to sustain even 30% of the infrastructural development pace of his predecessor, he has been unable to maintain the structures he met on ground, he is yet to complete any of the projects not completed by his predecessor and we are yet to see the impact of the so called dakada initiative in terms of job creation and entrepreneurial empowerment in terms of loans. I must commend him for the dakada initiative though because our people have always believed in receiving cash gifts from people in government to working. That said, I'm yet to hear of state sponsored farms for example, or for supervised loans to budding Akwa Ibom entrepreneurs looking for investment. In the Akpabio era we heard of the Ibom power plant. What is this government doing to maintain it and expand it's generation capacity as well as work on the power distribution network of the state knowing the key role power has to play in infrastructural development? Instead we keep placing our hopes on one syringe factory here or one metering company there, placing all our hopes on private sponsorship without doing more to provide the enabling environment to provide that support. Come to think of it, how many scholarships have been awarded by this government? How many secondary schools and technical colleges have been refurbished to advance the quality of educational institutions in the state. Akpabio brought free and compulsory primary education and during his 8 years a lot of primary schools were rehabilitated. So what is Udom doing to advance that initiative and arm the youths with the needed skills to either further their education or provide themselves with a trade? What has been done to improve the health sector in the state? Bro we can only move forward when we are truthful to ourselves. THREE YEARS DON CARRY WAKA and we are still in planning phase. The honest truth is that our current allocation is still 10 times what some other states are collecting. Every day budding Akwa Ibom youths are leaving the state to other places in search of jobs elsewhere. Just imagine if 100m was set aside monthly to provide supervised loans to 100 entrepreneurs from each of the 31 local government areas of the state. That means in 3 years 3600 businesses would have been created which would have employed others with the multiplier growth effect on the economy of the state! Udom CAN and SHOULD do more to move the state forward. Compared to Wike, his fellow PDP stalwart he has done nothing worthy of commendation. Being a technocrat I expected much more results from him but so far all we have heard are excuses and more excuses. Imagine something as basic as streetlights cannot be maintained! Then why am I not surprised that the 20th anniversary hospital is having issues? |
HappyNigerian:Which industrialization? Is it that shell of a syringe factory? Or the so called metering company that till tomorrow no one has even felt their impact in Eket talk less of the whole of Akwa Ibom? Where are Jobs being created? Where are the roads being built? Even streetlights in Uyo are no longer working because the contract for powering them has been stopped! How many jobs has he created for the Akwa Ibom people? Truth be told Akwa Ibom is still living in the past glory of the Akpabio era. Look at the massive strides Wike is making in Rivers state then you will understand the extent to which Akwa Ibom is now underperforming. Udom has the potential to step up his game massively. He should do that before he can be celebrated. |
waleco2008:Pictures please |
I see more goals in this game for Croatia |
Well I expected Nigeria to lose but they went behind to an unfortunate own goal. Perhaps better marking would have not forced Etebo into that tackle as he was left to mark two players at the back post. Nigeria has to do more going forward in their build up if we are to salvage anything from this match. The super eagles are too slow in their transition. |
Even though I'm not a fan of the APC and this so called government of change, the truth is that the PDP government of Udom has failed miserably in the discharge of its duties in Akwa Ibom state constantly pandering to the gallery instead of living up to its responsibility and so I'm not surprised people are agitated and seeking alternatives elsewhere. However, the power of incumbency should guarantee PDP success in Akwa Ibom come 2019 unless something radical happens to change the status quo. |
gberra:Ethnic BIGOT. Please stop posting all these racist and tribalistic comments. You are disgracing yourself. It's all this kind of disgusting comments and sentiments that brought about the advent of the nazi regime and the Holocaust. |
ib0221:Hello Bro I'm not comparing both dates. As far as I'm concerned both dates are significant but in my own humble opinion, May 29th should be retained as democracy day and june 12 should be Abiola day. MKO should be immortalised by naming a public monument eg a university or a stadium as well. |
As far as I'm concerned, Aregbesola is just playing to the gallery. Whilst it is laudable that MKO is being recognized, this is nothing more than a publicity stunt from an administration that has done nothing to encourage the growth of free and fair politics in the 3 years of government. There has been abuse for rule of law, outright refusal to comply with court orders, villification of the political opposition, intimidation of people's freedom of speech, enshrining of politics of win at all costs and of course introduction of the BMC propaganda machine. Yes June 12th should be immortalised but not at the expense of May 29th which also is a very significant day in the history of Nigeria's politics being the day we finally embraced democracy in Nigeria. |

Soulsymbol99:MY POINT EXACTLY! LET'S INTRODUCE MAXIMUM AGE INTO POLITICS TO SANITIZE OUR DEMOCRACY!!! MAX AGE FOR PRESIDENCY AND SENATE SHOULD BE 55. ANYONE OVER THAT SHOULD RETIRE AND BECOME AN ELDER OR A KINGMAKER |
Not everyone is a Catholic so the name is a huge turn to a good chunk of your prospective market. |
GistersNG:WHY DO YOU NEED TO LIE TO GENERATE TRAFFIC TO YOUR BLOG? DONT YOU KNOW YOU ARE HARMING THE INTEGRITY OF YOUR BLOG? GIVING YOURSELF A BAD NAME IN THE LONG RUN FOR SHORT TERM GAINS WHERE IS THE EVENT PLANNER'S RESPONSE![]() ? |
GistersNG:WHY DO YOU NEED TO LIE TO GENERATE TRAFFIC TO YOUR BLOG? DONT YOU KNOW YOU ARE HARMING THE INTEGRITY OF YOUR BLOG? GIVING YOURSELF A BAD NAME IN THE LONG RUN FOR SHORT TERM GAINS ![]() |
See this nobody ooooo. Because God don pity your hustle give you better man, now na to condemn other people market you don enter. If the event planner was so bad why did she not fire them and contract someone else to do it? ABI were you blindfolded during the wedding planning process? If your concerns were not addressed, I'm sure there are so many event planners that would have happily undertaken the contract even at short notice (for the right price of course.... After all no be just money?) ABI after the badmouthing she no go gree pay the woman for services rendered? Abeg there are more dignified and tasteful ways to handle bad workmen (especially as a celebrity) than to unleash your inner agbero for all to see. I'm wondering just what manners this ex beauty queen was taught in beauty school ABI na just to catwalk and wear bikini? Imagine telling a guest that he should have been excluded.... How rude! No wedding is perfect.... Just thank God it's over and done with and get on with your married life already. |
Wonderful car specimen but disappointed in op for following bad advice not to disclose the VIN. Leaves me wondering if there's something to hide. |
This in common man parlance is what is known as an uppercut to the apc! O boy see savagery from Reno. |
tesppidd:Lie all the lies you want Nigerians know this government have failed to deliver on their campaign promises and failed woefully. I'm not a PDP fan so I care less about your usual blame game soap opera but una wey dey call yourselves Messiah are no better in any shape or form. No matter how much they pay you you know it's the truth. |
tesppidd:Bro have you noticed Uncle Lai is no longer coming out to defend the government? Have you asked yourself why? The answer is quite simple; Nigerians are wise to his propaganda so much so that even when he tells the truth he is assumed to be lying as usual. The shameless manner in which the Benue tragedy was handled has pitted the Benue APC and entire state against the presidency. No matter how the BMC tries to paint the situation, it's quite evident that the last 3 years has been a massive letdown from the change and hope which was promised. So much impunity, disrespect for the rule of law, court judgements and even Senate summons and of course.,. Rubbishing of Nigeria's image abroad à la lazy Nigerian youths... That is why till tomorrow we keep hearing about paper achievements and blaming of past administrations as if that was not the reason they were given the mandate to rule by the people. That is why there has been massive unrest in many of the APC congresses conducted so far and the agitation for reordering of the election sequence. Nigerians are wiser now and not moved any more by propaganda. They are only waiting for credible opposition to show the level of disenchantment with the current administration. If that falls to materialize then the President will win by default |
You're quick to condemn others as quacks but even the english you write is very poor. Please work on your presentation and spelling. |
Mztarstrechy:Bro let's call a spade a spade. The whole country heard Fr Mbaka's voice of dissent during the Jonathan era not just those who went for his service unlike now |
davades:That's not true. There have always been few places where power has been relatively good but for the mass generality power outages for majority of the time still remain. Also for the vast majority, estimated billing and inflated bills still remains a major problem that hasn't been addressed by this government after 3 years of 'Transmission' |
Okoroawusa:Where is the power your government has generated in the past 3 years of administration. See... You guys should stop all this blame game and distraction and start giving account for how many of your election promises you have delivered on as we approach another election. Now is the time to give account and not to give excuses ejoooor |

they are busy talking minimum age when we know the main problem is the maximum age
which most of them {even oga @ d top} is guilty of
