Politics › Re: Buhari Was The 2nd Target Of The Bomb Blast In Kaduna by obiscolly(m): 6:52pm On Jul 23, 2014
I laff. This is an APC fight. The struggle has begun for who will bear the APC flag for the upcoming presidential election. It's obviously people in the APC against Buhari that perpetrated this and also planned the first attack to make it look as if it was a Boko Haram attack.
I'm not surprised because APC is secretly divided against itself. It's not so obvious because they don't want to wash their dirty linen in public. They're just a combination of various parties with different political ideologies and high desperation for power.

blink182: It is sure absurd, I said that for saying sake. Starting a business is no child's play at all. How far did you go with this program, are you among the finalists?
Oh well..
Yeah, I've been shortlisted for the interview.
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: The Painful Reality Of Nigerian Graduates by obiscolly(m): 8:04am On Jul 23, 2014
It's a really sad situation. You virtually find any firm willing to invest in training fresh graduates and even the few that have entry level opportunities have been contaminated to the bone marrows with nepotism. I weep for the upcoming generation. Companies complain that Nigerian graduates lack skills and are unemployable. What are they doing to change this? This situation is really getting out of hand and could escalate into something ugly in the near future. I think the government should come up with policies that binds medium and large enterprises to employ and train a minimum number of fresh graduates annually to curb this menace.
Celebrities › Re: 10 Billionaire Who Dropped Out Of School by obiscolly(m): 7:37am On Jul 23, 2014
It's worthy to note that most of these billionaires who supposedly dropped out to launch startups are in the IT world...bill Gates, Paul Allen, Mark, Steve Jobs etc.. That's a field where ingenuity and creativity really pays off. So dropping out of school couldn't have stopped them. They had all they needed- the passion, the mental capacity and a computer set. Well..about the money....great ideas attract money and not the other way round.
So don't get too carried away about dropping out. Lol.

blink182: congratulations bro. I've passed half way with my business proposal that was rejected, I got my cac certificate early this month. When the business succeeds, I'll mock this program at every interview I attend.
Congrats to you on still working to achieve your plan. That your proposal wasn't chosen doesn't mean that it's not good enough. Infact it could make you the next 'Dangote'. But coming to say you'll mock the program when you succeed is really absurd. You should understand that even if all the business proposals are perfect, there's no way everyone can be chosen. We should really commend the FG for this program, and most of all, for the level of transparency involved. YouWin and the Pressid scholarships still gives me great hope that corruption can be wiped out and Nigeria can be great again smiley
Good luck!

chlowi: Because it can! I didn't think it. Because I know itt does exist even in abject poverty...
Yeah I do share your opinion too. Just wanted to know why. I believe love is unconditional but poverty can kill a relationship even when both parties still love each other deep down.

Romance › Re: Can True Love Exist In Poverty ? by obiscolly(m): 7:37pm On Jul 22, 2014
True love can exist amidst poverty. But then again, it's one thing to love and it's another thing to breed a relationship. Poverty can destroy relationships even though deep down both parties still love each other. Love is unconditional but relationships depend on resources to sustain.

That's my opinion.

Great news. I'm just hoping this will create so many job opportunities, especially for fresh graduates with little or no experience.

delishpot: True notging wrong in being called maid. But why include daughter? If she sees her as a daughter then why the maid tag again? She for give her LV handbag and a dior gown to wear and dolce gabbana pef and some swarovski earings and tiffany, bracelets to wear join na!
My daughter/ maid ko my son/ cleaner ni.
Na she sabi jor. As long as her oninye dey enjoy every human right wey human deserve for there.
But come o, tonto no dey ever spell anything right? Tinz, examz, ma daughter/ housegirl, etc.
Eh, make I go check my indomie. Me self don reach to find one son/ houseboy wey go dey cook for me and wear my expensive italian leather shoes and my silk suite and tie go write jamb.
Lol...truth is that even though I see nothing really wrong with her using the word 'maid' I still believe she's trying to pass a message across to some people. I learnt she was kinda deprived her childhood after she lost her mother. So I'm suspecting she was maltreated by whoever took her in later on. She's just trying to show that maids shouldn't be treated as junk.

linearity: don't mind them, they are dying of jealousy, na dis same people wey hate the word "maid" because it means "slavery" and should not be used in a modern society got plenty bridesmaids for their wedding or are looking for cheap bridesmaids now....hypocrisy....dem go even get maid of honor join am.

Wikipedia say...A maid is a female person employed in domestic service....Tonto carry go mare and kudos for giving this sister the opportunity earn a living, a roof over her head, food, clothing, etc and to top it all...allowing to continue her education.
