mandarin: If these are true then he must be very frugal. However am baffled, why did he support a rather wasteful Jonathan Goodluck that laid the foundation for the current recession? I know he is a learned fellow, versed in financial matters, while on earth did he decide to support GEJ considering his wastefulness. One thing I've come to learn about educated elites is their penchant to become honorary advisers when they leave government. I thought Okonjo Iweala would for instance come out to explain to Nigerians how she presided over an economy that received so much oil income that toward the end was already borrowing to finance salary of workers. You see why Nigeria baffles me!!! You also forgot that Okonjo Iweala creates Excess Crude Account and started saving the surplus but the Governors headed by Amaechi as the chairman of Governors forum took the Federal Government to the supereme court (because they needed more money to loot)contending that the Federal Government lack the power to save "their" money and because the constitution said "share" not "save" they(Governors) won.APC(Amaechi inclusive) could confidently tell or blame the past administration for not saving for the rainy day because they know that people like you are in the majority. |

Trut: The solution is to report to the police, the police will get a court order on your behalf against the scammer's bank where the money was transferred to and the account will be frozen. That's, if there is still money in the account, do you think that they will leave the money there?. He said that he uses the account for such transactions. |

GMBuhari: You just begged me literally for name of my bank which I refused to tell you and now I'm a liar?
First things first I posted my experience and it's factual
Secondly if your bank refuses to process your payment via PayPal doesn't mean all banks or everybody else will have the same problem
Thirdly, I posted my experience because I was irritated by the lies your fellow wailers posted about conversion rate being 450 upwards which you also confirmed is 380 per your last transaction an amount not far from the 340 I quoted
If there was ever a chance I was going to reveal anything, you just screwed that chance up by calling me a liar
Get the frack outta my mentions I won't entertain it anymore
Bye-bye I asked for the bank at first when I thought you're a serious being but seeing more of your post with naked lies, I knew it's time to pay less attention to you. Gerraat here, you have NOTHING to offer. |

Bookiemart01: You need to calm down and cut the insults I have about 5 bank cards and the list I was charged in the past week was #378$ and I was charged as high as #441/$ by another bank.
It will also interest you to know that 4 out of my banks declined my transaction using paypal conversion rates until I changed it to $. I still insist YOUR CLAIM THAT "the bank's card you use does not matter as long as it is linked to paypal " is very far from the truth Don't glorify the guy with a quote, he just want to use back door to get information, he makes false claims, you tell him the truth. |

GMBuhari: All the mentions i have received so far indicates how clueless these so called Importers really are
I have just explained in clear terms that the bank's card you use does not matter as long as it is linked to paypal
Every Nigerian bank inflates the conversion rate , to make profit , That is very clear to anyone who does transactions with different banks
And i am not talking aout the rates like 490 , 450 ,489 that some ridiculous , shameless, copy and paste Anti Buhari robots always paste online
Paypal will charge you equivalent of international rate + transaction charges
As of this morning , rate from CBN's website is 305 , which means that's the general and official exchange rate , save for a sharp increase or reduction in rates which is automatically updated is 305
Parallel market ( international ) lists rate as 315
I am not talking about black market here or aboki rates which is what most of you wicked souls scream about day and night
Every bank under CBN will add their own profit if you pay with card directly which is why the exchange rate will be a whole lot higher than the official rate
I am intentionally not going to mention my bank's name , So , do some research , Link your card to paypal and call me a liar with proof
If you don't have or use paypal , stay the fuucckkkk off my bleeping mentions

dabullit , Htwoow Go and sit down you're a big liar, you don't even make payment online, yes PayPal allows you to pay either in dollar or naira but banks doesn't accept naira option of payment, that is when they will sent you a message about DCC.At least I know about GTB and Zenith. |
Business › Re: Dollar To Naira For An Online Transaction....please Advices Are Needed ASAP by Obynolee(f): 1:13pm On Sep 11, 2016 |
GMBuhari: So if i don't agree with you , it means i don't know anything ?? Common sense is good sometimes, i just received the delivery of goods i purchased 10 days ago and i still made order today at 348 to 1 $ , Paypal's updated services allows user to choose if they want to be billed in direct Naira or USD rates , Naira rate is less than $ value , Doesn't matter if it's PHP, Skye or Diamond
That said ,
Respect yourself and don't ever quote me to insult me Please what's the bank you use that allows you to pay in naira? |
Business › Re: Dollar To Naira For An Online Transaction....please Advices Are Needed ASAP by Obynolee(f): 1:10pm On Sep 11, 2016 |
GMBuhari: Link your card to paypal
Don't mind the badbelle above , the exchange rate is not up to 400 let alone 450
It's in the range of 340 or a little more and that's the international rate , parralel market rate so to speak Please which bank charge 340 or a little more /$?,GTB charges me 380/$… |

AntiWailer: I trust you but he will waste his money on litigation and still lose.
The bank has a whole department that will handle litigation matters.
Also, did you read all those terms and condition before you signed your account opening form.
Did your lawyer interprete it ?
NO i guess. On what basis will he sue them?,I see a waste of time and money, One bank did the same thing to me in 2014,I used them to send $5k to China only for me to wake up the next morning and discovered that 30k has been deducted from my account, I rushed and withdrew the balance, some months later, they called me that they made mistake in the exchange rate and requested that I fund the account with 300k so that they will take it,I have forsaken the account since then.No time to waste. |

frankopit: Tried to make payment this morning, what i observed on my paypal account while trying to process my payment is a standard international conversion rate of Naira to dollar Equivalent of my payment, after dividing the total Naira/Dollar i realized it is an equivalent of N322 per $1 as at this moment. This is unlike the usual method our Nigerian Banks are using to settle payment with international companies in USD(The banks buy FX from Central bank through Bidding ,Fix an Exchange rate on online card services which is currently N380 and above per $1 depending on the bank). What a Good way to go for online payment on card services.Nigerian Banks FX corruption on online card services eliminated. Unfortunately, the dcc by PayPal is automatic and not optional, so you can't select another currency as GTBank is suggesting. Time will tell the solution either from paypal or from nigerian banks Yeah, with the DCC option dollar was at 315 and 327 in the afternoon when I tried it but Banks wouldn't allow it.I later manually changed it and was able to send @380/$. |
