No! You cost it. We all cost it. Stop putting the blame on just the govt when all or most of us can do is to only come in here on NL or other social media (which our govt) don't even pay any attention to and flex our muscles over what wrongs them are doing. How many of us here ve ever participated in active cry againist injustice and corruption? How many ever asked their local govt chairman about his neglected responsibilities? Or ur ward heads or leaders about what them are supposed to do? We tell ourselves: stay of the trouble, don't go barring those cards - ve you forgotten that boy killed in the last protest?
I'm sick and tired of all these speculations!

Why cant they tell us what exactly is wrong with herhuh

From food poisoning to Appendicitis to ruptured appendicitis to tummy tuck and now parkinson's?

Only in Nigeria will a leader be sick in the hospital and they hide it like we are the ones making them sick?? angry
Hahaha! Have you forgotten the remote controlling ability of ur ppl (Nigerians)? Them are sacred to let the person punching to remote know how well them are doing so as not to get more remote controlled.
Anyway, that was by the way. If we really believe in God, then I'm sure to say most of our statements here are not worth posting. You don't offer an eye for eye. Nah! If God who is Love can let the sun shine on both the good and bad why then can't you tolerate others? I'm not saying you should always be on the low but when it comes to life and death, i strongly beleive we should be praying for a better health for her. Remember, do unto others what you want to be done to you. Even the heavens will bear you witness on this.
Madam first lady, may the greatest healer of all ages grant you a super natural healing in Jesus Name.

Christianity Etc › Re: Here Is A List Of Churches That Has Derailed In The Message Of Holiness. by Ochek: 12:25am On Jun 07, 2012
It's true some churches are now user friendly, self oriented and diluting the true words of God. Nontheless, I see no reason why this should amuse or be a thing for us to debate about. Common! Go read ur bibls. Its all in there. Its no strange thing. This are sure the end times when truth will be derailed from. Ma concern? Who are we to judge by mentioning names? Pathetic. And God says He needed us to help him do His job? Look, on the day of reconning, God ain't gonna ask u what church u attended here on earth. Know God for U. All u need to know about God is freely given in his Word. Yes! Some talk about prosperity. So what? I bet they never say to u church "never open ur bibles" or never own one". Like I said, know God for yourself. Hell and Heaven are our personal decissions. It dosen't matter if it is preached to you once in a year.
Christianity Etc › Re: Churches That Can Lead You To Hell Fire by Ochek: 12:03am On Jun 07, 2012
I kinda really think you going to hell is ur personal decision. No body makes it for ya. God has been so kind enough not to hide :is words from us. Now that's why we got His words as bibles everywhere. Know God for u and be saved. What is God saying? Not som pastor or pop. Gone are the days only a few were privillaged to Gods words. Know God for ur self. Oh! Have we forgotten what christainity is all about? LIKE CHRIST. In real essence, christainity ain't a religion, it's a way of life. What church I attend can sure greatly influence way decission but not make the final decission for me. KNOW GOD FOR YOURSELF. It's ur free will and free decission.

Awesome newsm nonthelessn I buy the arguments of those who think this is some kinda bigger scam to get ppl. I mean, if them "big brothers" can help out with providing tools to protect after scanning ur systemn why then can't they protect the servers entirely from the hakers. Why can't they sell them so called super anti malware sw to the antivirus companies (we trust) to help us? This is sure some kinda way of getting to the larger world. It's sure what I will do if I'm a hacker. Sell u some crippy idea, u fall for then I take the super lead. Perhars, the FBI ain't even got a damn hand in this shit. Maybe some cool dudes worked up a website to mimick the original. Well, may opinion, may choice. Worst happens, I sure will locate ma windows 7 installer and smile on.

Hey! Whatz wrong with us? A man of God can't be rich again? Then tell me where all the blessings (which makes rich and adds no sorrow) would be. If an oyibo man comes up with his and even higher charges, we will long for it, calling it standard. Now this is standard from a fellow Nigerian! Learn to appreciate pls. Don't get me wrong, the fees are sure way expensive but then, the actual questions we should be asking and defending are: is the charge wort the output?
Politics › Re: Should Goodluck Jonathan Appoint Buhari To Tackle Boko Haram? by Ochek: 8:56pm On Apr 26, 2012

Politics › Re: Should Goodluck Jonathan Appoint Buhari To Tackle Boko Haram? by Ochek: 8:30pm On Apr 26, 2012
Joker! How do you appoint someone with a selfish ambition? If any anti GEJ knows and thinks he can save the situation, why not do rather than louding their mouth in singing the failure of the presidency. Now, thats what we call being patriotic. Thatz the quality of ppl we need. Not one that will end up turning the situations and circumstances to their advantage.

Politics › Re: You Are 70 Not 60 - Pdp Tells Tinubu by Ochek: 8:56am On Apr 04, 2012
DTaj: Guys, I think it does us all a lot of good to be dispassionate about debates. I am not a member of ANY political party in Nigeria, because I essentially see them ALL as largely identical. However, please read a summary of Tinubu's profile (culled from a web search) below and read my posers thereafter:

"On his arrival in the U.S. in 1975 and with the support of an ever-adoring mother, faced with an unflinching zeal to succeed, took on such menial jobs as dishwashing, night-guard and cab-driving to see himself through the initial difficulties of school at the Richard Daley College, Chicago, Illinois.

The brilliance of this young Nigerian showed in his ability to make the honours’ list of Richard Daley College. He subsequently transferred to the Chicago State University, Illinois, graduating with honours in 1979 and earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration (Accounting and Management). During his first year in Chicago State University, young Bola was given the rare privilege to partly teach other students of his Faculty remedial tutorial classes. Most of his colleagues and contemporaries at the university attributed their improved grades to his tutorial lectures.

Throughout his undergraduate years, young Bola was on the Dean’s List and was honoured with the Outstanding Student’s Award, the University Scholar’s Award and the Certificate of Merit in Accounting and Finance. He was also awarded the prestigious Sumna cum laude for scoring 3.54 out of possible 4.0 GP.

With his successful academic profile, young Bola contested and won his first political election as the President of the Accounting Society of the institution in his final year at the University.

Upon graduation with honours and several awards, Bola Tinubu cut his professional teeth at the American-based Arthur Anderson, Deloitte Haskins and Sells (now called Deloitte Haskins and Touche) and GTE Service Corporation - the largest Communication and Utility Company in the United States of America.

Meanwhile, at Deloitte Haskins and Sells, the young and professional Bola broadened his experience by participating in the auditing and management consultancy services of General Motors, First National Bank of Chicago, Procter and Gamble, International Harvester, GEC and other Fortune 500 firms.

On his return to Nigeria and with his international experience in Financial Management, young Bola joined Mobil Producing Nigeria as a Senior Auditor before he retired as the company’s Treasurer".

My posers:

1. As an ex-employee of Arthur Andersen (myself), I KNOW that T inubu couldn't have been employed in that foremost firm if he had questionable academic qualifications!

2. Having been an Accountant and having rose to the position of the Treasurer at Mobil Nigeria, he couldn't have had a phoney background! Mobil is a well respected multinational for God sake and the Treasurer position in most organizations- banking, manufacturing, FMCG, etc (let alone a MOBIL is a top management position)!

3. A man who scored a CGP (American format) of 3.54 out of 4.0 (equivalent of British First Class!!!) couldn't have been the 'agbero' people easily ascribe to him!

4. Again, Tinubu couldn't have worked in these highly respected global companies if he was a moral and intellectual nincompoop: Deloitte Haskins and Sells- now called Deloitte Haskins and Touche- (where he did auditing and management consultancy assignments for top organizations- General Motors, First National Bank of Chicago, Procter and Gamble, International Harvester, GEC and other Fortune 500 firms), GTE Service Corporation.

5. If one did a deliberate study of the people Tinubu's party, ACN, brought up as candidates, you cannot but respect the man! For instance, Gov. Fayemi of Ekiti has a Ph.D. from University of London and has remarkable international recognition among civil society groups; Gov. Ajimobi of Oyo was MD/CEO at National Oil and Chemical Marketing Company, a subsidiary of Shell; Gov. Aregbesola of Osun is a Chartered Engineer; Gov. Oshiomhole of Edo needs no introduction as Nigeria's most pragmatic and eloquent (and probably the most briliant) NLC President bar Hassan Sunmonu, and is a self-made man who attended Ruskin College, Oxford; Gov. Amosun of Ogun is an ICAN Fellow-FCA- (since 1996!) and has an accounting firm which he established in 1990!

6. Also, a man associated with Jimi Agbaje, Opeyemi Agbaje, Bolaji Akinyemi, Wale Edun, Yemi Cardoso, Dele Alake, Prof. Osinbajo, and so many other leading lights could not have been a fool! A look at Tinubu's cabinet (1999-2007) shows that he couldn't have been the clown people so derisively call him.

Hate him or like him, I think Tinubu is one of the remarkable characters in Nigeria, especially when one considers the dangers a one-paty state portends and his role in avoiding that debacle.

Should the hate mob begin their attack, I say: I have never met or seen Tinubu (either in full glare of the public or in private), and the closest I have ever been to his protégé, Gov. Fashola, was to see him speak (as a member of audiences) at four professional events.
Good job man! Now this this is what we expect to see rather than insults. Nontheless, u had forgotten to paste ur sources of search for us to check out our selves. Not cos we lazy to do that but to reduce the stress. Bring it on guys. Lets get get constructive in our shearing of ideas
Politics › Re: You Are 70 Not 60 - Pdp Tells Tinubu by Ochek: 11:16pm On Apr 03, 2012
1025: if tinubu is a pdp member, he will be a saint. a look at nigeria which is under pdp and all the states under pdp, non can compare itself to lagos. the pdp chieftain in lagos(bode george) is an ex-convict. the pdp chieftain in bayelsa who happens to be our president's boss is an ex-convict. in all the countries of this world apart from nigeria, obasanjo and tony annenih will also be ex-convicts. if not for selective justice, our first lady shld also be an ex-...
pdp for all i care has no moral standard to talk about tinubu.
in pdp, u have the yarimas that sleep with minors, obasanjos that sleep with their daughter in laws, senator ndume and vice president sambo who are official boko haram members. all morally dead beasts. beaf, if i were u, i will go and commit suicide for ur links with pdp.
And Tinubu has got the right moral standing to do same? Just asking.
Politics › Re: You Are 70 Not 60 - Pdp Tells Tinubu by Ochek: 9:56am On Apr 03, 2012
sholatech: I am not holding brief for Tinubu, and I trust ACN's Lai Mohammed to fire back.
But is it compulsory for someone to own businesses before contesting an election in Nigeria??Can't someone work for years and then come to contest??
To the magnitude of his wealth is what is been challenged.
