Politics › Re: Destruction Of Hausa Properties In Onitsha: Can Anyone Confirm? by Ochek: 12:47pm On Mar 19, 2013
Jikan Hauwa: Believe me Boko Haram is a complex phenomena now. Any idiot can be Boko Haram. Why did the president call them ghost? Because of the complexity of the situation as him too maybe involved. Buhari has nothing to do with Boko Haram. We strongly suspect the govt of Ebele, his international and internal collaborators behind this wicked false flag operation to destroy our land. Wake up people, some people are hell bent on destroying this country. Those wicked people want to cause a civil war. They carefully chose their target and fully study the resultant effect of the situation.
Super story! Who says he is not involved? For the fact that he remains silent alone whenever this kinda shit happens makes him a suspect.
If he so got this country in mind, he should not be staying mute on this kinda sensitive issues.

Yet if a citizen of another nation was to say this perhaps borrow ur words, you would take offence. Worse things happen in other country. Just pray for a better place.

Crime › Another Mobaction In Mushin As Four Men Are Burnt To Death Over Robbery Allegat by Ochek(op): 10:01pm On Nov 03, 2012
ave we lost our humanity? Do we no longer hold the sanctity of life sacred or is this just a sad reality that Nigerians have lost complete faith in the ability of the law to give them justice? I am not supposed to have an opinion but I do tonight! This is pure madness!

The men whose charred remains in see you see in the photos below are alleged to have gone on a robbery operation last night before they met their waterloo in the hands of angry residents of the area who wasted notime in giving them what could only be an ‘Aluu treatment!’

Four of them in number, reportedly apprehended this morning after an overnight robbery, were burnt alive in Vono street, mushin area of Lagos.

Coldfeet: hey nice to have you here! And I still maintain my Christian faith!! Come to think of it its only a genuine thing that people always like to imitate! Nobody wants to imitate an already fake item it just won't sell! I guess that's why we have so many fake Pastors, anyway God dey see them and Judgement will indeed start in the House of God.
Bless you! Now thatz what i keep telling ppl. You only fake what has got an original version. Thatz the same reason you might find some conflicting versions of the Bible. Nobody sure gonna fake an unworthy item. E no make brain and e no go sell.
Politics › Re: Police Arrest Zaria ‘Boko-Haram’ Killer by Ochek: 6:12pm On Oct 27, 2012
I think it is well known already how much the northerners have been trying to shift blames from themselves for such barbaric act of killing innocent souls. One too many times, they will push this to the easterners or say that christians are only hidding behind the name Boko Haram to carry out evil acts. FA FA FOWL!!! The said culprit never mentioned he was a member of the sect - Boko Haram, yet the writer - a northerner (supposed leanerned in journalism which should include investigiative skills) jumps off his bed in his "kaftan" and writes this sh*t. We should be able to follow trends and events of the happenings well enough to know whatz happening in the actual. I don't remember what date precisly anymore when Ribadu was making such claims as well. All rubbish.
Hey before you get it twisted, i'm not from the east. I'm a middle beltter (or north central as prefered by some folks) who is closer to the happening zone.
I in no way support the wrong act of the said Mr Uche but then again, i'm angry at what the caption and the story says - tagging him with the killings of other fellow igbo ppl in kano most esp when investigations are still on going.

Music/Radio › Tonto Dike's To Release Video Soon. by Ochek(op): 1:48am On Oct 27, 2012
Here’s Tonto Dikeh’s interview with Stella Dimokokorkus.

What prompted you into singing?

I love music and I wanted to do my own thing, to contribute my own music.

You got monstrous negative response to both singles. How did feel with all the attacks?

I listened to my songs over and over againand I told myself I did well. In all I see only the positivity in it,I made History. Peoples opinion of how my music was has further strengthened my belief that dreams die when you let the next man’s opinion get to you and I am using now to pass a message to everyone out there, if you can just do it. Don’t let anyone’s opinion kill whatever dream you have or try to stop you from taking the next step. Click to continue

You tweeted that you were not giving up. Does that mean you will become actively involved in music?

I love my acting career and I don’t see myself jumping into full time music. I am however shooting the musical video of mysongs,I will not let the hating stop me.

You released your song on Wednesday October 17, 2012 and two days later despite the negativity your song had hit 5.2 million download on the internet. How do you feel?

The most unanticipated and hated song became the most talked about, most controversial, most downloaded and of course the most listened song.I feel great Stella, no regrets.!

We look forward to the musical videos.till then I am sure comedians will soon add

Your song jokes to their shows.

Hopefully. Thank you and here’s a loud shout out and thank you to everyone who stood up for me.

Christianity Etc › A Mysterious Doll Possessed By The Spirit Of A Child by Ochek(op): 11:11am On Oct 20, 2012
A mysterious doll possessed by the spirit of a child has captured the curiosity of people across Japan for decades. The legendary Okiku doll, named after the girl who long ago used to play with it, is a 40-centimeter (16-in) tall kimono-clad figure with beady black eyes — and hair that grows.

The Okiku doll has resided at the Mannenji temple in the town of Iwamizawa (Hokkaido prefecture) since 1938. According to the temple, the traditional doll initially had short cropped hair, but over time it has grown to about 25 centimeters (10 in) long, down to the doll’s knees. Although the hair is periodically trimmed, it reportedly keeps growing back.

It is said that the doll was originally purchased in 1918 by a 17-year-old boy named Eikichi Suzuki while visiting Sapporo for a marine exhibition. He bought the doll on Tanuki-koji — Sapporo’s famous shopping street — as a souvenir for his 2-year-old sister, Okiku. The young girl loved the doll and played with it every day, but the following year, she died suddenly of a cold. The family placed the doll in the household altar and prayed to it every day in memory of Okiku.

Some time later, they noticed the hair had started to grow. This was seen as a sign that the girl’s restless spirit had taken refuge in the doll.

In 1938, the Suzuki family moved to Sakhalin, and they placed the doll in the care of Mannenji temple, where it has remained ever since.

Nobody has ever been able to fully explain why the doll’s hair continues to grow. However, one scientific examination of the doll supposedly concluded that the hair is indeed that of a young child.
