This post is a no-brainer ![]() Even little children knows it's the females. |
IYA NGBALI:Na food be that? ![]() Natasha,,:Billions of men? How many people are really on the planet, About 7 billion. How many of them are grown men within the lady's reach? ![]() How many men of marriageable age can a lady attract in her life time? ![]() Drop the billions, I believe you get the drift. really? duh Undecided Undecided cooking is no guarantee for a happy home, , cooking should not be a woman thing cos nobody was born to cook if your only reason for marrying a woman is cooking then you your self are a bloody joker. so a woman is useless if she can't cook? really was a woman born to cook? If cooking is what makes a woman then I don't even want to know how to cookTruly no was born to cook, but there are traditional roles even in all of our imported modernity, I cook may choose to help out wifey in the kitchen yet I expect her [and I believe most men do] to supervise the kitchen arrangements. All those jokes about the housemaid taking over and warming Madam's bed start with little issues like cooking. When last did anyone listen to LADY by FELA All this more, Abami E don prophesy My sister is British educated, she cooks for her husband even with her accent Many of us grew up to see her mothers, sisters, aunties, grandmothers cooking for their husbands even though they had maids to help out This cooking sessions were bonding sessions where knowledge and skills passed down Yorubas say 'Olobe lo ni oko' Why do think Calabar women are said to have the lowest divorce rates in Nigeria? If true, I believe it has to do with two notable skills Calabar ladies are brought up to possess I leave you to go figure what they are Even God showed up in His pre-incarnate form to sample Sarah's cooking- Gen18 |

Good day How much does DV 9910 Pavillion us motherboard(AMD) go for? Thanks |
This is a great thread. Kudos to the OP& many who have contributed to it. Been ages I came across an information packed&educational thread like this on NL. It has exposed most of the myths& misinformation about Cotonou shipped cars. Now I'm better informed. Kudos once again& thanks. |
Nairaland was mentioned in BBB? ![]() And so? ![]() Kini big deal ![]() BBB, seriously mentally deficient movie |
I must say kinda stumbled across this discussion in my quest to find a cheaper means as per the cost of the British pound I want to wire money to UK [pay Naira into an account here, pounds get withdrawn there] only to be told its 269 naira I was dumbfounded Thanks to NL& this thread, I now understand better why it's that high I was told by a friend that it's 260-262 as at this morning [Gbagada Mallams buying from you] More updates coming as I get 'em |
@ topic, Yes it can ![]() Only if U wan die ![]() |
This is a way too dumb topic to have been posted in the 1st place talk less of making front page. From the comments I've read, I see many didn't read through the interview b4 spewing out mostly tribal induced rants. I don't see how been 2nd from bottom in the revenue allocation table makes the state 2nd poorest. What about 9ja as a country? Watched Monique on BET yesterday while interviewing 2face Idibia say she was in 9ja and 2 things struck her The people are so happy And so poor! Ouch! ![]() Let's talk about 9ja's collective disease and not pick on Ekiti nor some northern 9ja states. |
Meaning of a wedding ring? It means [supposed to mean] I'm married To most men marriage is just a thing to be done To women, marriage is the thing that must be done Spot the difference A trend I've noticed is that in 9ja , it's the women that tend to wear the rings more whilst their husbands tend to chill on wearing it some months/few years after the wedding. Sort of I've bagged 'this woman for this marriage' attitude Also, men tell you it attracts ladies to them in that 'em madams believe a married man knows how to handle a woman better than an unmarried woman Demented thought ain't it! Personally, I wouldn't hit on a ring wearing madam but many don't think that way in 9ja Like a friend once told me, it's a thing of the heart Once your heart is corrupted and impure, don't bother going to church to waste your time, fix your heart 1st Same goes for marriage, been committed is a thing of the heart, not a piece of metal |
rafhell:Yeah the above and loads of cash! |
mama-gee:What great advice! ![]() Ever heard of domestic violence No be yankee she dey O! |
dayokanu:Jeez, see Einstein! ![]() If you are both drunk maybe ![]() It's hellish when only 1 party [especially the guy] is drunk. |

~Bluetooth:Please what did he say? |
@ post, it is nauseating to say Buhari is directly involved in the violent outburst up north When Goodluck said MEND was not involved in the Abuja bomb blasts, did that make him a militant? Prior to the elections, there was violence thus you must ask what were the security agencies doing to curtail an aftermath of violence? I may not have interacted with Gen Buhari closely but I have had the opportunity to watch Tunde Bakare from close quarters and despite his fiery nature, he is a man of peace Birds of the same feather ,we are told, flock together Thus I believe Buhari has no hand in this violence Don't hang a dog to give it a bad name When the 2007 elections were rigged, did violence not break out in the South West including Edo? I CONDEMN THE VIOLENCE IN ITS ENTIRETY but how come the security forces were caught napping? What is their intelligence gathering capabilities? Did they not anticipate something lie this happening with all the bombs that had been going off prior to the elections? The root of this problem is not the recent elections but PDP's internal zoning estrangement which almost set Nigeria ablaze It greatly polarised the country into pro north [Northern Elders Forum] and pro south [GEJ's camp] Can you recall Northern youths threatening to deal with their leaders who supported Jonathan to claim PDP's ticket? Did the security agencies take them serious, I doubt. Protesting that CPC was rigged out is just a pretext Blame PDP and their devilish zoning pact If there was honour among thieves, it would never have gotten to this GEJ's ambition and the Northern PDP elites intransigence nurtured this seeds Non the less,STOP THE SENSELESS VIOLENCE |

blacksta:If that is true, then the time the picture would have been taken was when Gbagbo was still opposing H-Boigny in the 90's but that picture doesn't look that old as Gbagbo would have looked far younger with no 'Baba Iyabo' type belly. |
ifyalways:Have you seen the pictures? They don't seem to be done in Corel. |
I'm just reposting what someone posted on page1 of this thread. But this is a shame and a tremendous fall from grace.

opalu:THANK YOU OPALU I couldn't have said it better. |
superboi:If you had been following the Ivory Coast crisis on a daily basis, you would recall that Quatara's first act was to appoint Soro his deputy and that Soro is the public face of the 'rebels' who have now been co-opted into the new Republican force wchich includes militias and deserters from Gbagbo's army. And that they will be the bulk on Ivory Coast's new army. |
superboi:You 'll have to repost your words above in understandable English & lexicon when your excitement goes down. CNN? I don't do that Jewish American propaganda station. Does sovereignty allow you to kill your own people [innocent& defenceless] in defence of a spurious mandate? You must be one of Ghadaffi's sons that has escaped from Libya! ![]() |
French soldiers have seized Ivorian leader Laurent Gbagbo from his residence and handed him over to the opposition, a Gbagbo aide has said. Ibime:The report says opposition, yours reads rebels So now the opposition are now rebels because they choose to flush out Gbagbo out of his bunker after 4 months of dialogue to make him see reason to relinquish the presidency in an election he, his supporters and the whole of Cote d' Ivoire knows he lost. Hmnn! ![]() I'm still scratching my head at your political thesis O! |
superboi:I applaud the fact that a dude who lost the presidential election choose to baulk @ the result and do a Ghadaffi upon his own people--killing protesting women and shelling a market. If U know your history well, you should know your African hero -Gbagbo- along with Henri Bedie[one time president] were the very ones who started the instigation of ethno-religious sentiments primarily against Alassane Quatara [one time prime minister and winner of the election] all in their quest to become president. |
It's all on CNN and Al Jazeera too. |
Pop Champagne jo! ![]() |
