ichidodo: Bad to worse for d Gunners. Koscielny recieves red by a no contact challenge on agbonlahor(another goof by ref again) . I smell a wallop from aston villa.Very suprious officiating today IMHO esp for both Villa goals Throw in a barebones Arsenal substitute bench and we really have a cat among the pidgeons scenario in this match |
Debroslink: Arsenal's season is crumbling already. Koscielny's red card, the 1st of the seasonDoomsday seer How can a team's season crumble on the 1st day ![]() Bad belle incubator |

1. Sugary Products@ op, sugar = carbohydrates Carbohydrates based meals form the majority of African diets I look around the black race and ask,is this why many Africans behave like thoughtless beings i.e. people with neurological disorders? Is it related to our diet? ![]() Just asking ![]() Cause I don't have neurological issues, what about you? ![]() |

^^^^^^^Congrats bbash, how you wan wash am for we we on this thread? ![]() SAT1: Yeah! I transfered ma Tuition fee last week, I bougth ma pounds from black market at #252/£. The guy paid d money into my dommy after which I did a local naira transfer to his account too. I then did FX transfer of d 13,500£ to my Sch's Barclays Bank account in tranches of 6000, 4500 and 3000£. You can also do same but be ready to pay transaction charges through ur nose, the charges are crazy man (I used gtb and incured d following charges: 0.5% of the whole money as commission, 5% of the commission as VAT, 12£ per transaction as Offshore charges, #4000/transaction as for telex). The charges migth not be a big deal to u anyways but it was to me as the whole money was from my sweat.Word up SAT1, you seemed to have gone AWOL from this thread I saw you say in an earlier page of this informative thread, that you'd submit your application today How did it go then? As of today, I was quoted 248 naira to buy a pound [243 if I was selling] by my aboki currency dealer My current account reference issue has cleared and I'm about to open a dom acct Would have loved to open a dollar denominated one only that it won't fly because I'm going to transact in pound sterling I still don't get why I can only do dollar transactions with a dollar acct, Euro txns with an Euro acct etc. |
Now the saleslady has hit back, speaking anonymously to Sunday newspaper SonntagsBlick, she said ‘I wasn’t sure what I should present to her she came in on the afternoon of Saturday July 20 so I showed her some bags from the Jennifer Aniston collection.Seems so many commenting have comprehension issues A potential customer asks for an item ,you decline that it is much more expensive and offer cheaper ones ![]() Hmmn! omenka: It realy hurts me no end to see this country adrift as she curently is. We deserve far better than this, haba! What exactly is this government up to?? Do they realy have any plans to fix anything??I wrote this on this thread https://www.nairaland.com/1393951/african-development-bank-report-political#17380369 , and believes it is relevant to the current discussion Please note, it is not a denigration of the person of the president It is just that his abilities and capabilities are dwarfed by the position he occupies GEJ reminds one of Macbeth Written by Shakespeare between 1603-1607 it is still yet one of the darkest and most powerful tragedies written by man This man got the presidency by been wily and crafty not by been prepared and visionary The corrosive psychological and political effects produced when deception rather than ability is chosen as a way to fulfil the ambition for power is now plain for us all to see You might agree or disagree with my viewpoint, yet without vision the leader[s] will run a country aground Even the good book says the blind leader will only lead those following into a ditch ![]() Read the transformation agenda and tell me if vision inspires you and strikes at your heart Obasanjo, as much as I loathe his overbearing corrupt nature was right, You can help someone to get a job,but you CANNOT help that person to do his job And the simple truth is governing Nigeria as president is beyond the ability of its current occupant at this point in time |
Thank you Omenka for this thread The President is busy issuing press releases against the APC because he was indirectly told that he's been a non starter so far when Akande called him a kindergarten president This are stong words but not out of place People are dying like chickens up north Roads [esp federal ones] are death traps The 'so called' economic growth is not reflecting in the life of the average citizen Revenue is daily been lost to oil vandals University students went on strike just as the polytechnic students resumed from their and all the president could think of was castigate the opposition for calling him [not the office he holds] names Do you expect the opposition to say you smell like roses [even if that is the truth which currently is not?] With all the challenges confronting Nigeria all he could do was that? Delusion has no other name IMHO But when one is idle even when you have tasks to do, what do you expect? God bless Nigeria |
Thanks Agrippa Your contribution nails it The sooner it happens, the better |
I've always known from my teenage years that any Governor who'd fix Lagos would be castigated and crucified for soe decisions he'd take Fashola is no saint but so too are many of his critics Which Nigerian party or governor has an active currently implemented policy toward the poor? Even from those people castigating him, how many show kindness to the poor? How many from those do not look down at them? ![]() It is not that I support Fashola's action toward the vulnerable even as he is implementing the law but many of us do worse even in our private actions and endeavours when we encounter the have nots Yet poverty and impoverishment is what many a politician have bequeathed to this nation since 1999 And so many of us, regardless of our duplicitous rage against Fashola truly don't give a phuck, that is just the truth |
The president's reply validates Akande's claim People are dying like chickens up north Roads [esp federal ones] are death traps The 'so called' economic growth is not reflecting in the life of the average citizen Revenue is daily been lost to oil vandals University students went on strike just as the polytechnic students resumed from their and all the president could think of was castigate the opposition for calling him [not the office he holds] names Do you expect the opposition to say you smell like roses [even if that is the truth which currently is not?] Delusion has no other name IMHO But when one is idle even when you have tasks to do, what do you expect? |

So sad Nigeria the urban jungle where the barbaric nature of men reigns Premeditated murder at its best |
HNosegbe: I don't know why this administration feels the need to respond to every single report, as if this is what they were elected to do.What do you expect of and from a government which is afraid even of its own shadow? Even though this report points to a 15 year window, recall that the PDP has held sway for 14 of those years GEJ reminds one of Macbeth Written by Shakespeare between 1603-1607 it is still yet one of the darkest and most powerful tragedies written by man This man got the presidency by been wily and crafty The corrosive psychological and political effects produced when deception is chosen as a way to fulfil the ambition for power is now plain for us all to see You might agree or disagree with my viewpoint, yet without vision the leader[s] will run a country aground Even the good book says the blind leader will only lead those following into a ditch ![]() Read the transformation agenda and tell me if vision inspires you and strikes at your heart Obasanjo, as much as I loathe his overbearing corrupt nature was right, You can help someone to get a job,but you CANNOT help that person to do his job |

^^^^^^^^ BTW,is your acct domiciled in pounds or dollars? A friend advised dollar domiciliation in that dollars are easily to source in funding one's account (though if I may add, more susceptible to flunctuations than other major currencies too) |

melojames: Whites & their fearless adventures. fabby26: That's the reason they keep on discovering new things and innovations. The charges migth not be a big deal to u anyways but it was to me as the whole money was from my sweat.Yeah it does help From your breakdown,my quick take is that you paid about £172-180 pounds for bank charges along with the 4k telex money Eventually that knuckles down to about 255.3 naira for a pound Currently,I'm having some issues regarding my current a/c references (which has stalled my ability to open a dom acct) that's why I seek to go through someone to wire the chedah That apart,I heard this bank's have diff crazy charges on dom acct However I eventually do it,I'll post it here for others to gain insight That apart, you na big boi ![]() £13,700 pounds tution in about a week to oyinbo for student visa ![]() Chai, maga don truly pay ![]() Multiply that by the tens of thousands like you and me going to UK for studies along with our living expenses in tow and know that the joke is on us We develop our former colonialist's local economy on his ungrateful terms and conditions because of the joke this nation currently is due to imbecilic governance Shame ![]() |

From the reactions so far most of what I see here are attacks on the messenger so as to deflect from the message El Rufai only gave voice in public to what many Nigerians have known in private;thay the Ijaws are pursuing an underground secessionist agenda with the proceeds of stolen oil wealth. That and the inability of Ebele Jonathan to rise above provincial ethnic leadership as the presidenytis the main points he raised. That is what we should discuss instead of attacking him a a person |
