with all the insult please look at the pictures below

thou it can not be enjoyed  yet but at least  i have hit green and have seen some of the channels.
with the same old 90cm .
I Hacked:
this are places where  nilesat can be track with 90cm only if you have Invacom LNBF or Spitfire Elite Single Output 0.1dB Universal LNB

north of Kenya,north of Uganda,Mali.Mauritania
@I Hacked on 12 august 2011 page 16 of this thread you claimed that nilesat signals can be tracked with 90cm dish only with spitfire lnb or invacom in these countries above, north of uganda, north of kenya, mali and mauritania according to www.satbeams.com and nilesat website nilesat 201 footprint covers these countries, where 101 and 102 covers mali and mauritania and recommended dish sizes are below 90cm.Secondly you stated that you tracked  this frequency 11278V/27500 the fact is that this frequency does exist on nile satellites 101/102/201 using www.flysat.com. since i have tracked nilesat previously and for the fact that your location is not stated on this forum, i thereby reserve my comments grin

I hia u my broda. but mark my words, channels which will be available for the NWA beam from AB7 will be ones from Sudan, S. Sudan, Somali, Eritrea, Ethiopia, and the likes broadcasting totally in arabic. The ones that will be so irksome you'd always want to switch channels. I pray they prove me wrong ,
U are right , but the countries in the NWA beam coverage is likely to  rent transponders @ AB7 NWA beam. lipsrsealed. the funny part is  that the NWA beam has only (12 transponders) while MENA beam has (44 transponders) huge gap. huh,  however the 12 transponders  from (NWA BEAM)   is for ku band broadband services. what does this mean?Internet services etc. there will be no tv channel on the NWA BEAM cry
@ All, have any one noticed something about the footprint of AB7? If you watch the footprint closely, you will find out that the footprint meandered away from West Africa. The footprint covered the whole of East Africa where the big brother has no or less customers and in West Africa where they have multitude of their customers, the AB7 footprint meandered away from it simple because they are afraid of loosing their customers and thereby deny us what we suppose to be enjoying freely. I strongly believe that they will not allow any good english speaking channel to cross West African beam on that AB7. I know they are not happy with the existence of MultiTv but they cannot do anything against it. Can you imagine that they are against don**le which this honourable forum is against too and at the same time they never want us to enjoy what other are enjoying freely. No wonder some people call them Dsthieves.
The fact is that ab7 and all satellite at 7west, that is nilesat 101/101/201 is owned by  egypt, and egypt is a middle-east country and also an arab country.another fact is that the egyptians designed  all satellite at 7west, to be received only by the middle-easts  an all arab countries in africa/asia, i believe that the egyptians is only trying to reach to their brothers the arabs and the middle-east parts of africa and asia, the old bird nilesat 101,atlantic-bird 4a and 102 did not cover all the middle-east parts of africa and asia that includes south sudan and somalia, the error has been corrected from nilesat 201 and atlatic-bird 7 satellites. what do i mean?, any country that don't speak arab or part of the middle-east will be out of the footprint.on the other hand,if you take another close look at ab7  and nilesat201 map, you can see that kenya is lucky to be in the footprint why? cos they extended the footprint to somalia and south sudan which is part of middle-east, and it is impossible to remove kenya out of the footprint and still maintain coverage at south sudan and somalia. it has nothing to do with dstv.it is a middle-east issue.

Hi all,
It looks like Atlantic Bird 7 has already started operations. This morning some transponders were not operational whiles others were having improved signal quality.I will be able to know for certain which frequencies have moved, those that are staying and those that will be joining later in the evening. You can check for it's status and in orbit parameters on http://www.n2yo.com/database/?q=Atlantic+Bird and http://www.n2yo.com/?s=37816 respectively.
atlantic-bird 7 orbital test  will take place @13.2degrees west, from source a full series of test will take place before the satellite is moved to 7west, in the second half of october, and according to www.n2yo.com, the satellite is now @ longitude (-11.77). it has not arrived @7west, the satellite is still moving to 7west. grin

im getting confused ooo. i just checked lyngsat for the footprint of nilesat 201 and from the picture, it appears that 201 is a bit closer to us and all the sport tps are now there. are u saying what is posted on lyngsat is wrong?m
The footprint of nilesat 201/101/102 on (www.lyngsat.com) are from  (www.nilesat.com.eg/Home.aspx),that is nilesat website, for satellite footprints also refer to (www.satbeams.com)if you take a close  look  at the nilesat  coverage map it seems that nilesat 101/102 satellite are closer to NIGER  which is a neighboring country to nigeria, regardless of the footprint maps that is not the main reason why nilesat 201 satellite is more difficult to receive in nigeria etc, it is the satellite technical specification, nilesat 101 and 102 has KU-band EIRP contour (dbW) of 47.1 to 50.1 whilist the nilesat 201 has 45-49(dBW),the EIRP value of nilesat 101 and 102 are higher than nilesat 201, that means the nilesat 201 has less power than nilesat 101 and 102 as per coverage area. what does dbw means: it refers to the power radiated from satellite in the direction towards the contour line.EIRP means ;equivalent isotropic radiated power.45 dBW is same as 31622 watt transmitter feeding an omni-directional antenna,a reduction from 4dBW Means you need a satellite dish 2 times the area, a 6dB Reduction   requires a satellite dish 4 times the area.when checked footprint , EIRP LEVEL and recommended dish size from satbeams it seems that NIGER requires 70cm dish to receive nilesat 101 and 102 (EIRP=48dBW) while it requires 80cm dish to receive nilesat 201(EIRP=46dBW), at all coverage area recommended dish sizes required to receive nilesat 201 has increased by at least 5cm when compared to nilesat 101/102,from EIRP LEVEL dBW; nilesat 101 and 102 transmitting power are stronger than nilesat 201 at coverage areas, That has effected  the fringe receptions.for satellite beams internet coverage patterns refer to, (www.satsig.net/satellite-internet-access.htm) Below are nilesat 201/101/102 footprints.

Hi Casin,

The MBC HD channels are free to air once you buy the MBC Technosat receiver. No monthly charges. The main reason for them encrypting the MBC HD channels is because of copyright issues with the movie providers.
The Movies are very clear which would open up piracy for sale of bootleg Dvds recorded form the MBC HD Channels.
No provider will give it's subscribers hd movie channels for free, the MBC HD channels are availlable free on technosat T-786 HD satellite receiver which comes with a card which is vallied  for 3years on conax encryption. That is no monthly fees for 3years.After 3yrs the card  becomes invalid then what  .I got this info from a good source.  grin. As for piracy issues i don't think anyone is going to pirate or sale old movies on dvd recorded from a satellite channel for the sake of HD.

Good Evening Adex70 and Iron2011,
I wanted to post an article of the workings of these LNBs but the concepts are a bit technical and complicated i might end up confusing most people in the long run.I'll therefore ask you guys to give me a day or two to properly prepare an easy to understand article of the workings and advantages of these LNBs.However if any one else is eager to know how these LNB's look like or maybe their market prices, you can look up Norsat Ku PLL LNBs or New Japan Radio Ku PLL LNBs.Norsat has been in the market for over 30yrs and New Japan Radio has been in the market for over 50yrs.Hope to finish the article soon.
may be norsat pll ku lnbs are very good ,but the input frequency of norsat pll lnbs are not practical at all huh.a typical universal lnb input frequency is from 10.7-12.75 GHZ, but norsat lnb hardly range from 10.7 t0 12.75 GHZ.check specifications,on the other hand it is very expensive, that includes the smw pll lnb.

My people, I told you I am looking for a powerful LNB I can use to continue my tracking. I just returned to the office with one now. I wish to share this for any one who can lay their hand on it. It is very expensive but, the outcome of my research over the weekend will enable me share more of my findings. Here is the picture below and wish me good luck.
That lnb you posted is the best lnb in the nigerian market, very expensive,it was sold 10000 naira in enugu by a satellite shop, but that was long time ago, with that lnb you will track every frequency on nilesat/atlantic bird, all ADD/OSN etc with 2.4 mtr dish,i mean in enugu nigeria, it outperformed fuji prime focus lnb by long gap.it works very well on a big dish. grin

thank you thank you thank you my brodas am not using any disec is only one ku dish with HH motor

what worry me is  that if the dish is cosign the problem like my broda Adex70 said
why do other tp on the same sat gos up to 93% ?

even the week satellite like w3 w6 intelsat 16 at 66E and 26.0E are all high no breaks even when it is raining.
or is the motor eating up this tp signals?

please check the signals strength below
larryenob:
@ɪ̣̝̇
hacked
your problem is at position dat ų have 11746 green is Τ̅Ħ̀ε̅ weakest point for dat frequ all ų need to do is turn your dish little to Τ̅Ħ̀ε̅ left or right note when ų use 90cm to get above 50% will lose some % in some dstv signal(frequency)
There are two satellites placed on 36 degrees east ,eutelsat w4 and eutelsat w7. 11766V 27500 and all the dstv frequencies are on eutelsat w7 while the 12437 H is on w4,and the the two sats cannot be exactly on the same 36east ,may  be a slight gap , which is enough to effect the signal quality between the two sats, when tracking both at the same time.it is not the motor that is killing your signals, you have positioned your dish in such a way to pick other satellites when using motor, to achieve this you may have to lose some (db) / signal % on tp from other satellites.may be you should refer to what larryenob said, and if you are receiving this tp 12284H 27500 on w4 use it to track 12437 H  grin

dbryth:
Gadotor,  Check out  the pictures i have attached and let me know which on you think its the best, Thanks
@dbryth,the best ku lnb in the picture is invacom quad polar ku lnbf which has both circular and linear polarity however this lnbf is typicaly designed for america; latin america/north america/south america satellites and direct tv/ dish network america which uses R/L cicular pol and not for africa based on it's specification :the linear polarity frequency is  (high band)11.7~12.2 GHZ while the circular pol frequency is  (high band)12.2~12.7 that means you can't receive any frequency  (low band) from 10.7~11.7 GHZ ,on any satellite ,the invacom quad polar lnb don't have a low band frequency it won't work on astra 2b/w3a/intelsat 7/10 satellites etc.comparing dms single ku lnb with noise fig:0.3db,conversion gain 50 db and spitfire ku lnb noise fig 0.1db,conversion gain 58db.on my own part, the best linear lnb in the picture to use in africa/europe/asia should be spitfire lnbf. grin

plz kindly explain to me the meaning of this 4 or 5 oclock you and williams85 are saying.

@Newtonn
Sorry if my explanation will not be that clear, may be others will come in. Imagine you are standing in front of the dish. Look at it as if it's a clock. In your head put the hour numbers on the dish, 1, 2, 3 up to 12 the way they are arranged on a watch with hour hands. Now take it that when you point at 1 you are at 1 oclock, at 2 you are at 2 oclock, at 3 its 3 oclock up to 12. So, if the lnb knob is directly downwards you would say its at 6 oclock. If it is exactly up or there about you would say its 12 oclock and so on and so forth. I hope you get my 'difficult to comprehend' explanation. grin grin
