I live in Europe, Germany to be precise. What op said is true, I use to observe that anytime I tune to CNN. I have never see any European big companies advertising frequently on CNN.

I think they were colonized by Igbos, so their Bini language was changed to Igbo by the Igbo colonizers.

Is there any tribe in Nigeria that doesn’t have dialects, in Yorubaland Ijebu man Yoruba speaking is different from Ondo Yoruba and also with ogbomosho Yoruba. Even Aworis, Eguns, Ilaje have a local languages that a Yoruba person cannot even understand.

Politics apart Ikwerre language is an Igboid language that every Igbo person can understand to a level. Ikwerre, Ika, Anioma, Ngwa, Nsukka, Ngwo, Izii in Ebonyi, Igbanke in Edo etc are all Igbo dialects.

When I said that Awori and Egun people are the real owners of Lagos,Yorubas will start shouting.

Aworis are not Yoruba and Egun are not Yoruba.

All Yorubas in Lagos migrated to Lagos in large number and dominate the Aworis and Eguns.

Awori have their language and also Egun. A Yoruba man from hinterland cannot hear Awori or Egun language.

Bini People that is ruling over Lagos allow large migration to Lagos to reduce the power of indigenous people which is Aworis and Eguns. With this they were overruned before the British came and seize Lagos from the Bini people and rename the name Eko which Bini call it to Lagos.
