Sagamu dude!

Defending Aremu is fruitless man, he had all the power to do what he wanted and did only those he chose to QED.
More people probably died on his watch than Buhari/Idiagbon who were set on restoring Nigeria's glory only for the powers that be to say NO WAY, mko, obj and the likes are beyond any kind of defense, not even Johnny Cochran could have defended those two before a court presided over by Judge Ito.

WOW!

There sure are bums in this country but it is not to be compared with other countries because you are held accountable here unlike Africa or some parts of Europe for that matter, people have a huge say in what happens here unlike most places. Those talking about them paying for past mistakes will change their tune once they have kids, anyone that will molest a child is sick to say the least. Some do get rehabilitated but they have to go the extra mile to show they have repented and those you see under the bridge are probable there by choice so stop yakking about what you don't know. Even poverty here doesn't compare to Africa, we call fast food eaters poor here but only the rich can afford such in other places.
"Who feels it knows it, " The guy talking about the GOP must be new because most of those "hard core" laws at the Federal level actually came during Bill's presidency. The USA doesn't even compare to Canada let alone those small European countries grin grin grin grin

Personally, I think it was Buhari/Idiagbon, they looked like they were going to change Nigeria for the better but we all know what happened after that.

I don't care for obj or MKO, I was not home and can't speak to what I was not aware of.
PoliticsRe: Nigerians In East London. . . by ogajim(m): 6:31pm On Aug 12, 2009
I doubt you will see Nigerians in the US behave like they do in the UK, no one has time to deal with that kind of crap here. Most of them will be too tired here after pulling double shifts, they might talk loud but not this public display of barbarism so I beg to differ with the comment about them doing that in H/town though I am far from that side.

PoliticsRe: Nigerians: Very Stupid People! by ogajim(m): 12:19pm On Aug 12, 2009
You are what you repeatedly do and Nigeria as a country has done STUPID things repeatedly QED.

Let no one make excuses for these incompetent fools we've had since independence, we sometimes are too smart for our own good and fields our 10th 11 most of the time due to GREED at the top.

Blame the west all you want, they didn't force you to take the deal, someone saw something for them in the deal and it didn't matter to them even if they were mortgaging the entire country for their own selfish interest.

Only God can really help that country not an alhaji who barely has time to focus on the affairs of the state or the lack of infrastructure after almost 50 years of running it by our selves.
PoliticsRe: Fajuyi Volunteered To Die With Ironsi - Adedipe by ogajim(m): 5:42pm On Aug 11, 2009
This can't be right!
From what one can find on this subject, both Ironsi and Fajuyi were passively involved in the January '66 coup, heck Zik invited the army a couple of years prior after refusing for a while to swear in Balewa due to the vote rigging that NPC was alleged to have carried out. Didn't Fajuyi organize and instruct the "training" class from where the coup details were ironed out? I have a copy of Adenkunle's book, lots of confusion among even the participants or those who ought to know it seems. God help us all.
PoliticsRe: Nigerians: Very Stupid People! by ogajim(m): 3:23pm On Aug 11, 2009
Nigerians are stupid indeed!
Why should the "white man" help you? Is it in his interest to help you? If you can't help your self, there's nothing anybody can do to help you unless you make up your mind to get help, help your self. Folks talk abouthow old the UK, USA, Europe is as an excuse why Nigeria is still crawling but forget that these countries had milestones to celebrate by the time they were 48. We can't keep making excuses for these thieves we have as leaders, the people have got to step up like the Ondo folks did back in '83 when NPN tried to steal their mandate, MLK stated that those who stand for nothing will fall for anything, reminds you of Nigeria? I wonder which one of you will continue to support a son who is 49 and still can find his way huh huh huh huh
