Austrian company C SEED has unveiled its new N1 TV which costs more than a two bed flat would in most of the UK.

Starting at £152,000 (over N74m), the N1 is built out of the same metals used in planes and uses robotic technology to fold in and out of its base.

Available in 165, 137, and 103-inch sizes, the TV is billed as a 'minimalist sculpture' and 'kinetic work of art', which is presumably considered important for those super-rich who are looking for a classy screen to watch movies and shows on.

Designed by Porsche Design Studio, the screen is undoubtedly high quality, using 4K MicroLED technology and HDR10+ support, promising no screen glare and 'truest' blacks.

The company has shared an impressive video of the TV folding out of its base like a piece of televisual origami that can be easily hidden away.

That's all very well and good, but if you need to get a new mortgage just to watch Netflix, you might want to consider your priorities.

The C SEED N1 isn't the only TV out there clocking in over £100,000.

Last year, LG unveiled the world's biggest TV—a 325-inch monster screen called the Extreme Home Cinema.

The screen is so big that it lets you use multiple TV channels at once spread across a 26-foot-high wall in the mansion you would have to own in order to fit it, or you can scale it down to a petite 108 inches, which is more or less the height of a grizzly bear on its hind legs.

It even comes with a flight case in case you want to take it to your private island.

Southampton have completed the signing of Rangers midfielder Joe Aribo on a four-year contract.

The 25-year-old Nigeria international joins for a fee reported to be about £6m, rising to £10m with add-ons.

Aribo spent three seasons at Ibrox after moving from Charlton in 2019, helping Rangers win the Scottish Premiership in 2021 and scoring in last season's Europa League final defeat.

"It's an amazing club with a lot of history here," Aribo said.

"The Premier League is the best league in the world. I've been watching it since I was a young boy. It's always been a goal for me to play here and show what I can do on this stage.

"It's an amazing feeling, a dream come true. This is where I've wanted to be since I was a child growing up playing, so to say that I'm here now is really exciting."

Southampton manager Ralph Hasenhuttl said he was "very pleased" to add a player with "many qualities" to his squad.

"We believe Joe can bring energy and creativity to our side. Feeling comfortable in so many different positions is very helpful for a manager and shows he has a high level of football intelligence, with the ability to take on new information quickly," said Hasenhuttl.

"He has played a lot of games already in his career, at a very high level, and his performances in the Europa League prove he has the quality to play in the Premier League. This is a big ambition for him, and he is hungry to show everybody he can do it."

Rangers boss Giovanni van Bronckhorst told Sky Sports on Thursday that Aribo was expected to depart Ibrox, paying tribute to a "very important player" who scored 26 goals in 148 appearances for the club.

"What he's done for this club has been fantastic," Van Bronckhorst said.

Aribo, who had one year remaining on his Rangers contract, becomes Saints' fifth summer signing after Mateusz Lis, Armel Bella-Kotchap, Romeo Lavia and Gavin Bazunu.

A nurse plunged nearly 70 feet to her death after falling from a water park zip line whose launch platform was hastily assembled just hours before.

Yasmili Araujo, 23, died in front of her boyfriend and friends at the Piracema Park Club water park in Rio Branco, northern Brazil, on July 2.

She had climbed to the top of the zip line launch platform without any protection and suddenly disappeared through a hole, it was reported.

She was treated at the scene initially by firemen before paramedics rushed her to hospital. However, she sadly died of a heart attack on the way.

The water park have closed the attraction after the accident and said they will not reopen it until the investigation into how the tragic accident occurred has been completed.

In a statement, a spokesperson for the water park wrote: "Piracema Park Club provided all support and attention to the young woman's family and, after the accident, closed the activities of the attraction, which will only return to operation after investigation by the relevant authorities regarding the causes of the accident."

Lieutenant Eurico Fernando of the Fire Department said the launch platform had not been signed off by an engineer.

However, the park did not respond to this allegation.

Lieutenant Fernando added that the platform had only been hastily installed that morning as the fire department try to work out what happened.

He said: "It was assembled at the last minute, it was ready on the morning of July 2.

"They did it very quickly, possibly this rush in the assembly of this structure is a preponderant factor in trying to explain what happened."

Images show the hole at the top of the platform through which Yasmili is believed to have fallen.

The case has been reported to the police and is currently under investigation.

The next Africa Cup of Nations will be played in Ivory Coast in 2024, and not 2023, Confederation of African Football (Caf) president Patrice Motsepe said on Sunday.

The tournament was to be hosted in June-July 2023, which is the height of the rainy season in Ivory Coast.

"We cannot take the risk," the South African said in the Moroccan capital Rabat.

With the World Cup in Qatar taking place in November and December this year, the decision has been taken to postpone the finals rather than bring them forward.

It means the Nations Cup will be held in January and February for the second time in a row, after this year's tournament in Cameroon.

In 2017, Caf announced that it would move the finals from their traditional January-February slot to June-July in a bid to avoid repeated disputes with European clubs forced to release players in the middle of the season.

"January is not the ideal time because of the European clubs, but it is the only choice we have," Motsepe added.

A woman and her daughter, six, were gang-raped in a moving car after a group of men offered them a lift home.

The pair had been visiting Piran Kaliyar, a holy site in India's Uttarakhand province, on Friday (June 24) when the men offered to get them home safe.

According to Police Superintendent Pramendra Doval, alleged driver Sonu already had passengers in his vehicle when he offered to take the mum and daughter, who have not been named, with him.

The mum had no idea how many men were already in the car, according to local reports.

Whilst the car was still moving the men attacked and raped the pair before dumping them at a nearby canal.

The mum then somehow managed to make it to a police station in the middle of the night to report the gang-rape, with police continuing to investigate the shocking incident.

She was the one who identified the alleged driver as Sonu, however, none of the alleged rapists have been located.

The mum and daughter were rushed to the nearby Roorkee Civil Hospital, where medics confirmed they had both been the victims of sexual assault.

This comes following the arrest of a woman accused of arranging for five men to gang-rape her love rival in Hyderabad, India.

The accused woman, named by police as Gayatri, developed a suspicion that her husband Srikanth had started a relationship with the victim.

Police claim she coerced five of her employees to take part in a brutal sexual assault. She lured the female victim into a room and recorded what happened.

She reportedly threatened the victim that she would share the clip online if the victim reported the crime to the police.

The victim was severely injured and taken by her family to a private hospital. The family went on to lodge a complaint with the Gachibowli police.

Police arrested six people - Gayatri, Ulsala Manoj Kumar, 22, Syed Masthan, 25, Sheikh Mujahid, 25, Sheikh Moula Ali, 32, and Pridhvi Vishnu Vardhan, 22.

According to reports a supercar belonging to Cristiano Ronaldo valued at £1.8million, has crashed into a house in Majorca.

The car, a Bugatti Veyron, was said to have being driven by an employee of the Portugal national team captain, when it crashed into the entrance of a house on Monday.

The driver lost control and skipped into a wall in the residential estate of Sa Coma, Bunyola, Palma de Majorca.

The front of the Bugatti was believed to have been wrecked while the driver of the vehicle has suffered no serious injuries.

The Bugatti Veyron is part of Cristiano Ronaldo's £17million car collection which also includes an Aston Martin, Ferrari Monza and a Bentley.

A double wedding took a dramatic twist when one of the intended grooms ran away moments before the ceremony – and a guest stepped in to marry the bride.

Two brothers, Ashok and Naveen were set to be married in a village in Tarikere taluk of Chikkamagaluru district in Karnataka, India on Sunday, January 3.

Sure enough, Naveen tied the knot, but as the ceremony began his brother Ashok was nowhere to be found.

It turned out that Ashok had a secret girlfriend who had reportedly threatened to turn up to the wedding venue and drink poison rather than allow the young man to go through with the ceremony.

Ashok's heartbroken bride-to-be, Sindhu was left sobbing in the wedding venue.

Surprisingly, reports the Bangalore Mirror, Sindhu's family managed to locate someone willing to step up and give the young woman a wedding to remember after all.

After some discussions, one of the wedding guests – a man named Chandrappa, who works as a conductor for the Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation – agreed to marry Sindhu.

Amazingly, the dramatic soap-opera plot is nothing new. In 2019, another Indian bride, from Sironj city of Madhya Pradesh, eloped with the man who had been hired to conduct the ceremony.

The priest, a man named Vinod Maharaj who was already married and had two children, didn't just take the 21-year-old bride. The couple eloped with jewellery worth 150,000 rupees (just over £1,500) and 30,000 rupees (around £300) in cash.

An investigation later revealed that the runaway bride had been in a romantic relationship with the priest for two years.

A teacher who sexted two vulnerable schoolboys and forced their hands down her trousers has been jailed after being labelled the "master of deceit."

Carol Ann White, 39, carried out her "predatory campaign" against the pupils under the age of 12 while employed in two separate North Lanarkshire primary schools.

A police investigation was launched and it was revealed that she had been sexting one boy during the first UK lockdown.

The teacher was busted after cops discovered a total of 1,185 messages had been exchanged between the pair over a three-week period.

White asked him to touch himself intimately on FaceTime, sent revealing photos of herself and sent one photo captioned 'C**kblock of the year goes to Covid-19'.

In later interviews with police, the boy, who has special educational needs, revealed he had been kissed 50 times by her on the lips during a school trip.

He also said White had groped him while watching a film and had also forced his hand down the front of her trousers.

The probe led police to another boy who said White had kissed him on the lips in a school store cupboard.

In a series of interviews with officers, the boy revealed White had held his head against her groin and rubbed him with her breasts.

White, of Uddingston, Lanarkshire, had denied two charges of engaging in sexual activity with the boys spanning between 2018 and 2020 but she was found guilty by jurors following a week-long trial.

The mum-of-two wept as she was jailed by Sheriff Morag Shankland and placed on the sex offenders' register indefinitely.

White will also be on licence for 18 months following her release from prison after the sheriff ruled she posed a risk to the public.

Following the sentencing hearing, the mother of one of the boys said: "I'm just glad she got jailed.

"Concerns had been raised in the school about her being overly familiar with pupils but yet she was allowed to move on and target a vulnerable boy.

"The whole thing is shocking and I feel as if I've had no support for the last two years."

First offender White, who still denies any sexual activity took place, had earlier pleaded guilty to possessing eight indecent images of the other boy.

A text sent by White to the boy after one image was sent read: "You clearly don't need me to help, someone else must have made you Hot."

In a video shown to jurors, the boy said: "Miss White said if you touch me I will touch you and then grabbed my hand and put it down her trousers. It happened once."

The other told how he had been targeted after a discussion about White and her love for Celtic FC.

He said: "She was manipulative. I thought she was a good person who would do nothing wrong but you can't judge a book by its cover.

"If you were Miss White's teacher's pet then she would favour you. It felt quite good. Looking back I feel disgusted."

In evidence, White, branded the 'master of deceit' by prosecutors, broke down as she repeatedly denied the allegations against her.

She said: "My reaction is that they are absolutely not true, not any of it."

Graham Robertson, defence advocate, said: "Even as of today's date, Mrs White is consistent with her position and she has always denied the overtly sexual nature of the charges.

"There has been a massive breach of trust and she knows that.

"What she has been convicted of is reprehensible and she understands the position that she is in and she has had to leave the profession she loved."

Derek Brown, deputy chief executive of North Lanarkshire Council, said: "This has been an appalling abuse of trust by someone who exploited her position and carried out a targeted, predatory campaign to betray two vulnerable children who should have felt safe and supported in her care."
