Hmmmm, Resign when no other job has come? ![]() A former colleague tried it. He resigned because of insults and abuses he was receiving from his boss then in our office. But i repeatedly told him that insults and abuses don't stick to any man; that he should bear them. 6 jobless months later, u needed to see how he looked . Poverty was written all over his face. So, dear poster, the choice is YOURS |

Mike Eneramo Victor Anichebe Ike Uche (they said he was not fit) Peter Utaka |

homerac7:But some folks are very funny; you know! What correlation has Deji of Akure's case got to do with this discussion on ATM frauds? Na wa ooo |
Can anyone compare the discipline and commitment Brazilian players exhibit to what our Super |
honeric01:Of what good use will be Largerback's decision not to field Martins? It is already too late and a more committed player has been denied that once a life time opportunity. |
MARTINS RISKS WORLD CUP KNOCK OUT (complete Sports) Super Eagles Coach Lars Lagerback Not Impressed With Wolfsburg Striker’s Attitude Wolfsburg striker Obafemi Martins will be given the cold shoulder by Nigeria coach Lars Lagerback at his debut World Cup unless he has a change of attitude, officials have disclosed. Officials have informed that Lagerback has been far from impressed with the attitude of Martins in training and came close to dropping him from the World Cup, but for the injury of Victor Anichebe. “Martins would have been dropped for Anichebe because Lagerback complained about his attitude. Others pulled their weight in training, but the Wolfsburg striker was not bothered,” a top team official revealed. “Contrary to what Everton are now saying, Anichebe is nursing a cracked shin and will be out of action for at least three weeks. The Eagles fitness trainer detected this. That was why Lagerback dropped him from the squad to the World Cup. Were he fit, he would have been taken to South Africa ahead of Martins. “Lagerback starred the names of both Martins and Anichebe on his list and his explanation was that he has been far from happy with Martins attitude to training. He told the NFF leadership that Martins attitude is “very bad” and except he changes, he will not be in his plans for the World Cup.” It is understood that much-criticised Everton striker Yakubu Aiyegbeni and Obinna Nsofor of Spanish club Malaga are now ahead of Martins in the pecking order to lead the Nigeria attack at the World Cup. Last November, “Obagoal” struck twice as Nigeria booked their ticket to the 2010 World Cup in dramatic fashion on the final day of qualifying action against Kenya in Nairobi. The 25-year-old former Newcastle United star striker, who made a goal-scoring debut against the Republic of Ireland in May 2004, posted a subdued performance at the Africa Cup of Nations in Angola earlier this year after he was a controversial choice ahead of Esperance striker Michael Eneramo for the championship. Keen watchers of the Eagles say Martins appears not to have completely shaken off a serious shin injury that needed operation late last year. Martins has scored 16 goals in 31 appearances for Nigeria, averaging a goal every other game. South Africa 2010 will be his World Cup debut after the Eagles failed to fly to the 2006 edition in Germany. |
You guys on NL won't stop amusing me. |
Na waoo, Am waiting; we are already in the month of June. Make una hold una breath. |
N100k is a lot of money in this present economic wahala. Abeg, don't make my mistake I paid the huge price after the wedding as i was left koboless. It was not funny my guy, there was no food at home. My saving grace was that i did not borrow any money. My candid and experienced advice, quietly go for a registry marriage. A friend just did his registry marriage. U won't believe how much he spent at the end of the day! N50k was all he spent. A word is enough for the wise. |
There is no truth is this story which was written in the comfort of this reporter's bedroom. Am a worker with RCCG and i can confirm that Pastor Adeboye never mentioned a thing like of late. I was at the last worker's meeting at the camp, nothing of such was mentioned. PM News indeed! |
Bluetooth is entitled to his opinion. |
There is need to always weigh the pros and cons of any issue. Looking at the bad sides only won't give a fair view and digestion at all. The importance of Police in our community cannot be over emphasized. To fully appreciate the enormous contribution, let all the Police men and women in Nigeria go for just a month strike. |
It is totally absurd and it beats my imagination that people could come here and openly defend same marriage stuff. Anyway, i take solace in the Bible which clearly tells us some signs of the end-time of which increasing same marriage (homosexuality) is one of them. |
Obama is human my dear. Don't be carried away ok. He needs deliverance too. Please, don't forget to see a good pastor this Sunday for prayers because u need to be freed from homosexuality. |
oisehumen:Yes ooo. Abeg tell them. Including right to jump into lagoon or Atlantic Ocean. |
oisehumen:. It takes a gay to identify a gay. How come they did not give u breathing space? Can't u get the message? johnkent:. What right are you talking about? As for President Obama; he is an embarrassment to the Christian fold |

johnkent:From your comments, you are obviously one of these lost people called homosexuals. Repent now and be found alive please. |
Perverse! Repugnance!! Grimy!! Disaster! Invoking the anger of God! These are some few words i can muster to explain what i feel about the above topic. The Bible vehemently frowns at it and am sure Islam does same. The truth, those who are involved in this evil act are demonized and they need urgent deliverance. No wonder the Nigerian constitution forbids it |
Hmmmm, Uweh, are you now justifying his inclusion at the detriment of Anichebe? Kanu may have done well in the past; but we are talking of present form. I think we should analyze it in this direction |
No need to say it jare. They should let it happen before saying it; otherwise it will be another April FOOL on us. |
Very sensitive and controversial issue. The risks involved thereof are far more than the benefits, so my answer is NO. If the woman accepts financial support from her ex-boyfriend, there are chances that the two former lovebirds could re-enact their once sizzling relationship. |
Kanu Would Have Made World Cup As Ambassador Written by Salifu Usman Nigeria skipper Nwankwo Kanu, would still have travelled with the rest of the squad to the 2010 World Cup as the 24th player and Nigerian football ambassador in recognition of his contributions to the country had he been dropped by coach Lars Lagerback. Kanu has been picked by Nigeria coach, Lars Lagerback, for his final 23-man squad for the World Cup in South Africa. Kanu, 33, made his full international debut for Nigeria against Sweden in May 1994 in a friendly. He won a winners' medal at the 1993 FIFA Under-17 World Cup in Japan. He then led Nigeria to an historic Olympic Gold in Atlanta in 1996 and will now feature at his third World Cup after appearances in 1998 and 2002. He has said the 2010 World Cup will be his last at international level. However, top NFF officials exclusively informed MTNFootball.com that had Kanu been dropped from the final party to South Africa, the football association had already worked out a "Plan B", where the Portsmouth star would have served as one of several ambassadors at the tournament. "Lagerback had warned us that Kanu may not be part of his plans for the World Cup when he took over the team because he said he will have no use for a player who can only give 15 minutes in a game. However, he was also told that Kanu has a winning aura and that was why he kept him on," a source revealed. "But had it been otherwise, we would still have supported Lagerback's decision totally to drop him because we have always given him a free hand to do his job." Another official gave a clear picture of the role Kanu would have played in South Africa had he been dropped. "He would not have been registered as a player. But he would have been paid all the bonuses and allowances that will be paid to the 23 players selected for the tournament. He would have been one of our ambassadors," said the top official. Former internationals Garba Lawal, Ike Shorunmu as well as former national team coaches Shuaibu Amodu and Christian Chukwu are the football ambassadors designated by the NFF for South Africa 2010. Kanu will captain the side at his third World Cup, the Nigerian Football Federation said on Monday. |
Some Nigerians always make me laugh and think! .What is so special about Anichebe anyway? This guy is still young for God's sake. He can still make the next 2 editions of the World Cup if he is fit. Ask Agbolahor and Cathy Cole how they feel now. They were used as Guinea Pigs; training materials for friendly matches. I bet, these guys can never make the English squad to any tournament. Back to your funny question poster; NO regret whatsoever. He was given the chance to prove his ability just like Lukman and the rest 22 players but he failed to deliver. Better years ahead of him jare! |
Let's just sidon look and hope for the best. Like i said b4, i have made up my mind to wish Nigeria goodbye after first round matches. If the otherwise happens, to God be the glory still. Am too young to have HBP; on top of wetin now? |
Same story, same scenario everywhere! Capello should have done this or that; Largerback should have done this or that! Every coach has his own tactical plans for every tournament. I bet you; a different and intelligence coach would have made a huge success even with the caliber of players Amodu took to Angola. Everything points to the input from the technical side. |
We are in this situation because our head coach was not given enough opportunity to really examine Nigerian players both home based and abroad. The list of 45 that he drafted was reduced to 30 without giving the dropped players an avenue to express their skills. So, what do u expect? He is doing his best as far as am concerned. The problem is our NFF who are inept and have no brains. |
But wait a minute; are u guys expecting Nigeria to go beyond first round? After qualification, i expected the NFF to quickly resolve the issue of foreign coach, but they delayed. From that period, i knew we can't go beyond first round because preparation is KEY to success when it comes to a big tournament like the World Cup. I looking forward to enjoying good football by other serious countries like Spain, Brazil, etc. |
Maybe our coach wants to play 4 or more strikers in one match, lol |
Hmmmm, I really don't know what to say when it comes to Nigerian football. I actually gave up on our Super Eagles when Amodu took over. But we have about 7 midfielders too. I think the coach means well for us. |

. Poverty was written all over his face.
? I didn't know God said it was okay to kill your fellow human because of his sexual orientation.
