INTER MILAN have sensationally swooped for Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez.

The Serie A champions made their move at the weekend - just when everyone thought they were chasing England manager Fabio Capello.

SunSport first revealed Inter wanted Benitez two weeks ago but now the Italian giants have closed in and are waiting to see whether Benitez is tempted.

Inter president Massimo Moratti said: "Benitez is a manager I have always considered very good but for the moment he is engaged."

Waooo, Contributions from people on this topic have really inspired me more in life. Financial transparency to one's spouse is very key in achieving this goal. Before i got married i was afraid i couldn't take care of a family cos of my poor salary. Then, one day God opened my eyes to see many security guards in my office with salaries of not more than 20k, yet have  families of 3 or even more.

Is never too late to realize one's mistakes and make amends. 80k is huge sum in today's Nigeria provided you set your priorities  right.

I think only married and experienced people are qualified to advise here. With due respect, bachelors and spinsters may not have anything serious to contribute.
Majority of the people who are against his marriage with just 40k are most likely to be bachelors and spinsters.

Yes, u can but depending on a number of crucial factors; some of which have been mentioned here. Do u have a high taste, do u have an accommodation, have u saved some money, what are your plans after marriage, do u have the educational or professional qualifications that u think can guarantee u good job after marriage? These are some of the issues u need to sit down and critically examine.

I got married with a monthly salary of 36k, had an  accommodation, had a small car given to me by one of my elder brothers, was living a modest life ( cut my dress according to my material not according to size). The wedding was successful courtesy of the goodwill and generosity of friends and relatives. They soon disappeared after marriage, leaving me to face the reality of life; life after marriage with just 36k a month. My wife too was earning very little but we managed and hoped on God for the best. Honestly, it was not easy, there were times things were so hard for us but we continued praying and believed God who has promised favour to a man who finds a wife. Today, things have changed, my office, against all odds increased my salary from 36k to 120k and my wife equally got increment in her salary.

The truth is, if u want to wait till u have enough or earn 200k per month before getting married, am sorry u may not ever marry. My candid advice, set out your plans, believe God and go on with the wedding arrangements. God will support you all the way. He always delights in marriage cos it is an institution He founded and would do everything and anything to protect and bless it. Good luck!
