i can't believe what i just read, whats happening on this page. You all claim you're wiser than your fathers that dropped the traditional way of life for christianity.
Too know will not kill you guys.

You can not serve God and mamon. I have always said it that thecatholic church, if they do not change their way of worship would continue to produce more atheist and pagans. A life time is not enough to completely know God and his ways, for they are new every morning. Is that when i will begin to do sacrifices to an image or run after masquerades.

This is what poor upbringing does to a child. The Bible says train up a child in the way it should go, and when he is old, he would not depart from it.

As for you the joker above. God will not allow you.
PoliticsRe: Fashola To Endorse New Lagos Traffic Law Thursday by oiseworld: 5:40pm On Jul 31, 2012
olaheavy: The only area of this new traffic law that needs to be amended is the 'no smoking while driving' part. I think they need to expand it to no text-messaging, talking on phone, using a Black Berry or any other gadgets, no giving or receiving of bj and no eating while driving. That's all. As for those that are complaining, you're right most of them are Igbos from the East. So, they neeed to get the hell out of our Yorubaland if they can't abide by our rules..
Oga don't talk like that, why do u want ibo's to leave lagos?, the govt wants them to stay.do you think your yoruba and aboki guys can afford all this money. All thanks to the ibos.
And again have you ever spent christmas inand new year in lagos? Then the ibos must have gone back to the east, Lagos becomes very dry, like a graveyard. The govt also don't like it, they pray seriously for january to come.
This is my fear for Lagos if Nigeria breaks up and the Igbos and south south return to their home land. Lagos becomes finished. Then, all this laws would not be necessary, because the whole roads would be free and clear, and you can drive the way you want.

Enjoy the law, you voted him.

sessydoo: Na wa ooo, to think that some people are standing for these thieves in Govt (NOI inclusive) is sad. What has she achieved so far as the Coordinating Minister of the economy? Who are the members of her Coordinating team? Rogues and thieves, pls check it up. How has NOI policy affected the masses? more hardship, approving all the lootings, fraudulent buy over of banks in collaboration wt SLS, no food, no roads, no jobs, no light, no security and the joker wanted to lead world bank...on which credential if i may askhuh. Honestly this country is a big joke and i fear for the unborn generation. Let all their paid agents on the internet be drumming up support for them, a day of reckoning is fast approaching when the poor will have nothing to eat BUT the rich
calm down pls,
this Gej admistration will tell alot about the future of this country, our children are in God's hand. And we will work to see that they live happily.

Sanusi would be taken care off, he has reduced his noise for now because a bigger Dog is around. We know his intentions and that of the northerners against our banks. We will pay them back right in their own coin.

NOI is tring we need to support her. Those policies are good policies, they are not ment to kill us.

flexya: Its obvious none of the commentators av worked in govt and don't understand some points. Before any money can be released 2 a contractor, the Minister needs 2 be "settled" ie the contractor needs 2 go thru due process. NOI needs 2 space some of these settlements over a period 2 avoid suspicion from EFCC ie give them a cut. Secondly, she also needs 2 "vet" the contractors afterall, she can't be seen 2 be demandin documents (ie money) from certain companies. The person who drew a comparison wit lagos was only half right. Before the contract is awarded in Lagos, the contractor who av shown all his "papers" 2 Asiwaju andgone thru due process. This helps speed up release of funds once its awarded. So u think NOI will just sign releases for Billions just 2 aid development? Is she there for development or herself first? When she leaves the post, she (and the rest of the country) expects her and her next two generations 2 live in opulence. Hate it or like it, its reality. Now don't shoot me, I am only a messanger wit some insight into govt operations. If we want things changed, we must rise up as a unit (not sit as armchair critics) OR pray for soldiers!
bros stop being a dunce ! Which of our construction company is new ? Soo its during NOI time that they have forgotten the usual back door method. Even Julius Berger wets the floor before they step on wet ground, soo thats not the issue. The issue is does the ground want to be WET. Or the ground has refused to swallow the water that is been poured, this time requesting for due process.

Look,Something different is happenen in our country today and we all know it.
Its nolonger scratch me i scratch you.

I am waiting for the deluded DEDEIKE to prove the below wrong and tell me why the most expensive govt in the world should be applauded by mere maintenace projects which 50% was initiated by past administrations.

EARNING CHAT:
In the United States, while the
minimum wage is $1,257 (N191, 667), a US lawmaker earns $15,080 (N2.3m) per month. In the United Kingdom, a lawmaker earns $8,686(N1.3m) monthly while the gross national minimum wage is $1,883 (N283, 333) per month. Also, Nigerian lawmakers earn higher than their counterparts in Sweden. With a monthly pay of $7,707 (N1.2m), a lawmaker in Sweden will need to work for over 12 years to equal what a Nigerian senator earn per annum.
The president of the United States
takes home an anual salary of $

A senator's anual salary = over N182
million multiply by 109 senators (don't forget the House of rep, ministers, ambassadors, ...)
In addition to the regular and
legitimate salaries and allowances of
over N17 million ($113,333) and
N14.99 million ($99,933) which
senators and reps were collecting
yearly and the irregular allowance of
estacodes, duty tours etc, they were
also collecting over N192m ($1.28m)
and N140m ($0.93m) respectively in
illicit quarterly allocation which is not
provided for by RMAFC.
Effectively, a Nigerian senator was
taking home at least $1.40m ($1.28m
quarterly allocations + $0.113m
regular salaries and allowances) as
against the $0.174m an American
senator takes home hence a Nigeria
senator earns at least 8 times as much as an American senator and more than 3 times the American president.
Whereas a Senator in the U.S earns
N21, 146,000, the same as a member
of the House of Representatives; a UK
Member of Parliament earn £64,766
(N14, 896,180) In other words, a Federal Legislator in Nigeria is paid more than double what a Member of British Parliament earns per annum.
Senate President David Mark alone
takes N250 million quarterly or N83.33 million per month.
Senate Deputy President Ike Ekweremadu gets N150 million per quarter or N50 million a month. Mark and Ekweremadu earns in 4 months, six times what the UK Prime Minister earns in a year. David Cameron goes home with £190,000 per anum (N43, 700,000) In a newspaper news article entitled ‘An Assembly for looting’ written by Musikilu Mojeed with Elor Nkereuwem, the authors rightly claimed that each of the 360 members of the House of Representatives were getting N35
million in cash money in quarterly
allocation while each of the 109
Senators pockets N48 million each.
These allocations have however been
slashed by 20% to N27 million ($
180,000) and N38 million ($253,333)
respectively due to the 20% reduction
requested by the late president.

PoliticsRe: A GEJ Supporter Lists Gej's Achievements, Let's Talk About Them by oiseworld: 10:13am On Jul 30, 2012
gilgee: I am not trying to rubbish the achievements of His Excellency, but comparing his achievements with his promises and the 2012 budget.

I implore everyone (ProGEJ, ProPDP and anti-PDP/ Anti-GEJ) to desist from hurling insults at anyone including me. Though, I do not pay attention to insults, as they help to keep one's focus in check.

As citizens of this great country or any other, it is our responsibility to continuously evaluate the performances of those we voted into power to represent our general interest. It doesn't connote hatred as some would make it seem. Rather, it is an obligation on our part to always direct their footsteps, as they obviously have a lot to tackle. Thus, they sometimes deviate from norms defined by themselves either intentionally or unintentionally.

Finance:

a) I must commend the finance ministry and minister for the biometric evaluation exercise. It's long overdue and doesn't really appears as a great achievement, but of course, we must appreciate Mrs. NOI.

This exercise deserve a whole applause only if:

There's no case of fraud during the acquisition of required apparatus and inflation of costs during implementation and control of this exercise.

Therefore, stating this as a major achievement is a little too early, because we are yet to have a platform for statistical comparison of the pre-biometric-evaluation-pension-expenditures and the post-biometric-evaluation-pension-expenditures. So, on the long run, the basis of appreciation should be "Reduction of cost and subsequent pension fraud checkmated as a result of the biometric evaluation". There's got to be an evidence of performance from statical/numerical perspective.

b) $37 Billion Foreign Reserve- Great thing that our FR has increased; quite plausible.

Energy:

Audit- Auditing per say is not a complete act of transparency. It becomes so only if the audit records are made public in it's most comprehensive rawest form. However, kudos to the president for taking that initiative. Shows to some extent that he's interested in turning things around.

The Ministry Of Power had an allocation of 70,300,000,000 as capital for projects. Are there any factual records to show how much has been spent and how much is left? As at June (last month), Nigeria was generating ~ 4,000 MGW of power, with an actual capacity ~ 5,000 MGW. How much has been spent so far? Was the expenditure carried out without any form of embezzlement? Did His Excellency have his team audit or crosscheck the expenditure report?

Oil n Gas: The $4.5BN deal with Vulcan's quite an achievement. I give His Excellency 25% appreciation, and the remainder % would come if and when the subsidy criminals are thrown into jail; and when the refineries become operational.

Roads: The Ministry of Works got an allocation of N149,200,000,001. Comparing the available fund and the ongoing projects, you would find a great disparity. Current achievement's highly below par.

Transport: I do not have any empirical information to rebut or support the information provided by you. So, I pass for now.

Aviation: Comparison would be made on the basis of the infrastructure installed once the ongoing projects are completed. Allocated capital - 42,900,707,612. The airport buildings shouldn't look like a farm house….

Education: Building 9 new federal universities aint enough. Expanding the existing ones and standardizing the infrastructures for an improved education should be at the top of M.E's priorities. Building is not much of an achievement, though it counts as one. The major achievement is a continuously upgraded maintenance culture. Make world class educational facilities available, not just piling up bricks. I believe 55,056,589,805 is quite enough to achieve this.

On a scale of 10, I think GEJ deserves 4.5 for Project Proposals & Implementation and 2 for accountability and transparency.
just imagine, grade 4.5 in just a year, so what would have happened if the northern leaders had not unleash boko haram to distract and frustrate governance.

Thank you bro for your unbiased report.
