look at mumu posters on nairaland.  SO we should continue to do the same thing and expect a different result?   do you think the govt has not made effort to fix the refineries, but we ( me & u, ur brothers, friends all nigerian generally.) just keep sabotaging it.

the road to ghana is opened to all those who can't cope, please leave for those who would survive the subsidy, we would gladly welcome you back when tins are better.

even if JESUS dies the second time, those who would believe would believe, and does who wouldn't still wouldn't. same tin goes for Jona, if he cuts himself with a knife you still would't believe him.

I will continue to say it, Nigeria is a country where christains hating muslims, muslims hating christians, a tribe feeling his tribe is superior than others. we will never move forward as a nation if we continue this way. i think if the banking model does not have "islamic" in it im sure no one will complain about it. just because it is called islamic bank, the ignorant people have been making baseless noise against it. if those banks are established, it is not binding on anyone whether muslim, christain or pagan to bank with them. it is a matter of choice. it doesnt change anything. same thing goes with the sharia law when it was introduced, even some muslims dont go to sharia courts to settle their disputes. anybody that doesnt know about islamic banking system should google it or go to wikipedia to learn more about it. no knowledge is wasted.

how do you practice Islam without following the laws that govern it. i don't understand? how does Alla knows you are worshiping him when you don't do what is in his laws like other Islamic countries do.

na wao Naija anything can happen, thats why you find it difficult to obey the constitution of Nigeria.
BusinessRe: Islamic Banking: CBN Declines Al Qaeda's Request For Licence by oiseworld: 10:22am On Jul 06, 2011
but what actually is this sanusi after. does he think he is smarter than all Nigerians or more intelligent.

he is so desperate and determined. i like him for that, but he should not forget that those who refuse to pay back their loans would be amputated according to sharia law. you know those thing like, beheading, stone to death, should all be brought to play. stop juicing us with no interest banking, bring along the repercussions of not paying back.

you know the yoruba proverbs that says " you are free to play with the devils breast but remember you would have to leave your hands behind".

Christianity EtcRe: Daddy Adeboye Is Innocent by oiseworld: 11:13am On Jun 06, 2011
i bind every spirit of complaining, criticism, among Nigerians in Jesus name.

politicians u complain
country u complain
leaders not doing enough

even men of God that don't have access to public funds, just contributing their quota thru the word of God.  we still are complaining.

its obvious most Nigerians have one or two things they don't appreciate about tthemselves

pls have a positive attitude.
TV/MoviesRe: Favorite Movie Scenes - As Many As You Can Think Of by oiseworld: 10:36am On Jun 06, 2011
(ARMISTARD) either a JAMES CAMERON FILM OR STVEN SPIELBERG.

the scene where the slaves whre freed by the US army, i almost cried.

the court scene where the lawyer ( anthony hopkins) called on the past leaders of america to help them make a right decision, even if it leads to a WAR,

the scene when the lawyer and the prisoner communicated just before the final court hearing.
the whole of that film

(AIR FORCE ONE)

the scene where the vice president asked, DO YOU HAVE THE PRESIDENT.
PoliticsRe: Tinubu And Fashola In Land Scam Worth Billions by oiseworld: 2:17am On Jun 05, 2011
when you look at the power tinubu commands in Lagos and acn, and his level of confidence. add with my little God given intellect, i will say to a very large extent that i go with the poster. Q.E.D.

i also strongly believe that tinubu has a hand in the ongoing construction of a shopping mall close to the secretariat.
PoliticsRe: Read El-Rufai's Brilliant Take Down Of Gej's Administration by oiseworld: 1:51am On Jun 05, 2011
thanks to elrufai for drawing our attention to the rate of spending of the gej administration, but we just have to trust someone. i have always supported lucky, and i believe he will perform. this is the attitude i carry in my day to day business activities.

i think we should encourage him and believe he can. and i don't think gej spent all that money himself, it must have gone through one gov. minister,Government official, who most likely be your next door neighbour, friend, brother. ( at least a Nigerian). so the issue should not be blamed on one man (gej) na GOD! we should carry some blame too. that's what we did during obj administration.

let us be positive for once. Haba!,

BusinessRe: Why Are We Not Making Money Like Dangote? by oiseworld: 8:44am On Jun 01, 2011
Nigeria has not produced true billionaires yet! or let say the real rich men are not yet in their billions. the much talked about dagote, was born in wealth, and connections.

do you know wat it was to be related to Dantata then? you have both money and power.

he was hard working no doubt, but he also took advantage of his religion (muslims where in power then.), ethnicity, tribalsm, connection. , just name it. all those things we are tring to get rid of now.

again N80,000.00 back then was a lot of money for start up.

Will you stop running your stupi.d mouth!
Stop exhibiting your arrant stupidity to the world with your baseless posts.
Have you read the constitution? PDP member?
You have no idea what you are talking about and you talk as though you are an expert in Nigeria politics

Very annoying girl!
Gosh, Do you have parents at all.

NO Zoning ! NO ZONING, like your father wrote the constitution!
Idio.t

gosh!!!!
man i tire too, but be a bit soft next time
PoliticsRe: Is Zoning Holding Nigeria Back? by oiseworld: 12:44am On Nov 27, 2010
what happens if after zoning.   another candidate from another party, from another region wins the election.  won't the zoned region cry fowl, that they had been cheated.

not to allow these, the election would have to be rigged by the PDP. let us use our foresight.

lets say PDP present a Northerner and ACN wins the election with an igbo man.  wont"t the north feel cheated.
PoliticsRe: Is Zoning Holding Nigeria Back? by oiseworld: 12:04am On Nov 27, 2010
Blazay:
No, it is not.
Given the multi-ethnic sentiments dividing the whole country, it is the best we can do now.
So that each geo-political zone can work within itself to field it's best candidate.

I like the idea because it would bring about a healthy competion within the ethnic groups in Nigeria.
It would be nice to see what ethnic group can put Nigeria in the right direction/

I do not count the military when I think of governance.

OBJ has had 10 years and counting. A major failure from the Western part of Nigeria.
Atiku is from the Middle Belt and will show more promise being independent from the only government we have ever known in Nigerian history, which is the OBJ-IBB pseudo ciivilian government.

We need a break from 'khaki in agbada' rule.

Right now, zoning is the only mechanism by which the various ethnic groups in Nigeria will avoid the comback of military rule in Nigeria. At least, something to hope for as in 'it is our turn'.

Not a bad idea if implemented with the right tools in place.
the moment u say zoning, u have stepped on the foot of a free and fair election.

remember that this zoning of a thing is not in the Nigerian constitution.
obviously the election has to be rigged to favour the zoned region. that is the point u all do not understand.
PoliticsRe: "Do Not Vote For A Muslim President" - Pastor Paul Adefarasin by oiseworld: 11:03pm On Nov 18, 2010
well, i know very well that muslims have these believe that they are meant to be rulers, and they have pursued it passionately.

but we the Christians knowing fully well that we are not just meant to rule but  that leadership is our birthright  have always turned the other way, and always pray about everything. we so much believe in prayer that we forget the action that goes with it.
i think that is the part the pastor was calling our attention to.  i agree with him over 200%.

i want us to first understand that GEJ is not a politician, or not the sweet mouthed politician. he says things as he observes not as a politician.

and i think the president was right to have come out to clarify this issue. who every still doesn't understand is his wahala.
PoliticsRe: Gej's Latest Facebook Update by oiseworld: 9:58pm On Oct 12, 2010
These Nigerians can never be satisfied. Goodluck has not even spent up to 8months in power, power of which he came by the grace of GOD. and you are all here complaining.

can't we for once thank GOD we have a president who has a conscience. he might not be perfect like we all are not. but he keeps reminding us that he understands our needs and need our support to solve this problems.

i think the problem with most of us is that we have lost every sense of hope for our father land. we see only what has not been done and not the opportunities that surround us. i believe in this country and the leadership of GEJ. may God help him.
