On my first day we had GST101 at about 8AM. I woke up around 4AM, prepared and got to school 6AM.

I initially thought I would be the first to get there but I was surprised by the numbers of students that were already seated. After taking my seat a certain man from the street whom everyone of us taught was a lecturer, came to sell his books titled "English and Englishes."

After successfully convincing us that one could be sent out of the university for not passing English, everybody in the hall bought the book with fear.
I bought the book with the last card I had on my wallet thinking it was my textbook for the semester. Little did I know that the man is well known for scamming freshers. He smiled cheerfully, counted and made away with thousands of naira under the watchful eyes of everyone in the hall.

The useless book was less than 15 pages containing trash upon trash. I had to throw it in the nearest trash can.

Ogaami, it's really hard not to. You feel choked. You can't breathe. It's like hitting a deadend.
Life will just seem meaningless.
Death at this point in time will just look like a safe heaven. You'll constantly be asking God for forgiveness and understanding should you finally succumb, while reminding him that you had no other option.
You also keep praying for his assistance which at that point in time might not be forthcoming.

Nigeria always break or create records when its got to do with anything superficial like logo and sweet looking jerseys, BBnaija etc., but when it comes to vital issues like citizens satisfaction, social welfare, life expectancy, employment rate, healthcare satisfaction, basic amenities, educational standard, infrastructures, food sufficiency, financial transparency, security of lives and properties etc, we are in a deep shithole. When I got married, d first Two yrs of d marriage was really a tough one with a kid and I almost called it quit, I experienced almost d same issue with urs, only that we were still staying in our home. Den I felt he didn't appreciate all my efforts and dats y I said what kind of human being is dis one? But I thank my Lord I didn't make a mistake of leaving.
He's going through a lot right now, just dat u don't know, my hubby is d type that becomes unnecessary aggressive when he's bothered about something, and I will be calm no matter what he do or say, bcuz when all it's over he always acknowledge and apologize for every thing.

Seems your dad is a perpetual ass whooper and since you're not yet making him feel proud to be a father, by travelling down home in a sleek car, perhaps on some weekends and dropping fat envelope in his hands, the only other way he feels like a father is by whooping your ass.

Like people say, age is just a number, your parents start to regard you as an adult, the moment you're able to survive on your own and they can live off on you.
If you're 50 years old still living under your parents and also living off them, then you're still a kid to them anytime any day, and your sorry ass can be whooped real bad, if situation warrants it. You don't amount to shiit to them, and they can fvck you up big time, if you trespass.
Since, you're yet to clock the criteria of an adult, the only choice left is to continue enjoying the ass whooping, while you work hard in order to gather enough escape velocity to break away from all the gravity of joblessness, grounding your ass in your parents' house.
