Politics / Re: Rufai Oseni's 8 Questions About The Coastal Road Project. by okewumi: 8:35pm
When world bank came, Buhari directed them to North.
During Buhari, they constructed train track to Niger Republic. Rufai did not ask one million questions.

It get to south, they were making noise. He should keep the question to himself.

They take oil from south and south must have rail. If they start to analyze or bypass coastal area, the next you will hear is that they have stop the project.

I beg Umai should continue to do whatever will benefit south.

TO GOD BE THE GLORY. May God allows Makinde to complete this project

This is what Oyo state need to get industrialize.
Chaiiiiii. This is good new. This is game changer. Industries need gas pipeline like Agbara in Ogun state. Oyo state is closer to Lagos but it is residential because their is no gas pipeline. With gas pipeline, industries will springup
This guy won 30 LG out of 33LG to defeat APC four years ago.

He started circular road last month which will allow trucks and industries to navigate to their site.
Now, gas pipeline.

Pls Makinde, ensure u finish this two projects even if you don't do any other projects.

The unborn generation will not forget u.

If all distribution Companies get better, IBEDC can not.

The mapping was faulty from beginning! Below are list of states IBEDC covers

* OYO STATE
* OGUN STATE
*KWARA STATE
*OSUN STATE

Do you know how many town are in each state. Oyo state alone supposed to have its distribution company. In oyo state, they have ibadan, ogbomomosho, oyo town, seven town in ibarapa, oke ogun, fiditi,.
They are joking.
.Federal government needs to review their contract

When they signed mou for rail at the North (Abuja to Kano, Kano to Niger). No analysis or criticism from northerners.
I think the problemm of the country is South. I can ready negative coment despite government effort to bring the project to South. I don't know while we southerners cannot be positive for once. If it is nothern projects, the nothern forum will appraise government and encourage how to fastrack but Southern nigerian loves to conderm

Romance / Re: Broken Up With My Nigerian Boyfriend by okewumi: 7:45am On Jan 16
Men are like pendulum, circumstances of life has pushed him to the other side.Things has changed and definitions have change.
What is polygamous?
The real polygamous context is when u are staying in thesame house with another wife.
What is first wife?
First wife is someone that stay with husband 24/7

Circumstances of life has changed alot of things in nigeria. Most Nigerians have traveled out and it is difficult to bring family along. They remarried but they are taking care of what they left behind by sending money.

If he is a good guy, stay with him. He can be with u in south Africa till old age. He know that it can take 15yrs b4 he gets paper and by the time he travels back, the wife is already on menopause. We have alot of them here and the wife in nigeria knows the reality. If u leave him, another person will accept him

Since she didn't reply means she can't speak English. To people like you English is the yard. Stick of measuring intelligence and you think you are educated. To you an illiterate Englishman is Better than a Russian or French engineer simply cos he can't Speak English not what they can offer.
People like are the reason why Nigeria can never progress cos u will forever remain enslaved to western or European world.
All the countries that are developed none of them is using borrowed language.

Keep quiet.

Official language in nigeria is English. If you travel out to study, l believe she used a certificate to gain admissionto a uniin Sudan. How can she not answer " how are you in English "
Any little thing, u exaggerate. Would u be happy if they ask ur daughter, a citizen in nigeria despite schooling in Sudan not to be able to respond to " how are u?
Before you speak next think deeply and widely. I forgot they are educated illiterate so
Continue that you will be learning gradually

Since this news broke out,I couldn’t help but weep for my dear country Nigeria,I’m currently working as a reliability engineer in Bonny oil and gas Terminal which is the major crude oil delivery point to PH Refinery. There are two streams of pumping stations here one for ship loading and the other crude oil transfer to refinery.for 6yrs now working here all we do is to maintain the 2 streams of pumping stations.Currently in service is the crude oil ship loading pumps cos we load oil tankers occasionally due to TNP line sabotage, the refinery pumps are currently not in service and I’m wondering where they got crude oil to start up the refinery maybe through other means and I hope it’s a sustainable process.

Family / Re: was I Wrong In Wanting To End Friendship With My Friend? by okewumi: 8:31pm On Nov 23, 2023
Ginaz:
I moved into a new neighbourhood and i stay alone. Luckily I came across my childhood friend one fateful day on my way to fill up my cooking gas.

we exchanged contact, I found out we live closed to each other. she now has 6kids with her husband, the eldest child being 13yrs old.

As formal friends and now neighbours I tried to assist her with whatever little I could as they're not doing so great in financially.

I noticed whenever I enter her house, she's somewhat uneasy as she would apologized for the messy state of her house, the dirty floor , the roughness of the building which i don't even care to notice as I am not judging her.

I reduced my entrance into her house due to the fact I didnt want her to feel bad about whatever she might be thinking of her house. it was making feel uncomfortable to hear such complains too.

I usually send her kids on errands, which I give them monetary compensations. I called her on phone one day to send her second daughter to me that I wanna send her on an errand, she replied yes she would but I didn't see the daughter.

I was cooking rice, the kids came. I dished for them and I asked the daughter why she refused to come see me the day I sent for her. she told me it was her mother who told her not to come.

I was shocked ! if her mother didn't want me to send her on a errand she could have told me. I felt like I was disturbing her kids so I blocked her number and stop sending the kids message to run for me.

now she has been calling me but I've refused
to answer her calls. am I wrong in wanting to end the friendship?

I love communication alot. It is childish to ghost her. Have a discussion with her on why she corrupt the mind of her children towards u

We have a lot of babies on nairaland.

Let the people in this industry expanciate and tell us the details. The advantage and disadvantage. We need to keep learning and government agency are not robot. They can learn from experience too and comments. It is always sad that only the frustrated will keep writing show anger in everything and that is the reason government doesn't take youth serious.

Family / Re: Broken Marriage, Please Advise me by okewumi: 12:57am On Nov 16, 2023
NdubisiCharles:
Good day pals, I have a sister whose husband abandoned for the past 8 yrs now,
with kids, male and female, the boy is now 9yrs, while the girl is now 8 yrs, my sis was abandoned after giving birth to the little girl.
She single handedly took the children far away and keep raising them up till date, now this is happening.

Yesterday, I received a call from my young sis, saying that her forgotten husband just called and was pleading for her return, that what will she do, that she needs my advice as senior, for me not to fall into conclusion I gave her 48 hours to reply to her, .....

Today I called the man (husband) he sounds so calm, "he said he need them back, he told me that he never chase my sis away, that it was my sis that carry her bag and left his house. Ran away with the 2kids, that he paid my sis bride price, he has visited my family for reconciliation but sis said she ain't going back that hunger is in the house, he admitted that then he was broke, "that he is not a drunker, womanizer, fetish, or never lay hand on my sis, and that he is God fearing man" only that he has no money when asked my sis she confirmed it.

Please friends advice me on what to do

In tbis economy, if you see a man that want to help it is better to agree o. But if she sees children as retirement plan, they will still look for their father. Let her allow him and live a peaceful life
