Generally, why treat old people like they are already in their graves? We kinda like to see them as corpses that don't have any sexual urge, or need to relate. I think people are silly anyway. Any small thing makes them discriminate. A man grows old, means he shouldn't socialize, means he can't have sex or wear some kinda clothes, means he shouldn't be loud, prosperous and proud.

When you take away the right to live happily from that old woman or man, then you get surprised when they start abusing minors. It's not an excuse, but look at the inhumane way you categorize them. Talk to him with the same fear and respect. And let him make his independent decision. He is a man still. Not your old dying dog who you can reduce rations of food for and control through such.

Nevertheless, what he is doing is wrong.

My formal landlord was 83 years and the man still they fire. The children organise a young widow of 47 to they cruise together codedly for him. I don't know where it is stated that everybody progesterone should not work at that age.

You just need to negotiate well before working with them. You can work with an average company over years to add value to yourself and be a professional. Immediately you are for an interview to work with them, negotiate properly and package yourself well. If they want you, they are ready to employ u. He will write check of #300k for you so that you can buy and assist you while you are building it.
He send workers for training irrespective of your tribe. Let me stop there.

I have worked with two and l learnt a lot of lesson. The man stays two weeks in Nigeria (best hotel in Lagos) and two weeks in USA.
1. They value their time. They believe time is money. The man prefers you take uber to a treckable distance to save time.
2. They value their tools, car anything than you. They will tell you how they bought a spoon/spanner in Canada and if you don't handle it well, they can sack you. They believe there are thousands of you outside than the stress the will undergo to get things you misplace.
3. They are very stingy. They don't see you that you can have any help to render for them financially. Nollywood is nonsense to them. They can send you an errand and expect change of #50
4. If you are very good and diligent, they will use you and want you to be slave to them. If possible your children and you be also slave to their unborn children in the future.
5. Despite doing your job diligently and being loyal doesn't mean anything to them. You are only doing your job even with your overtime. They fire you at any slightly mistake without remembering your sacrifice. Im
6. They don't need your idea. In there mind, you should keep your idea to yourself. Their idea is the best. To them, you should go and use your idea to be rich.
7. They forget to pay salary sometimes because of their schedule. They can decide to own you for months. They believe they must exploit the poor to be more richer. A poor employee is a tool in the hand of the rich.
8. Working for them doesn't make your life better or rich. You can work for an average person and achieve a lot than the so called rich. They prefer you eat best food with them than to be given cash. Eat with them and have energy to do work in the next day is their believe. They believe if youare given cash and you are comfortable, you nay be rich.
9. Most doesn't believe in religion especially the Christian one. They mock pastors and laugh, when they are in their mist. They can send imam or pastors to mecca/ Jerusalem so that you can keep praying for them.

As a landlord always try to get everything or almost everything fixed before a prospective tenant move in. Also never forget to sign tenancy agreement with your tenants, very important. Do not be overly friendly with tenants, but have a humane heart and a listening ear. If you can do all these it will take an utterly irrational, wicked and jealous tenant to still cause problems for you.
I was once too good to a tenant that he started thinking that he can dictate to me and even insult me. But I showed him my werey side and eventually kicked him out. He went about spoiling my name and that of the compound. But God who sees everything later vindicated me.

Employers are HUMAN. We have good human being and bad one. You are changing from one company/school to another which is in the same industry. They are pain sometimes for leaving. I have work in one man business, if you resign, the man will keep monitoring your LinkedIn account or ask from other staffs your new place of work and if he knows your new employer, you are gone.

We organise a training for our partners in the same industry and different companies sent their staffs rep. These guys came with their cars for two days training. My former MD called some of MD that sent staffs that they should be vigilant because for those guys to be riding cars, it means they are stealing company money (so ridiculous)

You have to be careful in life. Don't think all employers have good hearth. Some are devil.

The state is not an industrialize state comparing to Lagos and Ogun state. It is purely civil servant state apart from Nigerian Brewery and some others few manufacturing state.
The guy ensure he pays workers salary before end of the month so that their will be cash flow from civil servant to traders in market and artisan in the state. With that, the system can be managed. I know by the time they finish Lagos-Ibadan express way, more industries will surely diffuse to Oyo state.
