I know of a church in Port Harcourt where they collect sand, water, oil, sugar etc. the sugar is to enable you convince any one you talk to. The sand can kill your enemies when you pour it eg a in a land case, many others. Like I said , we are gradually deviating from the ways of Christ.

My question is this. How has Obama,'s presidency affected Africa? Any positive impact? I am not aware of any. He would have ceded the world Bank presidency to Africa as a show of goodwil. As long as am concerned, he is a white man in a black skin. So why don't a proper white rule? That's my stand

I just read about the PPS too and got scared. Mum is old, about 72 yrs and just recuperating in the US. Her senior brother and his wife are taking care of her right now. The bosom pump is being used currently. We are also praying seriously for her. As at this evening she was just induced to sleep for the first time in 3days. Previous medications did not work.

Please join me in praying for her. Another of her brothers is also on the way to see h right now.

Thanks a lot, we have actually taken the babies away from her because she cannot even nurse them again. Her engorged breasts has caused more fever and her blood pressure is high. I am running crazy with worry.
FamilyRising Case Of Violence Against New Mothers, It's Abominable by okpurukata(op): 6:53pm On Nov 02, 2012
There seems to be a rising case of domestic violence against women, this time I mean women that have recently put to bed. It is a known fact that the birth of a new baby also comes with a lot of stress for the family. The pressure is often more on the new mum, who is undergoing pains, readjustment and is most likely having little sleep. This leads to post partum depression in most instances. The husband also feels left out and does not get the level of attention she needs. Every one around the house gets irritable and some immature, or wicked men have taken advantage of this situation to beat up their wives at the slightest provocation.

I have a case right now of my relation, a young girl who just delivered twins. She has a first chid of 2 years and her husband is a banker. Her mum is away in America, and the mother in law came for the omugwo. The mum in law refused to cook for her and insists on being served food. She claims she has come to take care of the babies only, but does not get up night to assist. Her constant complaints about not being fed on time led the husband to beat up the wife twice.

The poor girl is currently admitted for acute post partum depression and is simply raving and screaming for two days now without sleep. Her situation is posing a very serious concern for the entire family. Nairalanders, someone please help me with advise on how to help this young girl. I am really distraught.

Kassidy90: JANNAT (PARADISE)

1. Jannat is a very large and very beautiful place.

2. It has been made by Allah Ta'ala for Muslims.

3. It's walls have been made of bricks of gold and silver and its cement is made of musk.

4. The ground is made of saffron and ambergris (a wax-like substance).

5. Instead of gravel, there will be diamonds and pearls.

6. There are huge mansions made of pearls, diamonds and beautiful jewellery to house the residents of Jannat.

7. There are 100 ranks in Jannat. Each rank is as large in breadth as the sky to the ground. It's doors are so wide that a fast horse would have to run seventy years to get from one side to another.

8. There will be so many gifts in Jannat that you would not dream or think about.

9. There will be various types of fruits, milk, honey, wine (sweet smelling, non-alcoholic) and other delicious types of food for the Jannatis.

10. Jannatis will be given clothes so beautiful that nobody in this world will have ever had fate to wear.

11. For assistance, thousands of "Ghilmaan" or clean, pure servants will be available and for company, beautiful "Hoors" (princesses) whose beauty will be so intense that if one Hoor actually looked towards this world, the people would become unconscious just by looking at her beauty and shining.

12. No one will feel sleepy or fall sick in Jannat.

13. No one will be scared or taste death in Jannat.

14. There would not be any sort of trouble, difficulty, hardships or suffering but all kinds of comfort in Jannat.

15. Every wish, request and desire will be fulfilled in Jannat and the greatest Ne'mat (blessing) in Jannat is to make Didaar (see) of Allah Ta'ala
[color=#770077][/color Number 11 point; Pray, tell me who these servants are. So while you are enjoying all these in heaven, these unfortunate ones are serving you eeh. Can't stop laughing. There will also be beautiful babes- too beautiful to make men faint. Waoooo. A whole 72 of them, how will you have time forGod? Then no handsome partner for the women eeh? So they will still be marginalized in Jannat as on this world.
So so funny.]

Christianity EtcRe: How Do You Cope During A Boring Church Service? by okpurukata(f): 11:50am On Oct 14, 2012
Every part of service cannot be boring. In the catholic church, we have an order of mass. If the priest bores you with his sermon, there is no way you will not find any other part at least interesting. I really feel for those who complain of boredom. Please try and put your mind to it. Not attending chuch at all is equally bad.

PoliticsRe: Gowon Did Not Cede Bakassi - Akinjide by okpurukata(f): 2:13pm On Sep 27, 2012
Demdem: FORMER Attorney-General of the Federation (AGF) and Minister of Justice, Chief Richard Akinjide, on Wednesday, declared that former head of state, General Yakubu Gowon, did not cede the Bakassi Peninsula to Cameroon.

The former minister, who was the guest speaker at the 2 Division, Nigerian army training week with the theme: “Developing requisite capabilities by the Nigerian Army for combating contemporary security challenges,” said it was a former head of state who signed an instrument that seceded the part of the country to Cameroon.

Akinjide, who did not give the name of the former head of state, said the matter was more complicated than what the people perceived.

According to him, “Nigeria did not secede the Bakassi Peninsula to Cameroon.

“There are a lot of rumour that General Gowon cede Bakassi to Cameroon. That is not true. He did not cede the place to Cameroon at all.

LIES LIES LIES !!!!! Go won ceded Bakassi to Cameron to spite Ojukwu. Today it's backfired. Once again I shout. Lieeeesssooooo
“The truth is that it was a former head of state who signed an instrument that the place belongs to Cameroon, and that was presented at the International Court of Justice (ICJ),” Akinjide declared.

He explained that for eight years when the case was on, every issue was considered, including the human element, saying that many memoranda were presented before the court.

PoliticsRe: Fashola, Clerics To Tackle Noise Pollution In Lagos by okpurukata(f): 8:18pm On Sep 24, 2012
Pukkah: That is their usual line - 'evil Christians', 'devilish people', etc when in fact the Bible is not in support of what they are doing. But how was the matter resolved at the police station?
The police tried to settle the issue by telling the woman to know that I have a right of peace in my own house. The DPO finally called me and told me that their handicapis that there is still no legislation against noise pollution, so they are handicapped. He advised me to go and buy a bigger sound system and play my own music while the church service is on. Being a Christian, of of course I could not do that. I only went back and told the woman that God will judge her. I have comitted the Matter into Gods hands. The woman has gone about boasting that no one can touch her. I have the option of reporting her to Rivers state environmental sanitation, but have chosen not to. The fact is that I feel sympathy for her because she suffered for several years in abject poverty. If they close the church, how will she feed her family?
PoliticsRe: Fashola, Clerics To Tackle Noise Pollution In Lagos by okpurukata(f): 6:29pm On Sep 24, 2012
A church opened just beside my house, using part of my fence as their alter. Our environment is an otherwise serene residential area. They then bought a musical instrument meant for a cathedral even though the church is not bigger than two rooms. The noise is unimaginable. My bedroom an children's room is just by the wall less than 20 feet away. I personally went and appealed to the pastress - a woman. She promised to round up her programmes by 8 pm daily. They never adhered to this.

Another day on a Thursday, I came back from work by 9pm and made to sleep when they started an all night programme. I was so angry and went to ask them to put their neighbors into considerations and the boy playing musical instruments came to fight me. He tore my maiguard's clothes when he intervened.
That night my neighbor the pastress asked her chuch to pray against me, that we are evil Christians.

I simply prayed to God that his words says that curse cause less shall not stand, and that I have a right to have peace in my home.

The matter finally landed us in the police.

What I am saying is just that people should consider fellow humans when sighting any business venture at all. Church or whatever. Every one is a child of God and He says Love your neighbor as yourselves.

If only we can practice this.
