PapaNnamdi:Very unintelligent expression here. An you have the temerity to lay claim to a tertiary education. You have been fed the nonsense that people who excel academically are crammers. I really don't blame you, its a figment of your very crippled world view. It's people like you that that think that all women who excel are sleeping their way through. You need to grow up and eschew excuses for your failures and deficiencies. That's the only sure way to excellence in any area. |
Stone03:This conclusion is far too generic. It may not hold true in all cases. Think about it ....carefully. |
yehmy:I have considered that. I do not hold brief for Unique wise, my point is that she has always fully disclosed that the items were not hers. She fronts for the owners and of course with a commercial understanding. Yes, the buyer pays to the seller who then pays her what is her due commission. I don't see anything wrong with such a clear and very transparent transaction. I am sure she herself will not deny collecting commissions. She does and it is her due. Most of the sellers she represents I surmise do not even know that this thread exists. She brings the items and presents them to the buying public. If the buyer and seller are both happy with the price and goes along and pays then it is a harmonious transaction. If Uniquewise makes some profit therefrom the ring of happiness expands further. By the way, I am fighting nobody. Too old and tired to fight jobless fellows apparently devoid of good upbringing. I responded to you because of the decorum as expressed in your post. And by the way...I have never met Uniquewise. I don't know her but I am impressed with her consistent showing on the clearance thread. |
aboyaji:Thanks Bro! Perhaps you are right about being your brother/Sister in the Lord but the but about my lack of sense I will allow you and others to be the judge. Be however assured that in this life time and subsequently I can never be as slow as you are which is inadvertently reflected in your very unintelligent scribbling here. You may wish to always look intently at a full sized mirror before you open your mouth to spew rubbish especially when you are unsure of the personality you are dealing with moreso in an anonymous platform such as this. The lady in question has clearly stated that she is an intermediary for many people desirous of clearing their property and they give her prices to dispose these goods. You may wish to know that I have dealt with her previously and though the transaction was not consumated because of a difference in price. The product was however pristine and worth the price. On the whole the entire exchange was healthy and satisfactory. That is probably something your inexperience and inexposure may deny you of. |
obisite:Is there anything wrong with that? She has disclosed that she is a middlewoman and that's why she always parades different goods. Perhaps her prices are a bit high but observe closely and you will discover that she presents superior quality products in pristine condition. Moreso, at some point of the negotiation she directs you to the seller directly. As a matter of fact in the majority of cases you buy directly from the seller. How more transparent can she be. The lady is as clean as a whistle. You guys let her be. |
jjmk:Aren't second hand products reputed to be 'better' than the brand new counterparts? Are you not in Nigeria where fairly used holds sway? |
AFONAMARO:Sir, I wasn't trying to convince you. I was equally mesmerized myself. But I got talking with someone very very high up (and he should know) He explained the circumstances leading to this 'anomaly' and it made some sense. We live in surprising times. Indeed, almost everything is possible. It's a phenomenal world for those of us steeped in 'how things have always been'. Perhaps you will remember this thread in the future when you ascertain the validity of the claim above. Good day to you. |
Indeed sex for marks is a reality we have to live with. If you however observe the academic prowess of the complainants, it will be clear to you why they experience such. Any academically sound student irrespective of gender is like Polaris within the academic milieu and no lecturer will risk his reputation with him or her. Should he have an amorous interest then he will woo her properly and within acceptable societal bounds. Take a look at the best female graduands from our universities even in these perilous times and a close look will show you that simply not dare. Also, please be guided, many females cry wolf even when there is none within the horizon. |
AFONAMARO:Yes you can. Of course it's a rare feat. I know a few of them in like 3 different banks. But again, it's like the proverbial camel and needle anecdote. |
osuofia2:Well! You are correct......and then again not correct. Correct because indeed most high profile citizens seek medical attention outside these shores. Obasanjo, his widow,Yar'adua, Tinubu, perhaps gentleman Osinbajo and a host of others were all morally justified in doing help and nobody will complain. Bihari on the other hand painted a picture for us when seeking our votes. We took him for his word. A man of valour and pristine integrity would rather die here than go against his word. The Nigerian voter would have been easier on this man if he was even taking minor treatments in Nigeria like the likes of MKO Abiola and others. For goodness sakes who flies 7 hours to treat an ear ache? |
Nikeballer:The picture you attached to your post....is it real? Can it be verified? |
TarOrfeeek:There is a practical solution to this; always be punctual. |
BlackArab:Would like to pick up a few things from you. Kindly indicate location within please. |
Kobojunkie:You actually meant this. There is fire on the mountain. So God creator of all men express his preference for some above others. Really! Read your post again...this time slowly. How does it even sound to you? GOD permitted slavery in one form or another. |
phemmyfour:How convenient! You are not followers of Abraham 'our father in faith'? |
Kobojunkie:Grow would have been funny if it wasn't so sad. So GOD the embodiment of perfection (which means incapable of changing) changed his laws on the New testament? Wow! His laws in the old testament differ from the laws in the new testament. This is new to me. |
Plomo:My own kind of man. Substance and substance only. I am really impressed. |
KallmemrB0:Very sad, very sad indeed. And all you need to do was ignore or move to the comedy section. But then again it's quite understandable certain threads require a measure of maturity to flow with. Kudos OP! your language and mode of expression is bae. |
ogbiwa:I don't think that the poster you quoted meant that DSTV should operate completely unbridled in Nigeria. Regulating an industry does not necessarily mean that you fix prices or impose a model. That negates the free market principle. DSTV and indeed all other PayTv operators are regulated in ways you cannot even understand. I am of the opinion that PayTv should be pay as you watch hi but it shouldn't be enforced by the state. Competition is the best approach to this. Recall the per second billing model introduced by Glo.....even after MTN and co had sworn that it was unattainable. |
Hey guys, I am still experience this screen response challenge. The screen refuses to respond but immediately you switch off and on it begins to operate like a brand new phone. Do I need to change the screen altogether or I can count on the next update correcting this anomaly? |
clothingonline:Interested in the second shirt. Is it exactly the way it is advertised? Shop location pls. |
miltonchux:Hello Sexcapades01. I wish us to discuss the the "toys" business.....and perhaps a few other businesses you could guide me into. Expecting your response. |
seunny4lif:Never even heard of this? Is it true or you are catching cruise? |
Stevengold:Have you tried it out with some common apps like WhatsApp? I could consider it as a second phone if it does. It's cheaper than getting a really good and original Nokia small phone. |
Engineersodiq1:Brand new moniker! Where is your location in Lagos? |
aminukehinde58:Yes you can. I bought an iPhone 4s from one guy here (Psalmz). Quite a great phone but very old and quite limited in functionality. Great guy, check him out. |
I read through the entire thread.....at least up till this point. It's such a shame that otherwise very educated people will crawl out of their shells and post absolute trash devoid of any objectivity whatsoever. It's ever so sad that we cannot draw a line between sentiments and objectivity. Watch the video or read the transcription word for word and then appraise the entire event objectively looking carefully at all the attendant scenarios. This is better done while taking into consideration that the entire matter requires a very broad and guided understanding since one party is now incapable of relating his own side of the debacle. |
Blacksavage:Fast moving consumer goods = Food = Bread. One of the best business models that your capital can accommodate.....but you have to do it yourself. There is a very detailed thread on how profitable bread distribution/sales business can be. Search Nairaland business section. |
Tranquillity360:Of course not. You should be grateful for the opportunity given to both of you to experience each other. But you could celebrate her with some sense of dignity. Tossing her coffin up and down and fetting the world doesn't seem like a befitting farewell for her. Seems more like an ego trip or a validation seeking effort. Pray! How does lying in state help her or you for that matter? Now an entire commercially viable industry has been woven around the lying in state event. Have you ever given thought to what happens to the expensive caskets that are used to inter 'our' mortal remains? |
Tochj:This is so wrong on all fronts. A decent funeral does t have to be obscenely expensive. Neither are all ostentatious obsequies decent. For some reason I think the middle course predicated on moderation is the best route. A few organisations may have gotten it right in this perspective. |
Tranquillity360:This is not necessarily true. No matter how wealthy you are if there is no equilibrium between your grey matter an your wealth and your maturity you will still be very immature in your understanding. A funeral is a solemnity. It doesn't require nor deserve fanfare. It's the commemoration of a transition. One could have fan fare to celebrate a milestone birthday or some other accomplishment but a funeral must be a solemn event where what is of benefit to the departed one is of uttermost importance. |
