Weekend concord reported then that she was named Alimat. When the thing changed to Halima, they forgot to tell us.
One year later Gideon Orka,Roland Empere, Saliba Mukoro ,Ovedje Ogboru struck.
A terrified IBB abandoned his wife and young daughter and ran 440.
Colonel UK Bello died defending his boss.
It also marked the rise of Colonel Ishaya Bamaiyi. He and Abubakar Umar led battalions of loyal troops to crush the coupists.
Two years later, the panicky IBB relocated the seat of power from Dodan barracks lagos to Aso Rock Abuja.
Hmnn , how time flies.
Are you sure? In a 2014 interview, IBB said he didn't leave Dodan barracks throughout the coup.

a fool at 40 is indeed a fool forever, dear gold digging op, YOU ARE A FOOL FOREVER!!
Look at this 26 year old tranny looking granny calling me a gold digger. Hoe, all you do is look for guys to take care of you and you're calling me a gold digger? lol! I know you have problems with English comprehension. My original post had the theory that Linda would find it hard to get a billionaire that has time for sex, and that she could either settle for billionaire that doesn't have too much time for sex, or a regular guy that has all the time in the world for sex. This is being realistic. But all your pap brain could make out of the write-up was that I am a gold digger. Are you illiterate?
CelebritiesRe: Liz Anjorin Slams Those Above 30 & Single For Taking Sides In Marital Issues by olab059(m): 5:26pm On May 12, 2017
SmartMugu:
Yup.
Marriage ain't no joke, so I don't blame people taking their time to find the right person or just outrightly deciding to be single. After spending time to find the 'right' person, the 'right' person may end up having the wrong in-laws or friends and their tiny voices can take you back where you started from - learning a new version of your spouse all over again - that's if it's worth it at all to learn one person any longer when you can just move on to someone else that can make their own decisions without external influences.
I think the western culture is gradually infiltrating Nigeria in that area, that's why people talk about divorce here and there.

Typical marriages in the US let's the bride and groom sign about 3 or 4 pages of paper, for better and for worst things. A divorce on same marriage will require you signing about 43 pages of paper on same topic! You see questions like "Who is authorized to have the kids on Christmas day?", "Who will be paying for their healthcare", etc. Thats when people realise they were scammed all along. Is it by force to marry and stay married?

I know someone that married a lady in the US and three months later, they weren't getting along and they decided to divorce each other. In court, she claimed she got used to the expensive lifestyle the guy exposed her to and she will not be able to bear life without him anymore. Divorce judge ordered the guy to pay her $500 per month for the next 5 years! Dude is still dealing with the payments, for just saying "I do", signing some papers with a girl and staying with her for just 3 months? No kids. To the girl, onto the next one. Marrying people for just a tiny bit of time is her means of income. Her first husband pays her on same grounds, my dude doing same. That can't happen in Nigeria, the judicial system isn't even together yet. With the Internet age, just watch that nonsense get to Africa.

So, who blames those that prefer having just baby mamas and baby daddies? Nobody is signing no papers, properties don't have to be shared, joint custody of kids, hire a cook if you need someone that can cook, get a mister or a mistress if you need someone in za oza room, no need getting all upset over one spouse's actions, no in-law headaches. Abeg.

While Davido has gone back to his roots, Wizkid is busy changing his style to blend with the American style. He doesn't know that Americans hate it when you try to sell them their own idea. Maybe that's part of why drake didn't show up in Wizkid's video.
This is what I was telling someone on my Facebook a couple of weeks ago and the guy as calling me a hater. Wizkid be forming Jamaican and all, while Davido is proud of his broken English and Yoruba. I love Davido for that.

You need a kick in your balls.
Answer my questions or remain silent. The man whose wife stabbed him to death, did he also trigger it?
Does it justify her action?
Did Freeze trigger it too?
If violence from the husband is triggered by nagging?
What triggers nagging from the wife?
Does she nag because she is mad?
How did you all end up with a mad woman?

Does she nag because men ain't perfect after all and she has no other way to be heard? Why don't we address the very root cause of her running mouth?
Why act like men are saints?

Answer all this, then we can talk. Till then, my username probably gives you orgasm, I have noticed you anyway.
Why act like all women are saints? I know you on Nairaland. You hate men and never see anything bad women do, so there is no use arguing with you.

Raine80:
Not advocating that domestic violence is justified some women bait the man, taunt him and push him to the brink. Some will go as far as to hit the man because according to her she can hit him and he won't retaliate because he is a man and he is the one who is meant to keep his cool while she lets hers fly out of the window.
There are violent women out there women who instigate, provoke and play the victim and when a guy does lash out he is the aggressor. Violence regardless of gender is never ok.
Thanks for this comment.

It is better to be alone than be with a cantankerous woman!

So many men have lost their limbs n lives in such tangle.

Imaging a guy returns home from work n she immediately swung into action because he got home a lil late. She was on his neck from d door. He tried to ignore her, went to d room to drop his briefcase, she followed, wudnt let him a space to even change. To d living room, she still followed him, all the while spewing fire. He cudnt take it, he picked his car keys, tried to go out, she hooked him by d collar. Wit a lil efort n a shove, she let go. He drove off. Went to a chilling spot, soaked his liver out. It was getting late so he entered his ride n made home. Guess what? He wife got news d next day n started weeping! he had a fatal accident n died on d spot.

The idiat actually started weeping. angry

If only men report d mental/emotional abuses some evil women rain on em, the core of d world wud tilt . But they are men n cant embarrass em selves talking sbout such.

I think some of these celebrity wifys are terribly strong headed/belligerent n d fact that dey can pay their own bills n hv wack single friends advising em wrongly, we wud keep having these issues!
Something similar to this your story happened in my area a couple of years ago. The man didn't die sha, but he used a wheelchair for many years and now walks with a limp. Women will never learn. And feminism is making matters worse these days.

RomanceMy Take On Domestic Violence by olab059(op): 1:53pm On May 12, 2017
When something becomes recurrent in a society, I always try to look at the root cause. I totally condemn domestic violence, and I don't think any man should hit a woman, cos physically, men are stronger than women, but why is the case of men beating up their wives so rampant these days? What's really going on?

I know women don't want to face the reality that they might also have a hand in this, but that is the bitter truth. As I said before, a man should never hit a woman, but trust me, women can so push men to the wall. I have seen gentle men turn to beasts because of constant verbal abuse by their wives. I know ladies never like to talk about this. They prefer to always play the victim, and put all the blame on the man, but let's be realistic here. A man is not as good at verbal assault as most women are, and women don't know that words hurt just as much as physical harm. They go on and on, even when the man is not saying anything back, and we are all human...everyone has a breaking point. Most times when men hit women, it is not premeditated (except for some sick men who just love beating women to show they are the head of the home); when a man hits a woman it usually is trigger from verbal abuse from the woman.

I remember when I was doing my youth service, I had a corper girlfriend, and after the Batch B left, we decided to take up this vacant two bedroom apartment in the school compound. Everything was going fine at first, and then came the nagging, and the insults. I couldn't believe she was the same girl I had known all along. I moved out after 3 weeks. This gave me a taste of how women can be in marriages. I also remember when I was staying with my elder brother, his wife to be at the time got angry one early morning when they were both heading to work and started reigning curses on him...revealing a lot of secrets he had shared with her in private. She was shouting at the top of her voice, and calling my brother a weakling. My brother got angry after a while, and asked her to pack out her things but he didn't hit her. I swear, I wanted to go and shut her up myself.

I know females will never see anything wrong with what some of them do to trigger domestic violence, but the truth is the truth.

Setting morality aside, they don't look Nigerian somehow. Even Local Nigerian girls are usually good looking and in many instances better built than the middle-class ones, Oluchi for instance. If the guy is Nigerian, hope he's not exploiting girls from Togo or the Benin Republic because the girls in the pic look like those people.
Exactly my thoughts. I doubt those are Nigerian girls.

BrightEye:
I drank an alcoholic wine on an empty stomach(I found the wine in a friends house, being the leftover after a party), thinking it would ease the hunger striking me as a result of me being broke and had not taken any meal for about 30 hours.
At first, I though the wine was helpful, because it made me felt no hunger. But when the intoxication faded away, I experienced like 5 times of the previous hunger. This time my body began to shake, feeling light, and staggering.
I was a shy guy who would rather go hungry than beg for money. But this time I didn't know how I entered into a restaurant, ordered for bread and beans, and eat to the fullest. It was until that hunger went away that I realised the trouble I was into. I pretended to had lost my wallet by searching my pockets at the payment place. surprisingly, they let me go, and even showed sympathy.
Oh Lord, let me not see such experience in my life again.
Men! I can totally relate to this. I was so broke one time I didn't even have money for pure water. The people I was staying with at the time had a guest they bought stout for, and there was one bottle left. Around midnight, I entered the parlor and drank the stout just to have some liquid in my body. I slept off but woke up like two hours later...my body was shaking and I was sweating all over. I swear I thought I was going to die of starvation cos I hadn't eaten anything in about 48 hours. I entered one room in the house that was used as a store and started ransacking the place like a rat, till I found one old PRESENT (what kids get at birthdays) and there were lots of different types of sweets in there. I started licking the sweets...i licked like 6-8 sweets, and my body stopped shaking. The next day, I walked all the way from Yaba to my parents house in Egbeda. It took me like 5 hours. I collapsed when I got there. Men! I swear, I have suffered in this world.
