Science/Technology / Re: What Will The Sky Look Like If Planets Were As Close To Us As The Moon? by OLADIMEHJI(m): 12:08pm On Jul 08, 2016
bluaero:
7. Jupiter

The diameter of Jupiter is 40 times larger than that of the moon and it would dominate the night sky if it were in the same position. Jupiter is so large that from Earth we would not be able to see the north and south poles of the planet, as it would fill the sky as far as we can see. We would all feel a lot more humble with Jupiter's presence constantly looking over us.

In other words, if you were to suddenly step out of your house and see Jupiter in the night sky, you will put your hands on your head and say “Chai!!! There is God o! shocked

But guys, if this were to magically happen in reality, we would have more pressing things to worry about than how awesome the sky looks. Jupiter would continuously zap us with mass amounts of deadly radiation, the earth’s axis will have a massive tilt, the earth will spin much slower and there will be no nights, there will be violent tides and sporadic volcanic eruptions and we would also weigh much lighter due to Jupiter’s gravitational influence. You will wish Jupiter goes back to where it came from!

If Jupiter were the planet in the moon's position, it’s likely Earth would not even survive intact. The Earth will be ripped into pieces and form a ring around Jupiter (just like Saturn).

If this replaces our planet's moon, that will be the end to the "missing moon" issues faced by our Muslim brothers and sisters during Ramadan.

Phones / Glo Deducted Me For Nothing.... by OLADIMEHJI(m): 5:12pm On May 31, 2016
It is high time we found a lasting solution to these fraudsters called network providers. I won't bore you with my epistles.
I was low on call card yesternight and was already late to go outside to recharge, (I don't recharge through my account for personal reasons), so I had to do glo borrowme. I borrowed #50 to alert the person I was on call with that I had exhausted my call card and that we will continue our conversation today. I recharged #200 this morning, I was immediately deducted of the #50 I borrowed which there was no cause for alarm.
All the time I recharged, I didn't make any call apart for 24 seconds call. It was when I tried to send a page message that I found out I had low balance to do so. I was so annoyed because I had almost topped my balance with #1500 for data subscription which I would have subscribed for double recharge promo before doing so and with that I wouldn't have been able to differentiate which of the account they were deducting from while on call.
I called Glo customer center to inform them about the discrepancy and for them to furnish me with what went wrong. To my uttermost surprise, I was told that I was subscribed for caller tunes. I told them I didn't, because I hate the idea myself. They told me that I was subscribed for by the network, I was so infuriated by what I heard. To douse the tension; I enquired if callertunes wasn't #50, they answered in affirmation and was now told that subscription to the service is #100, caller tunes is #50 making it #150 in total.

My problem is not the money, but how long these shitty network providers keep stealing money from us in the name of services we didn't subscribe for with their abysmal services.
I will like this to go around, this cheat must stop.

Europija:
Hello all...My boyfriend started acting strange...I have been together with him for 4 years and now he started calling me only at night from midnight and he doesn't pick my calls when it is day time.

When he calls me at night we will talk for 1 or 2 hours and he will be happy when he talks to me and still talks about future... When i ask him why he doesn't pick my call at day time he will give me some silly excuse like he was sleeping etc..Also he doesn't have a job and we live in different countries...I am thinking maybe he is cheating on me but why then is he not sleeping with that girl at night? If he has a woman he would also stay at night with her...right? What could it be??

Hope you also tried to take note of your timezone difference since you claim to stay in different countries.

Please tell Nigerians how Jonathan and his economic team would have managed N149b i 2015 budget without functional refineries?
Didn't you read the part when they were screaming that there would be removal of the whole subsidy by July 1st this year? and we were all amazed when we saw that they still include it in this year budget. Every sane Nigerians know that PDP regime was a big time scam.
Obasanjo nearly sold Nigeria in the name of privatisation. He sold the house of reps. lodge and we later changed it into allowances, do you know how much we have been losing in that aspect in business terms.
In 2011, the budget for subsidy was only 200+ billion naira which later turn into 2. Trillion naira. So if you must have been conversant with the turn of things in this country you should have known that it's not about how much they budgeted but the extent at which they can have their way

For ur mind pvc collection figure shows who wins?

Why not use land mass too to determine who wins.

With all d noise bn made in SW, GEJ won in many of d wards, the margin which apc used to beat pdp in sw is not much.

Now that has put apc in tight corner. If NC favours GEJ, that's d last straw that will break d camel's back.

For me to be able to know what I am up to, is there no hint about the type of restaurant we are investing on? What I mean is that, are we investing in a classy, low budget or middle class restaurant? Because if we are to start analysing, the different classes of restaurant comes with different things to consider.
*The threat to a low class type and the type of people that will patronise ( considering the amount of money they are ready to part with on a plate of meal) is definitely different from that of a high class type.
* The required capital to startup is definitely different
* The competition is equally different, because a high class type will definitely have a lesser threat compared to that of a low class which requires a lesser capital to start up
* The supplies ( this is minimal to the low budgeted class), like the quantity of foodstuffs, meat, disposables, serviette and so on
Then I can now try to know what and what factor will affect my choice of location.

I had a friend during my service year, she finished from ESUT without a complete WAEC result ( no maths, no English). It was during our service year she enrolled for O'level again and asked for our help because examination malpractices is so rampant in Enugu both waec and jamb. They don't repeat classes over there, a student with 9 Fs will get promoted in all the state schools because it's constitutional, though I heard they are trying to amend it. So imagine students with the mentality "that no one can fail them", how can they become serious! Though, they still have those that know what school is all about. So you guys should tell me a state in the west with such policy.

This years results will still show!! We r not scared of competition and don't need to garner positions and figures via propaganda, I can bet my whole life imo, delta, or anambra will still come out tops. I wonder how anambra even beat us(imo), it used to be an impossibilty. Well were all the same breed no shaking.
You guys should stop acting like you don't know better. There is no region without blemish, but when one is claiming holier than thou the end result will always be bashing. At least I have spent more than 7years of my life in the east ( tertiary education and service year). Sentiments apart, the way education is been treated in the southwest (both private and public) has unequalled march from any other region. We know our spoken English is always been smeared by our intonation (because we like speaking our dialects a lot), but this is the basis you people have been using to measure knowledge which makes you to be always wrong. Anytime you skip a class of knowledge, it will always cost you more than a year or never to regain it. But speaking good English is just a matter of dedication and will.

Because some people don't eat red meat and they avoid chicken all together to lower their fat intake. Everyone knows what he or she wants in a food ( some to avoid health issues and some to maintain their structure).

Culture / Re: The Tom And Jerry Relationship Between The Igbos And Yorubas. by OLADIMEHJI(m): 9:33am On Jul 14, 2014
[/ce author=tonychristopher]By 2030, Yorubas will become minority in Nigeria and even in South west as Igbos and Hausas have taken over all the business opportunities because the acclaimed native (Yoruba) are NATURALLY very lazy to their bones".

Its always sad when an entire tribe receives insult or their character unearthed due to the insanity of one individual whotechnologiesclaimed to be their son, but might be fathered by unknown hired Niger Soldier during the Nigerian - Biafra civil war.

When Lagos was the capital of Nigeria Hausa/Fulani and igbos invested hugely in Lagos city. After the shift of Lagos as capital of Nigeria to Abuja, they took over the economy of Lagos from the British. From onset, Yorubas were only busy dancing Owanbe in the streets of Lagos and Ibadan.

Till date, their lazy bones couldn't allow them invest and assist the boost of Nigeria's economy.

Hausa and Igbos took over South west economy from British not from yorubas and its never by force or with arms but by economic skills and strategies built through progressive business mind. The Simple fact is that, they took over the economy because majority of yorubas are very lazy and few educated ones among them only want a white collor job where they will be accountants or useless lawyer for the Hausa and igbo rich men.

Let us specifically give some of these ignorant Yorubas commons sense analogue and idea about Igbos economic dominance and Hausa business and agricultural progresses.

Igbos did not see Yorubas in Benin republic to dominate the market there, Igbos did not see Yorubas in Togo to dominate economy there, Igbos did not see Yorubas in Ghana to dominate economy there, Igbos did not see Yorubas in Ivory Coast to dominate economy there, eithier did Hausa see Yoruba before dominating Saudi Arabia, Niger and other part of the continent with their agricultural products and trades. Igbos did not see Yorubas in Nairobi Kenya before displacing Indians there to dominate their economy, Igbos did not see Yorubas in China to dominate all the shopping malls at Guangxillu in Guangzhuo China.

Hausa did not see Yoruba before dominating Money Exchange trade and gold businesses. This list may be endless. Igbos and Hausas/Fulani are very hard working Nigerians.

QUESTIONS

In what trade or fields are Yorubas famous?. What are their contribution to Nigeria economically?.

Average yoruba in Lagos state is a street taut or thug. Majority of dirty houses in Lagos are owned, and occupied by Yorubas. Big masions or companies in Lagos were own by Igbos and Hausa.

RESEARCH RESULT by Independent body;

74 percent of investment in Lagos are own by Igbos. 5 percent by Hausa/Fulani, 15 percent by Foreigners(Non-Nigerians), 5 percent by other Nigerians(Non Igbo, Hausa and Yoruba), 1 percent by Yorubas (which include Mike Adenuga).

Igbos and Hausa are not only living in Lagos. Igbos live in the east, in the north. Hausas live in the east, west and north like any igbo. Yorubas are very few in other part of the country. Their laziness never allow them go far. Of course, they can't go to Kano, Port Harcourt or Enugu to do Alaye job.

The problem here is that Igbos migrate more than others and they are been tagged criminals even caught Yoruba criminals most times claim Igbo.

Igbo are followed by Hausa, but Yorubas never migrate like them to have experience and see things for themselves. That's why Hausa and Igbos can make better united Nigeria. Though few Hausas can speak Igbo and Yoruba language, but majority of igbos speaks both Hausa and Yoruba very fluently.

While Yorubas hardly speak both. In some cases, very few yorubas in Military service speaks unclear Hausa language.

The true is the good migration among Nigerians and doing business or trading improves our nationality, unity and languages. It boost our economy too, but Lazy bones don't. They sit tight at home and gossips.

As America, Asia are dominated by Igbos, so as Saudi Arabia is dominated by Hausa, and they are all doing businesses there, and doing them well. They invest every where and in Nigeria.

UK is dominated by lazy Yorubas who do nothing there but claimed schooling while majority are just mere taxi drivers or plate and car washers for Westerner. When they can't feed their families with good job, they go on trafficking cocaine or coming back to Lagos where they will join their brothers on Area boys business collecting money or begging money from Hausa and igbo productive people.

As Hausas are interested in politics, so as Yorubas but the difference is that Hausas still do their businesses and farming; feeding the nation day and night, the Yorubas do nothing but follow politicians up and down and hang in the street of lagos for Agboro job. Their youths are always going around waiting when an Igbo or Hausa will buy Land or build house for them to walk with their lazy bones for what they call "Alaye. Fee". Which is more of begging or silly claim to be owners of the land. Yorubas sell of there lands but leaves inside Lagoon or Canann where water flush them and there families away during raining seasons. They leave most in very smelling dirty places and most times their toilets is inside their cooking pots.

The igbos have left politics since 1967 and now only interested in boosting Nigerians economy with their wealth of experiences in trade, education, technology and science. Since we welcomed Democracy in Nigeria, they have not been politically wise or interested in politics.

If we know the igbos in Education, Trade, business, science and technology, and then know the Hausa/Fulanis in Trade, business, and agriculture, what can we say of the Yorubas? I bet Agboro, Owambe, taxi driver, bus conductors, tax collector and Alaye beggers(Area boys).

Most of my Niger friends who are doing businesses in Lagos complain how these Yoruba tauts disturb them daily. They even sometimes attack some of the Niger boys doing Security works in Lagos. Ahmad from Niger told me how these guys disturbed his other Niger friend selling Suya. They come every evening to eat his Suya forcefully and sometimes beats him if he do complain. He told me that his friend was provoked, then he planned for them one day. One evening these Yoruba boys came with their girl friends, forcefully eating his Suya worth 10,000 naira again, unfortunately, the Suya have been poised with Sleeping drug. So after sitting and eating while shouting, they all slept there, hopelessly till 1am. The four girls where gang Molested severally till 4am by Niger boys who joined their brothers and the five boys were killed. And these Niger boys disappeared from Lagos back to their country.

Later, All Niger and Hausa within that street became target by the friends of these vicitims. Businesses were closed for two weeks in that street because of this and police keep patroling to maintain peace and order.

This is how we are loosing citizens and killing businesses. Yorubas must learn to address tautism, criminality, tribalism, thuggry, and laziness among their people.

NOTE: Not all Yorubas are lazy, down to their bone marrows, some are hard working, sincere and nice, though 90% majority in their huge numbers are very lazy and are touts in all major streets in Nigeria. I have many good Yorubas who are nice people and work in good places.
Stop being myopic. Is trade and commerce the only sector we have in Nigeria or all ovet the continent? For your information, trade and commerce requires no skills (which is what majority if you guys are known for), majority of Yoruba's don't have flair for all these short term business, we go for the long term and the real legit businesses, like real estates, oil and gas, telecoms, science and technology. We improve lifes and strife to improve on things that have been like botany( finding herbs that can be a panacea to all forms of ailment). This life is not a one way traffic, it's by division of labour... not seeing majority of yorubas in the buying and selling sector doesn't mean our presence isn't felt in other sectors.
For your information, everyone and every tribes has their area of speciality, like the Asians for the technology know-how and the blacks as athletes, so is within Nigeria and other countries. That is why we are needed to work hand-in-hand to uplift the standard of living of all men.

(2) aw many towns n citys do we witness traffic jams in ondo state dat makes us to b in nid of rails as anoda means of transportation lyk lagos?
(3)aw many private companies do we v in Ondo state lyk Lagos state.
so dse few reasons nid to make u realise dat we stl nid to put a lot of tins on ground to woo private companies down to Ondo state n ds wl inturn boost our IGR n more people wl troop down to Ondo state for jobs n livin wic I believe dat is wat our honourable Gov. Olusegun Rahman Mimiko is tryin to achieve. (creatin a realiable structure for d development of Ondo state ). Til den I believe ondo state vision is so diff. to dat of Lagos. tnx

They did not suceeded for almost 16 weeks and they now wanted to strife 4 just ( i mean just ) two weeks for successful delibration. should we b 4ced to believe this!
