I really need someone to tell me the truth if what I've done is bad even though I feel no guilt in it except for the fact that my fiancé is thinking of leaving me just at the beginning of this new year.

Some weeks back last year December, I asked my fiancé to update my Whatsapp for me so I could be able to video call him when we are far from each other and he agreed. Only for him to start snooping around in my messages, especially the ones between me and my ex. And this made him to confront me.
Now he claims he does't have any problem with me chatting with my ex but his problem is that first, I still call my ex sweetie when chatting with him and second, I'm always the first to initiate a chat with him.

Personally I have always called my ex sweetie and bea and don't see why I should stop now. And yes I do initiate most chat when I need someone to talk to and I know my fiancé will be too busy or unreachable. How is this a problem I'm not cheating on him with my ex But he is threating to quit our relationship Is he being unreasonable Or I'm the unreasonable one

my advice for you

if you lose your fiance(boyfriend) karma has a way of paying people back for their deeds because from the way you talking I think he loves you...i also think you are still immatured dealing with relationship matters, you luck to have a loving guy that others are looking for while playing your gullibility.
also avoid all means of communication with any ex you have in order not to jeopardise your relationship.....I know of guys that won't tell their girl if they were in ur guy place and they will serve her, Her own cup of tea to know how it feels betterstill he might still dump your sorry ass if you keep attitude like this up

Salam, my humble understand is that although democracy is not permitted in Islam in fact it is a form of shirk but in a country like Nigeria you don't expect we Muslims to back out of political affair because they use democracy even roosul is not against involving in political affair..... IT JUST LIKE SAYING SINCE TAKING PICTURE IS NOT PERMITTED IN ISLAM THEN YOU WILL NOT TAKE PASSPORT FOR YOUR VISA TO TRAVEL OUT OF THE COUNTRY......they are two different issues, democracy is not permitted I know but you don't expect the unbelievers to always govern over us always..... That why there is so much corruption and atrocity in the country because we are not do our system of government the way Allah want it but since they have insisted we use democracy and not shariah in order to let peace rein.

There are two opposing view concerning as-salat Fatih.
1. Those who condemned it reasoned that it was not prescribed by the holy prophet (peace be on him and his household). They further argued that what is established from the prophet is Salat Ibrahimiyah : "O Allah! Bless Muhammad and the household of Muhammad in exact manner you have blessed Ibrahim and the household of Ibrahim..."

These group deem any other form of 'salat ala Nabiyy' apart from the one above as 'Bid'ah - Innovation' which will lead to hell.

2. The second group also believe in the above salat Ibrahimiyah and they practice it esp. during tashahud but also recite an additional salat Nabiyy called "salat al-Fatih" and it reads:

"O God bless our Master Muhammad (pbuh) who opened what had been closed, and who is the Seal of what had gone before, he who makes the Truth Victorious by the Truth, the guide to thy straight path, and bless his household as is the due of his immense position and grandeur"

My humble Opinion
A. Seeking salawat upon the blessed Muhammad and his purified household is commanded by Allah in the holy Quran. It carries magnificent reward to the extent that "whoever prays and did not salute and send blessing on the prophet and his household, his prayer (salat) is void" ~Imam Shafi'i.

B. When the command of sending blessing upon the prophet was revealed, the companions ask how to go about it and the prophet (peace be on him and his household) recommended "salat Ibrahimiyyah". The question whoever is can we compose another form of praise and salawat for Muhammad (peace be on him and his household) in addition to salat ibrahimiyyah?

There is absolutely NOTHING wrong in doing that so far we did not abandon the initial one!

C. Going through the text of Salat al-Fatih, every single verse of the salat is in perfect harmony with the holy Quran and the recommended salat ibrahimiyyah.

D. Those who say it is wrong to recite salat al-fatih because it was not established by the prophet (peace be on him and his household) himself should bring prove why they themselves practice the following while it can NEVER be established as practice authorize by the prophet:

i. "Allahuma sali ala Muhammad wa ala ahlihi wa ala as'abihi ajmain"
NB: what is recommended is the unbolded part. Prophet NEVER authorized the bolded part. We only use our initiatives to add the companions as a result of their selfless contributions.

ii. Saying of "RadiAllahu anhum/Ridwanullah alayhi" after the name of the companions.
Even the companions themselves NEVER practice such not to mention the holy prophet (peace be on him and his household).

iii. Praying of Tarawih.
Muhammad (peace be on him and his household) NeVER institutionalized it. In fact he kicked against it and the 2nd khalifa who institutionalized it called it "Bid'ah Hassanat (good innovation)". He never tagged it as "Sunnati Nabiyy (practice of the prophet)".

E. The grave danger and controversy concerning salat al-Fatih is when some of its adherents begin to insinuate and make juxtapositions that the 'salat' is greater than Quran or can replace obligatory salat etc.

salam, I concur with what you have written...some Muslims believe that reciting 3 solatul fatih has cover a daily solatul, some even say without ablution if you recite solatul fatih it is enough for you obligatory solat.
Also I know of people that don't recite both the ibrahimiyah and fatih.
my humble suggestion is that it is best one should avoid any innovation either fatih or ibrahimiyah or any other that one does not find concrete evidence that the prophet practiced them.

I started dating In senior sec sch to a guy I loved and who never loved me back but only dated my cos of my popularity and the attention I gave him, breaking up with him I dated another guy just to forget the first guy and also hoping this wud be better but it didn't turn out well, he tried wooing my girlfrnd by insulting me, I confronted him, he apologized but I couldn't stay with him, I just zereod my mind off him even though he showed he was sorry. Some times later like 3yrs after met another guy but it didn't last, this last one was the most terrible but I wud ignore it cos it brings tears to my eyes.

So right now after 5yrs from my second relationship and days of training myself to avoid relationships and just be friends with guys, I find myself with people that love me and wud want to spend their life with me, but I can't reciprocate the love any longer, I feel like I am deceiving them, I like dem, even one has stayed with me through all my pains and lafta and also there is the guy who is the second guy who wooed my friend still asking for a second chance and a lovely guy dah I met recently who i see as an angel and lastly there is a guy who has spread my qualities to all his fam members and frnds and I know he loves me dearly.

My main reason for writing this is to know if its possible to make my heart love again and if it can which one of these four guys shud I stay with?
