European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Chelsea Vs Newcastle (1 - 0) On 13th March 2022 by Olam09(m): 2:57pm On Mar 13, 2022
macho44:
Newcastle have won one of their last 27 away league games against Chelsea (seven draws, 19 defeats), winning 2-0 under Alan Pardew in May 2012.

Against no other side have Chelsea won more Premier League matches at home than we have against Newcastle (19 – as many as against Tottenham).

Chelsea are unbeaten in our last 34 Premier League home games played in March (29 wins, five draws), since a 4-2 defeat against Sunderland in 2001.

We are unbeaten in our last 16 games at Stamford Bridge in all competitions. The last time we achieved a longer sequence was in 2018 (a run of 17).

Chelsea are looking to win five successive Premier League games for the first time since 2019. That was a run of six that included a 1-0 home win against Newcastle.

Excluding penalty shoot-outs, Thomas Tuchel’s side have only been defeated twice in 36 games in all competitions, winning 24 of them.
Newcastle are undefeated in the Premier League since before Christmas. They last lost in the competition 10 games ago on 19 December against Man City at James’ Park (0-4).

PREDICTION
Chelsea 2
Newcastle 2
Let's go for the win blues..

I think pregnancy is more challenging. I've heard countless stories of how pregnant women behave weird as a result of the pregnancy hormones.

My elder brother's wife once said to his husband " Honey, clap for me. Our baby needs noise" grin grin grin.
I was like "what da f***k."

She sometimes prefers to soak ordinary garri to eating a well prepared meal. I will just be like "What is wrong with this woman?"

Pregnant women can be weird.

QuinModah:
Domestic Violence Is An Accepted Nigerian Epidemic
Domestic violence is a funny problem because everyone online fights against it and indoors dey practice it

Domestic violence is not an issue of today its something that is done regularly in our society and its often commonly overlooked , there is no Nigerian that hasn't seen a man beating his wife , from neighbors to friends even movies show it, its a common thing here, when kids or young boys see men beating their wives they accept that its the way to handle issues , the fact the social media has made it possible for people to reach out Doesn't mean that it will stop , its normal to nigerians so stop hoping for any change , instead be observant

The problem is the women not the men b4 u eat me raw hear me out

Antelope when know wetin lion be has no business staying in the same house with it - jude 2017

If a woman is dating a man , it only takes one incident for her to know that he is a violent person , maybe one day she annoys him and he insults her or slaps her a normal woman with brain in her head will run away from that relationship no matter how hard the guy begs but when this happens to most women they will stay because of love or they are desperate for marriage if he is rich , they will be hoping that he will change over time. When you marry a man that has slapped u b4 or is quick to insult u , expecting marriage to change him is desperation my sister

If u know that ur man is hot tempered and you're desperate or u love him them learn to handle him , dont talk back at him when he is angry , become a sheep after all you're the desperate person , if ur brain they work u learn to live with it

When u see news or stories of a man beating a woman , don't be deceived the man didn't just beat her for the first time that day , he has been doing it for a very very long time , na that day own u hear

Most women will talk bad about it but when it happens to them they are quiet , the common nigerian thing of no be my matter people go hear

Conclusion; Nigerian society encourages it , even our leaders beat their wives , ebonyi state governor , if a random man beats his wife and he is arrested , he wouldn’t be convicted because even if its a crime they dont see it as one , police will tell him to calm down and na woman she be , in short they will call the beaten wife and advice her to learn to respect her husband

This is us , its the way we are , when we now see threads about it , guys that beat women will be shouting no its wrong as if they are any better , all na internet holiness

its simple my sisters

From you're mad to a slap to push to punch to beating to knife to strangle to I will kill you till he eventually kills you

The domestic violence thing isn't an individual problem its a Nigerian problem

if a man slaps u, insults u or gets angry easily dont marry him run as fast as ur legs can carry u
Hmm..

Hamachi:
My cousin who got married last year July is actually thinking of leaving the marriage because the husband was diagnosed of kidney failure and needs a transplant. The summary of the story is that the family of the man is expecting the newly married wife to donate one of her kidney to the man because my cousin is biological match to the husband, she and her family has said LAI LIA O, that his their child and they should find a way to go about it. After dragging this issues for some months, my cousin family are pushing her to file for a divorce

A. Would it be considered wickedness on her part considering, his not only the husband but PARTLY trained her in school too?

B. The marriage is less than a year no much money to even look for a seller, Aunty want to japa and leave the man

What do you think?
Your cousin and her family are evil.. she took the oath in church on their wedding day that through thick and thin she'll be there. Your cousin is darn evil!

Music, without a doubt, plays a major role in Christian worship. For this reason, many Christians draw inspiration from the lyrics of popular Christian songs.

For me, here's a short list of songs that help me enjoy a melodious Christian life.

Way Maker by Spinach
Miye Ruwe by Frank Edwards
Jesus Take a the Wheels by Carrie Underwood
Jesus at the Centre by Eben
Be Revealed by Elijah Oyelade
All that Matters by GUC
You Say by Lauren Daigle
Oceans (Where Feet May Fail) by Kirk Franklin

englishmart:
I moved to Lagos from Abuja recently, and have been struggling to adapt for several reasons.

1. Food costs a bit more in Lagos than in Abuja.

2. A-20 minute distance by foot costs at least #150-200 here, unlike in Abuja where it's at mostly #100.

3. Water(drinkable water) in Abuja was almost free, and very salubrious. Here at the island, you buy sachet water (pure water) which is the only affordable water that boasts of some minimal degree of purity.

I was shocked when I ordered for Akara of 250 and got those nearly invisible 5-balls. I nearly refused it, if not for the beautiful girl that was leering at me.

Nairaland General › Re: Why Do Men Have Problem With Helping A Fellow Man? My Experience. by Olam09(m): 12:53pm On Mar 12, 2022
lecturer50:
I had a misunderstanding with some motor park agberos and they gang up to beat me up.

Nobody cared to try and save me from them.

After I managed to escape, some people started blaming the agberos for "fighting with me".

I was wondering how people could call that "fighting" when I was not fighting them, but they were the ones who assaulted and beat me up.

Prior to this, a lady went to fight with one boy. She was even the one who was beating the boy while the boy was trying to cover herself from the blows.

Before you know it, many men around joined to beat up the boy. They accused the boy of beating the lady even when it was clear the lady was the one who beat the boy while he was covering himself and trying to escape.

What I observe is that even if it is a female who is assaulting a male, people tend to say it is the male who is the culprit and they'll be supporting the lady.

If a male is being assaulted by another male or males, people would say they are fighting, so that they won't feel the need to save the victim from his tormentors.

All these is done because men don't want to help a fellow man.
Let's discuss this..

It's mid night and heavy rains and I hear the sound of glass breaking and my car horn....

Picked up my phone touch and a stick, ran straight to my dad's room to get the main door key, opened his room door; and boom.....I saw @$@$$#@$$2@#$_@.

The really annoying thing is that I froze for like 3 seconds with touchlight in hands (wasn't with my glasses so really didn't see well) until my mum screamed at me to get out.......I feel so embarrassed and how do I get that image off my head......

It's my bad habit of not knocking before entering that put me in this situation but you can't blame me......am in my 20s and have never seen my Nigerian parents intimate with each other plus I was raised in a semi Deeper Life family so am sure you understand how shocked and embarrassed am currently feeling.

Just had to share this anonymously on Nairaland probably to get it off my chest......

I'm 31 and my friend is 34 years. Lately we've been having some issues over the above topic.
I don't know why but he takes so much pleasure in sleeping with girls he's far older than. Like 18, 19 years old girls (very tender girls).

Anytime I complain about this, it becomes an issue. He even think I'm jealous of him, in fact he told me today to stop been jealous but frankly I feel very embarrassed anytime he brings such girls to our gathering.

We are new in this area but people have already taken notice of this and its even rubbing off on me now.

The funny thing is he doesn't even feel any shame or remorse about this.
He must be mad. I know a guy like that too.. but when i explained to him about the implications of what he's doing. He stopped it immediately.
