I think PDP is dead as a party. The wise ones should start decamping. PDP cannot win any SW states in the nearest future. They can make noise, use federal power, but the people power will checkmate them. Now that Benin has firmly spoken, I expect a tsunami to remove PDP from the remaining SS states. Our SE brothers will one day wake up ( or risk being further marginalised by the PDP vampires). The North may be PDP's last resort, but then, they have to replace GEJ with a hausa-fulani. But till then, I pray that PDP continues to suffer set-backs.

One would have thought PDP was really popular from the way they were advertised by our own president. Reality will dawn on them tomorrow morning.

Nigeria is largely a society that worships criminals. I have met many British political office holders and had conversations with some of them. I wish to meet someone like a state governor, senator, or even commissioner in Nigeria. I want to face them and ask them serious questions. I will like to know if anyone has had the chance to confront a serving politician. What was the experience like? Did they feel insulted?

Christianity Etc › Re: Was Ship Load Of BIBLES Really Sunk By Abiola? by olapluto(m): 4:56pm On Jun 13, 2012
Please I need the name of the vessel, the date it left its port, the date it was sunk, the crew, and the vessel's leaving port and destination. Many a times Nigerians have been lied to, and most of us are so gullible to take the lies hook line and sinker. Our huge population is a problem. If 1% of every nation is gullible, then we have 15 million gullible Nigerians. About 30 of them are on this thread so far.
Christianity Etc › Re: Was Ship Load Of BIBLES Really Sunk By Abiola? by olapluto(m): 4:53pm On Jun 13, 2012
2Mekus: I have personally met a man who championed the sinking of those Bibles on the sponsorship of Abiola/IBB. He was a one time Jihadist in the name of their allah. A prominent grand-son of Late Uthman Dan Fodio. He is now a borne-again Christian and goes by the name Blessed Usman. He confessed to the crime at a congregation and gave a graphic account of what happened and how he was arrested by the Lord when on a mission to kill the late Idahosa in Kano.

So it is true that Abiola paid for the destruction of Holy Bibles on the high sea.
You, sir, are a pathetic liar! You are not serious at all and you need not come on this forum to try display your ignorance. What in God's name are you talking about? You are repeating the same lies we had some weeks back about a son of Emir of Kano who converted to christianity. We later found out it was a well written scam done by some unscrupulous agents. It is very unfortunate that you now lay personal association to that scam.
This story is also one of such. It is a big lie that has no basis what so ever.
Christianity Etc › Re: Was Ship Load Of BIBLES Really Sunk By Abiola? by olapluto(m): 4:22am On Jun 13, 2012
I do not believe this story. It makes very little sense. Bashorun MKO needs not sink bibles to prove any point. He was never a religious fanatic, rather he was a philanthropist.
Having said that, how does sinking ship load of bible affect christianity in Nigeria? How many people read them anyway? and of those who read them, how many understand? and of those who understand, how many make use of them? Do most Nigerian christians not worship MOGs and money?

If their account is true, then they are heroes and should be regarded as such. America did not get independence through dialogue. It was through radical actions like this. If we had more actions like this, Nigeria will not get this bad.
Politics › Re: OYO State Declares June 12 Public Holiday by olapluto(op): 4:26pm On Jun 10, 2012
This is what brother GEJ should have done in the first instance. It's never too late. June 12 should be democracy day and not May 29. May 29 is a sorrowful day; a day when PDP and its gang get to laugh at us after stealing our votes.
Politics › OYO State Declares June 12 Public Holiday by olapluto(op): 4:24pm On Jun 10, 2012
The Oyo State Government has declared Tuesday, June 12, 2012 as public holiday.

In a statement signed by Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Akin Olajide, the government said it declared the day, earmarked as Democracy Day, to remember the anniversary of the June 12, 1993 elections, believed to be the freest and fairest election in the electoral history of Nigeria.

The election was generally believed to have been won by late Chief MKO Abiola.

The government said the anniversary was also in recognition and honour of the martyrdom of Chief Abiola, who laid down his life for Nigerians to enjoy the democratic dividends of today.

Before next weekend, Ekiti, Osun and Lagos will follow.
Politics › Re: SANUSI Coronation: Is CBN Not Mourning It's Staff? by olapluto(m): 10:16pm On Jun 09, 2012
Would the ceremony have gone ahead if Sanusi was involved in the crash? Would it have gone ahead if Sanusi's children had perished in it? Would it have gone ahead if the Governor of Kano state had perished in it? To me, the ceremony is the height of insensitivity.

Ok call me crazy, but I do not believe this BH statement. How on earth is it possible to kill 50 trained soldiers in a day using AK-47? and they lost just 1 fighter. Seriously? Soldiers with bullet proofs and Armoured tanks? 50 just like that? 1,2,3,4......50?
Abu Qaqa was a better spox indeed.

Travel › Re: Peter Waxtan: Pilot Of Dana Airlines' Unlucky Plane by olapluto(m): 10:28am On Jun 06, 2012
downdraft: I personally knew Capt Peter Waxtan. before I was captain at Spirit Airlines in 2000 I flew with him as his co-pilot. Captain Waxtan had many years of experience flying DC-9's, MD-83's, Air Bus A-320 series. he was a good pilot and would have no problem flying the MD-83 with a simple engine filure. The MD-83 is an easy plane to fly, with almost all manual flight controls. I dont want to seccond guess but on 1 single engine, 147 Pax light fuel load, no problem to handle. I suspect there may have been fuel contamination, causing a dual engine failure. The only other thing that would be difficult to handle would be a Horizontal Stabilizer Jackscrew fairlure or a thrust reverser unlock. One thing for sure, the flight data recorder and the cockpit voice recorder should explain what happend. I am very sad to hear this story, especially about my co-worker but also the many loss of lives from the airplane and the ground. May God bless them all and may the rest in peace.
That over-confidence in the face of relevant safety may have been the cause of this crash. Following safety procedure has to be 100% though it may look boring. Even if he can fly a faulty train, he SHOULD NOT fly it with people on board. It is irresponsible

If all MOGs in Nigeria can talk like this man, things will not get this bad. Woe betide any politician that goes to this man to kneel down for blessing. Truth told right in front of the people who are culprits. Truth told without fear, or favour. If this were military era, I doubt he will be walking free now.

Foreign Affairs › Re: Israeli Violence And Racism Against African Immigrants by olapluto(m): 11:04am On May 25, 2012
frosbel: I am against Zionist elements of Israel society, who these people belong to, but I cannot for the life of me understand why you and your Jew hating cohorts have condemned the whole of Israel as a nation.

Besides, it is not the Jews who are killing thousands in the North of Nigeria and millions worldwide including their own kinsmen, it the fanatical Arab ideologists originating from Saudi Arabia.

In Libya blacks were inhumanely tortured and killed , in Iraq blacks who have lived there for eons are still second rate citizens and at the rock bottom of the economic ladder, in Nigeria the Arab Lebanese treat our blacks like dung, in our own country, wow.

Summarily , I do not support the ongoing racism in Israel , but there are far worse things to worry about such as Boko Haram and Islamic militancy worldwide.
First bolded: Where in my post does it say I hate Jews? You're bigoted and pathetically unrepentant
Second and Third bolded: confirmed! Your agenda exposed again. Arabs = Islam. It didnt take long before you expose yourself. You mildly blame the Zionists, accuse me of hate (because I spoke against Zionism), and then present Islam as a greater evil.
You are getting boring, and it is easy to own you now. Change tactics man!
Foreign Affairs › Re: Israeli Violence And Racism Against African Immigrants by olapluto(m): 10:48am On May 25, 2012
frosbel: I will choose Israel racism over Arab terrorism any-time , anywhere.
Says all about you! Its OK for Israeli to kill based on hate, but for Arab to do it, it is abomination. You're very intelligent.
Foreign Affairs › Re: Israeli Violence And Racism Against African Immigrants by olapluto(m): 10:46am On May 25, 2012
People confuse Judaism with Zionism. Zionism is advanced racism, Judaism is a religion, like Christianity. Israel as it is now was formed based on ZIONISM. The zionist is a racist, bigoted and wicked individual. They brainwash their kids, they are rich and manipulate the media. Most Jewish Rabbi are against Zionism. Zionists twist the scriptures to fit in their evil idea. Funny thing is that most Zionists are not even Israelis. They are Americans and Europeans who felt they should be the 'chosen people' and moved to their heavenly Israel.
Come to think of it, if truly Israel is the 'chosen state', it wont need nuclear weapons to defend itself. God will defend it.
