please which is better to use An uncle who is using his company's account to sponsor me which include his statement of account, reference letter from bank for a visitors visa or an uncle who is sponsoring but has given his bank statement but no reference letter, but only a letter headed paper from his company stating his sponsorship Please help me nt to make mistake

Where is your Uncle resident? In Nigeria or Canada? option 2 is much better as you are the primary applicant. There is no need involving the company funds. The visa officer search light is more on you so should have cash you are also declaring as your personal funds. That of your uncle is an additional support and the application should demonstrate he has unrestricted access to it. |
Ennybabe2689:A mybankstatement certificate will be more effective as IRCC tends to rely more on that. It is just a one pager document with lesser file size and you can submit that with the reference letter if you can still get it. That does not mean statement of account does not work, just make sure the bank stamps the pages. If you are able to still get the reference letter fine and if not, does not hurt the application as along as the statement is genuine. IRCC always do their independent checks with the internal fraud unit of the respective banks. |
Ennybabe2689:Presenting proof of funds that is not yours but that of a distant uncle or family friend already weakens your home ties because it would tell the visa officer you are not well established back home which reduces your probability of return back to your home country. For a mature adult, it increases your chances if you come up with some cash of your own even if you would have supporting sponsorship from a relative. if your sponsor is resident in Canada, a copy of their last payslip and a letter of support or sponsorship could suffice but don't forget to work on your home ties so the officer does not score you low in that category.. |
adelforreal:It wont affect your application as long as you declare the refusal in your application . It also depends on the severity of the reason for refusal. It wont be an issue if it is just for normal inadmissibility concerns like proof of funds, home ties etc and you are able to proof in your Canada application that your situation has changed and improved. All the best! |
shyenar999:My two cents would be to travel to Canada with the intention of pursuing things legally. The system is very rigid with documentations even down to the groceries stores. They demand to see your immigration documents either (work permit +, study permit etc) that allows you to work in Canada before granting you an offer. You would be putting yourself under unnecessary stress and suffering with the illegality mindset. That's my two cents but the decision is yours! |
samuel321:The chances of approval is very slim because of the visit visa status in Canada and would most likely score you low on home ties. How would you explain to the US visa officer you don't intend to overstay in the USA since there is no social/economic activity compelling you to return to Canada. More preferably to apply from your home country except you have other status like Students , Work Permit or PR which makes it easier to demonstrate you are currently studying and going for summer break or working and going for few days leave with the intention of coming back to your school or job. |
goobyparks:I think this explains why you are unable to link or access the account, This response was updated as at March 2023 so I think this is the most updated response from IRCC. You would need to escalate it as instructed on the screenshot. You can send a webform and let the subject clearly explain what the issue is. A faster way would be a trusted person in Canada calling IRCC on your behalf. Perhaps, they could find another way in sending your husbands correspondence. Also, try send an e-mail to Lagos, Abuja and Nairobi explaining the issue.

goobyparks:Can we look at this together today if it wont be too late for you. I can spare 1 hour. Let me know if this is fine with you. |
goobyparks:Try and lets see. Probably, it is not linking because the account is in its expired/revoked state. |
goobyparks:Have you attempted to restore your husband revoked GC Key using the forgetting username option. I did a quick check on google and it brought out this possible option. Try it if it works

josephb:Very well said!!! |
Kemexy:I am really sorry about this temporary delay on your visit visa application: a, Do you have sufficient balance to take of your duration of stay without including that of your brother and sister? If yes, I think you should use that approach in your next application.. I think the visa officer wants to be sure you are sufficiently established in your home country and since you are working, should have enough money to plan your trip without help from your siblings. b, Give a detailed explanation how you intend to finance your vacation period based on your planned period of stay in Canada. Re-attach your last payslip at the month of re-application and proof of employment I think the officer is not so convinced with your explanation on finances. Order your GCMS notes so you are sure of covering all the concerns of the officer. All the best! |
rebirthkennedy:Be careful what you wish for. Trust me you dont want that kind of arrangement of a company charging your salary of an outstanding debt especially when you are faced with numerous bills on monthly basis that you must pay or stand the risk of ruining your credit score. My advise would be take time to research this stuff yourself so you dont fall into the hands of so called agents that would rip you off your money and do nothing. |
Huqo:Your cousin invitation letter is okay but supporting documents should be more of yours. Since you are legally working in your current country of residence, present documents that shows strong ties back to your country of residence that would compel you to leave Canada back home. You dont need any physical interface with the Canadian embassy. You can present your last payslip ( this shows you are currently in employment and still working), work permit or document issued by the government legalizing your stay etc. Dont forget to declare previous refusals and dual intent is also allowed per IRCC guidelines. Overall, let your application show strong ties to your current country as long as you are still there legally and not out of status, you are good! |
BussyAb:I think the issue here was you have successfully uploaded the document to the IRCC portal but this was not transmitted to IRCC. I remember someone i was trying to assist had this same issue last year. When IRCC request additional documents from you, there is a button to click next after you have uploaded the documents and it shows replacement provided. You are still suppose to click next till it takes you to a page you type in your full name in capital letters (like you are signing) and it is submitted. Just the same process when you initially applied. The only difference this time is you wont be making any payment. You can action as angie88 has suggested. Since a decision has been made, write a one page letter of appeal for a reconsideration and explain the situation to them. attaching the documents. Keep sending by e-mail and webform till an agent responds. |
ifyobidiaso:The Below is the Canada VFS Address in London Address Visa Application Centre Visa Application Centre , 66 Wilson Street, London, EC2A 2BT, UK Phone Line: +442036033860 Required Documents to be sent to UK VFS (See Link Below): https://visa.vfsglobal.com/gbr/en/can/passport-submission |
tukurutaiwo:No one can give timeframe but you have an edge of getting approved if IRCC requested additional documents from you and you are able to respond to thier request on time. |
Chaerin:Yes, it is advisable you do that. You can submit a one page official letter via webform and probably refill that section and attach. It helps their application as it will get difficult to defend if they detect it and write your parents before you notify them. |
Deronke1:For your peace of mind book a round trip. That does not mean CBSA officer would request to see it at the port of entry but in case questioning gets to that level, it clears the air for you. The anxiety that comes with a secondary interview and inspection does not worth it. Safe trip and congrats. |
Saintee2009:For a visiting visa, Yes, to be on safe side. The risk of not booking a return ticket should in case there is any interrogation that makes the officer request for the ticket, it will become an issue and difficult to defend that she intends returning back. |
nimwin:I have experienced this before, it would regularise later. it is a system glitch. There is a section on the portal where you can report a technical issue. Use that option to report. You can also take a snapshot of the window and escalate using webform but nothing to panic, the portal will eventually reveal all the application information. |
chiomapx:That means a decision has been made and your visa has been issued but not yet printed so you should be expecting "Original Passport Request" soon. Immigration authorities have the power to withdraw an approval and refuse the application but such cases is very very rare. Congrats in advance. |
I am seeing lots of good news. Congrats to everyone and to those awaiting, yours is coming soon! |
gymlordd:Hello, A, Have your dad send an e-mail to IRCC Abuja or you can do that for him using his e-mail address and not yours except you declared in his application you would be representing him. Send to: ABUJA-IM-Enquiry@International.gc.ca and explain in details on the e-mail. Make it right first time. You don't need to send a reminder after that. (TAG THE MAIL "PRIORITY MAIL) Make sure his application number, UCI, Date of Birth, Passport Number and email are quoted clearly on the mail. B, Send a webform on his behalf to Lagos and Nairobi. But, let the narration look like he is the one sending it himself except as stated above you declared you would be representing him in the application. Once you have done these two options, exercise some patience till they get back. |
Mysha03:HI Mysha03 - Do you have any progress on this? Has IRCC responded back to your webform? |
Jenniferade:Your application is already in queue. You can apply for your GCMS notes to monitor what is going on. I dont think you should cancel it. Just be patient. |
Mrsam12:Everyone situations are unique and different. It is also depends on the officer. The question you would be asked would be based on your application. They would be expecting the same response as you declared in your approved application. |
obinwanne:Thank you. That was an oversight. |
Mysha03:Good! I assume you are in Canada. Try reach out to the customer care line. I think they work with mountain time zone. The issue is strange but lets see when you call them. |
Mysha03:Hope you have cancelled this one that you submitted today before IRCC starts processing it. Maybe you are not doing something correctly. Regarding the one you submitted in November, when you did notice that it was showing another person details after submission? Send IRCC a webform with detailed explanation of the issue and you can also call IRCC agent to explain the issue just in case they can rectify any anomaly before a decision is taken on the file. But, first be sure you are not the one making any mistake. |
obazi:Yes, they have started your security screening. You just need to be patient till your application is finalized. I would say the main hurdle for most applicants is eligibility. Once they start your eligibility and all is ok, you should have your PPR. Just stay positive. |
