Etr3y: In my opinion, the refund notice is legit. Just trying to confirmed, I discovered d name tally with d account number using ussd code...same name, same access bank! Pls do d needful for conscience sake Name tally is not enough. Account number tally is a better proof. I'm not saying the refund is not legit except if it was confirmed that the Account number to pay into(from the sms) was the one used to pay from the previous TP payments (rafiq is yet to confirm this). *For a scam* The "perceived" hardest part is phone number retrieving of those sent the refund SMS. To me, the above is wat a smart programmer (web scrapper to be precise) with the right API can pull effortlessly here on this platform. Using the information they provided. i.e. their moniker, their post of recieving payment more once and date(optional) Customized Bulk SMS: most of us here can do that. Bank acct opening: Business-minded scammers can do that. Can be open as a fresh customer (without BVN). With same name. (Some people already having issues with the name not tallying). I.e King Ayam =! King-Ayam King Ayam =! King Ayiam (as someone initially revealed) I'm not supporting that people should not refund where more than one payment was received, but we should be wary of refunding to the wrong hands. P.S: Didn't recieve double payment or refund sms |

ElZackzacky2019: May that lawyer succeed. He's fighting a right cause - justice and peace. Ageism is a crime against humanity. If a 75 year old man is not too old to become a Nigeria's president then a 30 year old and above should not be considered overaged for a job.
We grow at our own pace. Not everybody graduates at 24-25 years. Poverty, strike actions and other factors can be responsible for this. For the GT applicants that are against Lawyer Olajengbesi, don't be selfish. Someone above 30 years is still strong and young. They can also work. That energy they are preventing them to use profitably due to ageism may be diverted into crimes. And everyone will be a victim of ageism in the long run. U may have a point. However, if the roles were switched, would you have thrown the age limit open? Simply put, If you were a major decision maker in the recruitment process or you happen to be the final decision maker, would you have just decided that, "let the age be open" for GT? Putting into equation the mandate of the recruitment, the corporation's policy and process? Emotions atimes don't flow with good value judgement. |

NuissancePolice: First hand info: From my source who is close to the GMD, APL notifications were to be sent since the 11th of September but was deferred for a month due some new developments in administration, new evidence of slotting ghost-names, and the consequent legislative bottlenecks that followed. Apparently, the 9th of september and 4th of october guys heard rightly but sand had been poured into our garri.
He said that APL release is on hold for now based on the intensity of the legislative bottlenecks and the need to do a proper investigation. Some RMAFC goons are also in conflict with some members of the house who have very high interest in the recruitment but he could not tell me what the conflict was really about because they were just inferred speculations.
This problem is not only with NNPC, but has cascaded into other governmental recruitment processes like the Police, Customs and CBN (whose recruitment has been underground for a while).
My source concluded based on his perception of the current circumstances that the recruitment is unofficially on hold indefinately but will be officially made open to the public soon. We should forget about NNPC for now as it might either be cancelled or re-opened around maybe the first quarter of next year...say March/April depending on the outcome of the investigations.
Brace up guys. Not insinuating anything oo, but I'm curious about the bolded and their connection with the corporation's recruitment. |

MobilityExpress: Deputy governor whose escorts block the highway for over 20 minutes when he wants to pass, mtshewwwww! When Fashola was Governor, he didn't do such, when Ambode was governor didn't do that, even Tinubu as Governor didn't do that, they didn't make their escorts block the road and stop traffic flow because they wanted to pass. But here we are in 2019, a deputy governor escorts will be blocking the highway because he is coming from another lane to join that highway. The only time I've seen escorts stop flow of traffic in Lagos was for the movement of the president. Obasanjo escorts did it, GEJ escorts did it, other than that, I haven't witness any other president do it. But here we are, a deputy governor is doing it, not even governor o. I just hope Sanwo Olu should shine his eyes very well, because I don't trust this his deputy, a deputy that is stylishly dragging attention and recognition with the governor. A deputy that acts like a governor, almost like as if Lagos has 2 governors at the same time . Governor Sanwo Olu always looking sharp and dapper, happy and humble. I like him very much. Let me blow your mind. Dep Gov. (Dr) Femi Kadiri Hamzat is more than qualified to be Lagos State Governor. Don't really support the traffic obstruction thou. |

Mosgoon, i like the way you react, when your name is been mentioned (i dont think most are attacks or hatred). no insult, no counter-attack. no savage response. its rare. me thinks you are an attention seeker, (which is not bad) in, fact, its good for people in marketing, sales department (mosgoon, you will make a good marketing manager.. ). Law #6 of 48 Laws of Power further affirms my assertion - "" Court Attention at All cost(Either Positive or Negative). Just be relevant". Let people say something, comments about you and you smile to the bank People in the Entertainment Industry observes this law alot. Another one; #4 says "Always Say Less than Necessary"you see i am making reference to Robert Greene's works because its helps one to maneuver in whatever situation you may find yourself. (Moderation is key to the applications of the laws though). You may think both laws (4&6) of Greene's are (near)contradictory. however, it only lay credence to when to apply and how to go about it. For whatever reason @mosgoon for you to observe #6, its basically your opinion and you re free to do that. Nobody should shut you, but i dont think this is the best place. This tread is already tensed and people may not feel your McKinsey stuff. Rule #4 Should suffice more. Jarus, in which most of us respected (U and I inclusive) and may be refered to as mentors once post "i only post when i have a reliable info or when my name was mentioned" You say too much than Necessary. Those people saying "dont give a f**k", "u owe no one an apology", "they are envying you or jealous of you" will not help you. think about it, jot down their moniker, and check their post on this tread, only very few post more than you. most of them are achievers in their own standard but they never post that they are this or that that they paid 150k to assist fellow applicant. that they are first class and they are the best thing that could ever happen to where the work. They wont say that. Cause then observe some rules. My question to them is, if @mosgoon is their blood brother, would they have gave that advice ? would you tell him "ignore them To ba ko ju sie, taa, to ba ke yin si e, taa, Ti oba ku iwo ni kan, da ero ara pa. ( i know you understand that proverb) Moral: Only you can save yourself |
Properties › Re: Where Is The Craziest Place A House Agent Has Ever Taken You To? by olasunky15(m): 4:14pm On Aug 28, 2019 |
Agent matter don tire me for lag.
I have encountered lots of agent palaver, but this is the most Unforgettable.
Ok. I want a room sefcon around ojota. After paying the mofo reg fee. He called another agent that call another agent.
(Meanwhile I already told my agent what I wanted. I even told him, don't bother to call me if there's any deviation from what I wanted)
We were like four sha. Naso we reach this house(not a new house but not bad storey building) around 2pm. Then we started knocking the door of one apartment (I was like maybe they want to take the key to my own apartment). We knocked for more than a hour but nobody responded. Meanwhile, we all can sense that people are inside because they curtain was stretched to a side for ventilation and door shows it was locked from inside. After a while, the door was opened. We saw two elderly people, a man and a woman believe to be couple.
Then the next show (me expecting someone to lead us to the vacant apartment after the waits), my agent asked :
Nibo ni Yara ye wa with (where is the apartment ? with anger). The old man then told us to enter. Baba, we mean the house that is vacant, my agent asked again. The man said we should follow him.
Guys, this man showed us a room from their apartment of 2-bedroom flat. Hahahaha, at that point I was sweating profusely.
A tenant wanting to rent out a portion of the house to another person.
Wait, I ll be living and paying rent with this elderly people (that was the first thing that came to my mind)
I just kept quiet and calm. I refuse to listen to what is inside me, coz if I do, ...........
My agents, having shown him the kind of person I am in the past, almost beat up the other agent that took us to the house. He was visibly angry.
We chartered napep, to and fro, and alighting from the tricycle, I just stroll as if nothing happened, my agent was like, oga e wa San wo nw( I should come and pay the tfare), I was like, because I didn't cause a scene there, you still want me to pay. It's like you want to Ogun lakaye to visit you this night. I just walked on to join the next bus to my house.
Guys, if you re reading this and looking for a house in Lagos, Take your time.
Give it like one and half month to look for a house.
Budget like 6k for inspection
Engage like 4 agent(some will tell you to pay reg. fee. these agents most cases do not have a good apartment to rent, they are "anyhow" agent that will take you to anyhow apartment. Avoid them)
Do not rush (plead with the person you re squatting with to give you time.
Don't show desperation.
That the situation we found ourselves, huge housing deficit.
And lastly, Lagos is overpopulated. (The smallest state in landmass yet the highest in population density) |

I equally asked about the corporation's GRC and ERM drive. the response and body language of the chairman was quite at ease . i dont want to start a debate on whether or not, there is a score for asking your interviewer question(meaningful and role-related), but it actually tells the interviewer more about your capacity and how passionate and enthusiastic you are about the role you are been interviewed for vis-a-vis the organisations goals and objective. oga Jarus kindly shed some light on this subject. |

mosgoon: No. I have to look at my sample space in detail before I can give a deductive hypothesis. Like I have said previously, I personally feel there's no correlation but after mass payments occur I would have a more or less stronger stand on my feelings depending on the trend I observe.
For example, I have a couple of people I met on interview day and friends I know that did on the 5th. I have 3 people who wrote account details with me while leaving at Block D, I have people who due to close relationships and interview feedback I can sort of deduce performance and also people from the same states among my friends. Then we have here - nairaland. With the above said, If, hypothetically, I and some people I have identified among my sample space don't get TF and others got, I would definitely know there's something more to it, I would then match up the different variables to see the interest groups used in dividing candidates and on which side I fall.
All these are hypothetical but would make things clearer i saw what you did there if you cant convince them, confuse them. BTW, No offence but sometimes, some of us dont understand your choice of words, lexicon and sentence structures which negates the essence of communication - UNDERSTANDING. Baba, abeg come to our level so that some of us no go get brain tumor in trying to understand your posts. @mosgoon, sho fe pawa ni ? |
