Najdorf: Forwarded 20-01-2023 Window 10, Abuja Embassy 3rd Attempt Vo: Good morning Me: Good morning ma Vo: Have you ever traveled out or to the US before? Me: No Vo: When did you leave high school? Me: I left high school in December 2020, after which I took the SAT and an online AutoCAD course where I learnt how to create 2d and 3d design models. I currently intern as an automotive assembler at Innonson Vehicles Manufacturing Nigeria, Nigeria's first indigenous car manufacturing company that specializes in the production of cars with utmost consideration of Nigerian roads, to provide more efficient and suitable products at more affordable prices. My roles at Innonson are to assist the engineers to gather the equipment and devices that are used to assemble the parts and components of cars, generators and bikes. I also assist the engineers to carry out tests to ensure the assembled devices operate as they should. Vo: oh, everything checks out...(looking at her screen, guess she was reading my ds160) Vo: Tell me why you decided to go to Howard Me: I chose Howard because (Vo cuts in) Vo: Did you apply to other schools? Me: Yes, Drexel University in Pennsylvania and Hofstra University in New York. But I chose Howard (Vo cuts in again) Vo: I see your uncle was sponsoring before but now it's your mum. it's changed...then she started typing Me: Yes. it's a thing in the yoruba culture that anytime an aunty or uncle has been helped greatly by another family member, he/she sees it as his/her responsibility to reciprocate the energy. In my case, my parents were the ones who sponsored my uncle's university education, so he took it at his responsibility to sponsor me to study anywhere in the world. But my mum is more than capable to sponsor me. Vo: what does she do? Me: (About to talk) then she says nevermind. She was looking at something on her screen, I guess she was reading my ds160. I put in what my mum does in my previously denied section. Me: Can I go ahead to tell you why I chose Howard? Vo: Sure Me: I chose Howard because it's curriculum emphasizes on experiential learning, which would allow me to make use of its well equipped research centers and laboratories, most especially in the field of Nanotechnology and artificial intelligence. With this, I'll be able to transfer knowledge and make an impact when I return back to Nigeria to work at Innonson where I currently intern. Howard also resonates my love for African American culture and heritage, and is in fact one of the highest producers of African American graduates in the US who set out to do many great things in the field of STEM. I don't want to be an exception to this as I'll be returning to Nigeria to use my degree from Howard to contribute to the future prosperity of engineering here in Nigeria. Vo: oh, wonderful starts typing...she then said "I like your watch" Me: oh, thank you. I could also get you one. She started laughing then I smiled Next thing. your visa has been approved!
lmao, she think say I fit afford original hublot watch, don't kill me please. Confam Original fake😂 Congrats |

US wants to test your intellectual ability, sincerity of purpose, work ethics and financial ability. US also wants to keep an educated talent unlike UK that sends u packing once you’re done with ur studies Well said |

Do your research You only need to book EA with ds-160, later you pay sevis fee later after securing an appointment. Remember that sevis fee is $350, valid for 1 year and you can't even pay it in Nigeria. Pay it when your appointment date is close. |

Somatohadidas: After admission (and funding for those who need it), and you've decided where you want to go:
✅ Request for your i-20 from your school. Some give one or both of soft/hard copy, and you might pay shipping fee for hardcopy in some schools ($50 - $100). You'll usually supply details of passport page, ability to cover cost like funding letter or bank statement, etc. for this.
✅ Get the i-20. I'll suggest you request the e-copy even if the school wants to send hardcopy, so that you can use the details to book your visa interview while awaiting the hard copy. A4 printed of i-20 is acceptable at embassy. After i-20, the next 3 items can be in any order.
✅ Start filling your DS-160 form online at https://ceac.state.gov/genniv/ . You can use this video as a guide when filling it: https://www.facebook.com/287980197932222/videos/318718789713853
✅ Create a CGI profile at https://www.ustraveldocs.com/ng/ng-niv-appointmentschedule.asp and pay for your visa fee, costs #67,200 with GT Bank, and book your date at your desired location if an available one shows.
✅ Pay Sevis fee. You can create a coupon at fmjfee.com but someone in the US has to pay it for you. It costs $350, but there might be a $10 processing fee and people's dollar rates differ. So expect a wide range when converted. To be safe, the payment must be confirmed at least 72 hours prior to your interview.
✅ Prepare for your interview and ace it.✌
✅ Book your flight, typical ranges can cost from 250k - 400k for cheapest ones depending on location, or go for the more expensive and comfortable ones.
Good luck.

WhiteRuler: PLEASE I NEED REVIEWS AND CRITICISMS ON THE COMPOSED MAIL BELOW. IT IS MY FIRST ATTEMPT.
Subject line: Where is my car?
Hello (name),
You may be wondering what car this mail is referring to.
Well, the subject line was chosen so because many have asked the same question on circumstances they didn't understand.
Truth is, it can happen to anybody and he/she will be left with no option than to ask "where is my car?"
Now hear this...
I was at a hotel's food and beverage section to meet a client when I heard a man shouting all over the place as if he wanted to bring down the building.
What constantly came out of his mouth was:
"Where is my car?"
That continued to a point his voice caused people to gather in number in curiosity over what was going on.
I later found out the man's name to be "Rick".
He had parked his car at the hotel's car park and lodged in.
On checking out, he realized his car was no more there.
At first, it was like a dream but eventually reality dawned on him that his car had been stolen.
To make matters worst, at the hotel's car park, it's written "cars are parked at owners' risk".
This simply means neither the hotel nor its management was to be held liable for any car loss.
That suggested more worry for him.
If Mr. Rick had installed car tracker on his car and be in total control of his vehicle, thieves wouldn't have succeeded in taking away his car.
To continue,
Why was I in the hotel?
I went there on the invitation of a client who got my company's information from one of our ads after a friend of his lost a car to theft two weeks earlier.
That unfortunate incident awoke his consciousness and he realized he didn't want to experience what his friend had experienced or find himself in the shoes of Mr. Rick, where he would be shouting " where is my car?"
Therefore, there was need to install car tracker on his vehicle to stay away from the prowling hands of car thefts.
To further prove how disturbed he was, he narrated how another person's car also got stolen a week before his friend's.
That simply meant he was aware of at least 3 cases of car theft in the space of 3 weeks.
To avoid similar circumstance, he needed our services to install car tracker on his vehicle.
Did I install the tracker?
Yes I did!
Guess what?
The car tracker apart from ensuring the safety of his car, the device also allows him to be in total control of his car wherever he may be.
That however relieved him so much worries and tension as against his former state.
In our next mail, we'll provide more details about the car tracker, what you stand to benefit by installing it and so much more.
Now looking at how important car tracker is to every vehicle, won't you like to be like my client at the hotel who acted fast and installed a car tracker to ensure the safety of his car?

Henderson Brown ............ Hello... you did a great job being your first time to write an email copy. BUT to be frank with you, there's a lot more to be done! The tone of your copy sounds salesy. Well, I'd say write as if you're talking to a friend. And sell as if you're not selling. Pisa Pisa - Peace! |

MarketForces: Which school did you finish from? If it is UNIZIK, I can help you. If not, begin to establish contact with any of your lecturers that you can work with. You don't have to tell them of your intentions expressly, just build relationships. I started by following professors around. That alone makes some people to see you as a brilliant student. Your first clientele will now be those under his or her supervision. The lecturer in question doesn't have to know and you need to be smart about it.
From there, you begin to enter other lecturers and working for students under their supervision. Other school runs like helping students with clearance, etc can also fetch you money. Attend project defense and ensure to be visible - either by offering to take the minutes of the event or operating the PowerPoint presentation for them. All of these helps to build confidence in your clients that you are on ground.
These secrets are tested and trusted. Since 2015, I have never gone broke even though I am outside of formal employment until January this year. It takes some sacrifices on your part too. 1: you will run errands for lecturers 2: invigilate exams or even attend lectures with them 3: you will spend on them by buying them little things on their birthdays etc.
With time, they will even refer students to you. That's for those that are coded. I even did other runs with marking of scripts banking on my relationship with the lecturer involved. Note: YOU MUST BE SMART ABOUT IT. I have since stopped that script and exam runs though, but they were part of my early survival strategies. At some point in one's life, you must begin to set standards.
Now I don't do school errands anymore, I don't do exam runs and I don't do assignment and projects for undergraduates. You get brain boss |
