The question is why exactly did Western Igboland fight?
What was their grievances?
Answer that and tell me how it doesn't relate to what IPOB is fighting for.

BTW, there is not ethnicity known as Anioma. The term was coined in 1951 to reintegrate the Western Igbo trapped outside Eastern Region with their kith and kin by Dennis Osadebay and to automatically end what Western Igbo people saw as divide and rule over the larger Igboland.

For more information, contact Ngozi Okonjo Iweala, her father was among the crew that fought for it.
Onicha-Ado as the city of Onitsha is really called is actually of Anioma heritage, having its roots in Eze-Chima the progenitor of the Enuani people of Delta State. Lemme help ur ignorance so u don’t go outside and disgrace yasef again. The Ekumeku war started as a resistance when Nzekwu of Ogwashi-uku the son of the last Obi felt his birthright would be stolen from him by the British. It was the first time in the region different independent states would present a unified front against British rule, that is what made it unique to the Brits. They didn’t throw tantrums and kill their own people. They welcomed the foreigners when they came initially and only sought to throw them out when it became apparent that they wanted to meddle in their politics. We know of Idabor of Issele-Azagba (eventhough google will say Issele-Ukwu), we’ve heard of Ochei nwa Aghaeze of Onicha-Olona and Elumelu Okachi of Onicha-Olona, which wan be Okonjo-Iweala papa fighting in a guerilla war against the Brits in 1898, how do some of u reason sef??

So after faking their own UGM, the real ones still resumed their operation and took down a Nigerian force man.

Hmmmm, Nigeria must be really confused as to what kind of humans these people are. If they know the history of the people of that region, they would have known that all those political assassinations, Civilian terrorism etc won't stop the resolution of those real UGM.

They should study Ekumeku.
The Ekumeku war and the Anioma heroes who bled for freedom have nothing in common with the IPOB or their fight.

The 'prophecies' of a man that didn’t foresee the Covid19 global lockdown are certainly not from a God that permitted it to happen. I don’t care which party he finally contests from or the outcome, but I owe my conscience and Peter Obi at least one vote on the Election Day. cool
Crime › Re: Armed Female Bystander Kills Man Firing At Party In West Virginia by olisaEze(m):
Guns don’t kill people, people kill people. If all the guns in the world were collected and melted down today, people will still kill people tomorrow. Legislation that recommends that people should just lay down and let themselves be raped to death or gruesomely murdered in the hopes that their killer will be sent later to join them in the afterlife are actually pro-evil & anti-life. Self preservation by any means is not just a fundamental human right but a basic instinct of all life.

The NPF never fails to disappoint whenever it concerns a suspect of northern extraction. Who has ever been sentenced to death from the north for committing religious extrajudicial murder in Nigeria since 1952?? Till youths in the south of Nigeria engage in another protest and the country burns down before these clowns that call themselves leaders understand that a country built on injustice will one day fail. This is not a guess but a given! BTW, I can never support/vote for Atiku ever again. There is no such thing as a moderate Muslim, they’re all the same bloodthirsty savages!

"No publicity is bad publicity."

Can’t remember now if it’s Steven Spielberg’s quote but that’s the policy of female actresses when going to award shows.

So enough with the bad mouthing jaré.

And I also guess it’s her own way of honoring the president whose love for all cattle life is legendary like legendary beats!! grin
Politics › Re: Soldier Calls On Colleagues To Quit Army Over Protection Of Terrorists (Video) by olisaEze(m):
How can people in Nigeria expect terrorism to end when soldiers only talk of retaliation, not prevention. Losing a loved one puts a certain amount of perspective on how precious all life is, especially that of the terrorist. The lives of religious terrorists are so precious because of their piety, that it has to be a cardinal sin not to send them back to their maker immediately they’re found! That way the sins of others won’t piss them off so much and they can finally concentrate on their devotions for all time!! grin
This is using a sledge hammer to kill an ant.
What is bad is bad.
Let's condemn this act so it will stop ONCE AND FOR ALL.
The Holy Quaran never supported the killing of others.

The True and Real Muslims (the ones we know and have as friends, neighbors, clients, Should always preach this message to the fanatics, the animals in human skin among them, they make people say rubbishabout their religion.
Do not be like the Muslim on the image below

Quran tells us to ignore Blasphemy because in Islamic law, there is no punishment for blasphemy.

“And when you see those who engage in making fun of Our revelations (Blasphemy), stay away from them till they turn to another topic.
And if Satan causes you to forget, then after the remembrance sit not you in the company of those people who are the Zâlimûn (polytheists and wrong-doers).

Quran (6:68)

From the above verse, the stance of present-day Muslims goes totally against the teachings of the Quran. Whenever anyone in their judgment commits an act of ‘abuse of the Prophet in speech or in writing, they instantly demand that all those who insult the Prophet be beheaded.

This verse of the Quran makes it plain that it is not the task of the Muslims to establish “media watch” offices and hunt for anyone involved in acts of defamation of the Prophet, and then plan for their killing as in the case of what happened in Sokoto.
Unless you are a Mallam from northern Nigeria, you’re just preaching to the choir! There’s no such thing as a moderate Muslim. These guys have all been conditioned to react with violence, whether covert or overt, when they perceive a slight against the founder of their religion.

Politics › Re: Sokoto And The Need For A Christian President. by olisaEze(m): 12:25am On May 13, 2022
Blablamalala:
I guess you are very ignorant of how Abubakar Tafawa Balewa was taunted for his faith in Islam by Coup plotters who were Christias and majorly from the South East. Pastor Bakari made a very recent remark on this. On how he was forced to drink alcohol, on how his turban was burnt and E.t.c. You think all this religious killings is inclined to fanatics among Muslims alone? I had to give you a very good example which is very open to all, without any bias.

The hatred for Northernans and the Islamic faith by some Christian Fanatics is very evident even in Gideon Orka's coup. Both of this coups are very religiously inclined. And of course, Muslims do suffer for their choice of faith in the South Eastern Nigeria among Igbo Muslims. Some are killed for converting to Islam, some are chased out of their homes.

Below infact is an example of what as well happens around the world, not in Nigeria alone .
Your argument is hinged on a lot of hear say. Details on the manner of Tafawa Balewa’s murder is not known so how can Tunde Bakare, a kid at the time, be your source? As for people in the East being persecuted for converting to Islam, these instances are only coming up now because terrorism by Muslims is a major concern world over. I’m sure you’d be hard pressed to cite any instance of religious persecution from Christian to Muslim at a time when MKO Abiola won a landslide on a Muslim/Muslim ticket in ‘92. Neither Maj. Nzeogwu or Gideon Orkar’s coup had anything to do with religion, I don’t know where people in the north get these ideas from. But don’t take my word for it, research for yourself the state of the country at each time, the transcripts of their broadcasts and the reasons given.

Special Assistants and Special Advisers are a dime a dozen in Delta State. The young man probably overreached and had his ego deflated. Now I’m not in support of the uncouth customs officer, but rash & unthinking gun wielding government officials are now the headache all Nigerians experience on the roads because the head of government in Nigeria has no respect for the law himself! Pls do yourself a favor and never lose your cool no matter how hard they try to infuriate you.
