With this law in place, I believe many governors will do their jobs and deliver on time. If the governor is not corrupt, there is no way his commissioners will be corrupt. This will also have a positive effect on the permanent secretaries, directors,HODs etc. Likewise, there is no way the President will be corrupt-free and his ministers will not.If there's a high level of corruption among ministers and nothing happened in terms of punishment, just checkout the president. AN ADAGE SAYS, A FISH START TO ROT FROM THE HEAD. |
With the high level of corruption in our country, I fully support death by hanging for any corrupt officer that embezzle public fund i.e money meant for security, power, water, road, health, food, employment, transport, education, defence, sport and so on. Such man or woman deserve no mercy coz by their action, many children will die of hunger, many pregnant women will die with their unborn babies, many patients will die coz of lack of drugs and medical facilities, many businesses will die coz of power malfunctions, many people will die & lost their properties to armed robbers due to lack of security equipments for police, education will become a joke as seen today, high rate of umemployment etc. Worst of all, coz of corruption,a lot of unemployed youths will be motivated to go into politics not to serve the people but their pockets. In summary, there's an urgent need to make politics unattractive to opportunists who only go into politics to enrich themselves & their families. What better way to check them than to introduce the DEATH PENALTY LAW FOR CORRUPTION. |
Do you think our corrupt officers/politicians will change if we introduce death penalty law into our constitution concerning corruption? Secondly, what are the advantages/disadvantages of this law? Thirdly, how do we as citizens force the lawmakers/executives/judiciary to include this law in our constitution? Lastly,do we have to set a 'CORRUPTION TARGET' e.g any loot above N2million will attract a death sentence.Below this will attract a jail sentence etc.? I believe our greatest THREAT to democracy is INDISCIPLINE & CORRUPTION. Let's come together and say YES to WAR AGAINST INDISCIPLINE & CORRUPTION (WAI-C) Say 'YES' or 'NO' and give your reasons. Billyonaire: Amen, or I will be crowned with juicy position in the Presidency for my truth and uprightness, say Amen for me brother. My friend, you better go and look for a better job |
Billyonaire: The beauty of democracy is that each organ of government must checkmate each other in other to deliver the dividends of democracy to the populace that voted them into parliament. But, it has been noted that previous administration of OBJ and Yaradua always had to yield to the tantrums of the NASS and Senate by delivering "Ghana-must-go" bags to them alongside juicy contracts to make them harmonious with the executives. Budgets in OBJ and Yaradua Administrations were barely implemented and the parliament issue no ripples of threats. The GEJ Administration was not ready, and is not ready to jeopardize the mandate given to the Administration, so is it surprising to see the bribe collecting NASS and the Senate going gaga ? When wind blow, fowl nyash go open. Meanwhile, I welcome constructive checkmates from both organs of Government, it is for the good of the citizenry, however, I have lost faith in the judiciary, cos they keep setting free every corrupt official arrested and sent to them. Shame to you judiciary. ![]()

camary: where re d haters of GEJ. I tink he shud b held responsible 4d flag swapPres. GEJ should quickly set up a committee concerning this embarrassment to our 'kontiri'. And the committee should report back to the house committee on sport within 3mths and the house committee should report the matter to the London olympic committee and if they refuse to sack all the culprits, Pres. GEJ should ban all our athletes from participating in future olympics and sports generally. They call us a 3rd world 'kontiri' and yet,we hosted the world cup U-21 successfully(only that nepa 'carry light go' in one of the stadia for about 30mins and play resume immediately as nepa 'carry light come back'). I strongly believe these English people are after Pres.GEJ. And the CIC must act very fast. |

A lot of people have talked about the 40 computer-man squad on NL so, I started taking notes of them one by one. Their compiled list is as follows:WATCH OUT FOR PART 2 ![]() |
