Joeadamu86: At last the presidential media chat is over, with so many expectations, pessimism and close hearted, many glued themselves to their TV set anxiously waiting to hear how GEJ will break so many hearts by announcing the removal of subsidy and other related issues. Surprisingly, the gentle and calm President in his usual humorous posture stole the show and tackled every question in a Presidential manner. Sincerely, it got me thinking that most of the problems or rather challenges facing the country was inherited from previous administration, and a lot has been done by present administration to solve such challenges and ameliorate the effects on the public. Apparently, the President cleared the air on a lot of varying issues ranging from subsidy removal, insecurity, corruption, and creating an enabling environment for investors. Having said that, I believe it is imperative that we as Nigerians ignore those who try to paint the country and the President in bad light for their selfish and political gain, and still be patient and supportive to the President bearing in mind that Nation building is a process, and Mr President is in the process. My perception has changed for now cos i see hope, how abt believing the GEJ again.** ** ** ** # O # - $ £ # € £ & $ £ # $ £ L £ $ $ |
Well done Governor Ajimobi, more power to your elbow. ![]() |
acidtalk: Not YET? That's scary. So once the house of assembly give rights to ga*ys you will openly declare. ![]() |
Billyonaire: Ahahahahaha hhihihihhi One man's trash is another man's treasure. Beaf, if you ever quote me again, I.....Just joking ![]() |
acidtalk: Almost ALL my Ex (except the married ones) still come to me for assistance and I still do it without hesitation. ![]() My brother, you funny die with the bolded part. But how did you know your new well-packaged toy is not from a charity store. |
kulutempa: @Gbawe, I think you deserve the Nobel Prize for trying to make sense to the senseless. A lot of Nigerians want their country to develop without the change and reform this would require. Just a few months ago the President was in London trying to woo "international investors" and now he cancels a contract one of them has already signed, not because of any wrong doing by the investor, but because of an internal and disgraceful failure by the government to apply its own laws. Even the best comedian in the world can't come up with such a story line ![]() GBAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAM |
'Due Process' in Nigeria simply means, 'My Bribe', 'My Settlement', 'My Share', 'My Cut', 'My Percentage', 'My Portion', 'My Cake', 'My Ration' 'My Allawi {Allowance}' 'My Loot' 'My Egunje' 'My Money' 'My Kudi' 'My Ego' 'My Owo' 'My Gift' 'My Allotment' 'My Interest' 'My Arrangee {Arrangement} 'My Blocks' 'My Discount' 'My Title' 'My A4B-Anything4The Boys' I won't be surprised if Asari Dokubo pass the 'due process' & wins the power contract. No be Naija we dey talk! |
ochallo: you are totally clueless, if you live in lagos, you would know that there is an increase in crime rates since the ban , and when the masses are unemployed, illegal/ fradulent businesses thrive, that is the meaning of " getting a gun".The last time I checked, Okada has not been banned in states like Edo, nearby Ogun, Oyo,Ekiti, Anambra, Enugu, Abia,Ebonyi,Imo, etc. If anyone becomes an armed robber because Lagos state govt restricted the operation of Okada business in some dangerous areas (like express ways, bridges etc) for health and safety of its people, I wish the person all the best of 'ALUU-like treatment if he or she get caught. OPC, NPF, MOPOL etc are also waiting... |
afam4eva: This is a case of putting the cart before the horse. Shouldn't he have done this before banning okadas? Sorry Fashola but some bike men have already bought the guns that they will use to start their new business.** ** ** ** What about the Okada riders that are in hospitals with both their legs & arms amputated? Wont you advice them to get a gun as well? According to your thinking, all sacked bankers, civil servants, engineers etc & unemployed graduates should get a gun coz they were sacked or unemployed. Is that what you will do if you lose your job i.e get a gun? Anyway, the NPF are waiting for all of you. |
What Gov. Fashola has done is to separate the horse from the cart in order to save the horse. If not for Fashola's decision, btw August & now, thousands of children would have become orphans, some would have lost their husbands,wives,bread-winners etc. These decision is about Life & Death not business as usual. |
What a SHAME. So, the only means by which this govt can protect & secure its citizens against attacks from militants & terrorists is by negotiating with them. If this govt can negotiate with terrorists that have murdered thousands of Nigerians then, nothing stops them from negotiating with ordinary armed robbers, kidnappers etc. By the way, apart from rejecting Saudi, will the govt go on to compensate these animals with public fund for the 2nd time, thereby re-enforcing them financially in order to equip themselves with more arms & ammunitions? Would anyone be surprised if this clueless govt foolishly release members of these Rams as demanded? Build which mosques? The one they 'BOMBED'. SMH |
Well done my Governor. But this is long overdue. Only a useless and, a good-for-nothing government will care less about the influx of aliens coming in & out of its state daily. There's need to have records of the number of people living in the state (indigene or non-indigene). I expect other intelligent governors to copy this idea. When was the last time we had a proper census as a country? No wonder 'Boko Ha-rams' from Mali,Niger,Mauritania,Chad etc are having a field day in our country. SMH |
Britain is part of the EU yet still able to assert her independence by having control over policies that suit her peculiarities . That, loosely, is a way to view what the SW wants i.e some measure of control and freedom to initiate, at will and as soon as possible, policies and action plans that can deliver accelerated development.- Gbawe C'est fini {'That is it'} |
This is exactly what the WORLD Bank, IMF, Paris club, London club and other foreign lenders want us to do. The only means by which they can CONTROL us is for us to be INDEBTED to them & who else can do a better job than Madam Ngozi Okonjo Iweala. Even Beaf {Billyonaire} knows better. I pity my country. |
Eze Promoe: Hmmm, these policemen LWKMD My man, you funny die..Nothing go do your only brother...No shaking , |
Steve Oronsaye: 'The President has said "Come to submit a report today", so what?!' This guy needs to be fired immediately for disrespecting the seat of the president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. |
All that a serious major ethnic group in Nigeria need to do, to form/have their own country {without going to war} is for all their leaders to come together as one and to speak in one voice. First, there's need to form a committee that includes all professionals/experts and their 1st major assignment will be to tour their region and to conduct a 'proper' census to ascertain the total number of their people both home & abroad, language, culture, resources {both human & natural}, land, water, history etc. All these will enable them to know who is in support & want's to be part of their new country or otherwise. Then, the map of the new country should be given to boundary experts for thorough scrutiny. Finally, the committee will give their final report to their leaders who shall in turn conduct a referendum as to whether they should proceed in forming their own country or not. If over 75% of their people are for the formation of a new country, like in the case of Southern Sudan, then shall the leaders send a delegation to the UN for ratification. Nothing like having the support of ALL nations of the world instead of a selective few like US, Isreal & France who have no obligations to help you if things backfires. With this plan, the rest as they say is, HISTORY. |
Billyonaire: Mr Ajimobi needs to step down pending the results of Independent Investigations. If Mr Ajimobi makes any visit to the UK, he needs to be arrested and investigated.** ** ** ** Yeah, I agree with you. Just like GEJ stepped down when his wife was {allegedly} caught by EFCC for money laundering in millions of $$$s. |
The senate committee on education lead by the highly respected Chief Uche Chukwumerejie have spoken. He who has ear let him hear what the committee have said with OPEN MINDS irrespective of tribe, religion, ethnic or party affiliations. Google is your friend. |
If the law permits Fashola to run for '10th term' as Lagos State governor, he will still win effortlessly with or without Okada men. Afterall, Lagos is not made-up of Okada men alone. Moreover, the Okada restrictions in some areas are meant for their health and safety and that of their passengers. |
Rooneyboy: Before nko ?** ** ** ** ** ** Now I understand why GEJ wants to build airports for all the governors in all the 36 states of the Federation. I believe most of our executhief governors can afford to buy jets but the MAJOR stumbling block is that of standard airports which GEJ has promised them probably for them to support his 2nd term bid. With their BOMBARDIER JETS IN THE SKY, there will be: No bad roads No hold ups No security threats Enjoyment unlimited Easy movement of funds Easy escape from troubles Party in the Sky Etc etc |

alaoeri: Only suing the money bags where was he during Aluu murder & Mubi massacre sagas? bleeping c unt, human right activist indeed. Please kindly tell us who you want Falana to sue in aluu and Mubi? The killers that have been arrested by the police in Aluu or the faceless terrorists in Mubi? My friend, you don't have to answer the questions if you are less than 10 years old. Thank you. |

If only the F.G & other governors can tap into this guy's ideas (as far as agriculture is concern), Nigeria would have being a better place to live. Why can't we use some of the excess billions of dollars we make on crude oil to start this type of project in every state.I think I prefer this to building of airports in every states. There are thousands of Black/White South African & Zimbabwe livestock farmers waiting to jump at this opportunity. And the job opportunity is very massive.Well done Gov Aregbesola. Now I know why 'Beaf' disappeared. He's scared of being turned into O'Beef by Aregbesola. |
Congrats... ![]() |
Are those two mobile police (MOPOL) collecting their share too or what? Chineke! |
We need to introduce CAPITAL PUNISHMENT for our corrupt politicians\ leaders. We need to start by first removing their 'IMMUNITY'. The reason is that, these set of greedy people with their corrupt PEN, has killed more Nigerians than any other criminal group even more than Boko Haram. They kill thousands of Nigerians everyday by their NEGLIGENT actions. Some of the weapons they use to kill are: 1. bad road network 2. no medical facilties in hospitals 3. no power/ electricity 4. high cost of fuel 5. bad policing 6. unemployment 7. insecurity 8. wastefulness 9. insincerety about policies 10.selfishness & self-centred 11. no food production 12. injustice 13. their foolishness 14. their ignorance 15. their cluelessness 16. indiscipline 17.hypocritics 18.lack of foresight 19.tribalism 20.religion |
Iolo: Why don't they tell China, Malaysia, Thailand, and even the United States.************** Seriously, sometimes Amnesty International can be very funny. But, I don't blame them, I blame our leaders. A leader that thinks the best way to curb Boko Haram terrorists, who have killed thousands of Nigerians and destroyed billions of naira worth of properties, is by compensating the family of their leader (whom they accidentally killed) by giving his family N100Million. Meanwhile, the govt don't even know the family of those that were slained not to talk of compensation. Our govt encourage LAWLESSNESS'. For instance, the govt think the best way to stop kidnapping, oil bunkering, armed robbery, oil theft, assassinations, illiteracy, water-land-air pollutions etc in the Niger Delta area is by giving billions of naira and contracts to any group that comes out and shout 'We are ND militants'. What about the ND young women, old women, old men, disables & children who can't take up arms? According to this report, we now know A.I is part of the reason why there has been a high rise in crime in Nigeria because they are preventing our law to take is course e.g by appealing against the verdicts of our judges whenever they sentenced hardened criminals, murderers, assassinators to death. No wonder the likes of Sgt Rogers, Al-Mustapha, killers of Bola Ige & suspected BH sponsors are living like kings in prisons or even walking around freely. You can bet that, those arrested for the ALUU killings will be freed as soon as all these noises are over. Let's get serious about Capital Punishment in order not to experience the ALUU killings again. Where there is no LAW, there is no PUNISHMENT. |
Beaf, if you ever quote me again, I.....Just joking
