EVILFOREST: When will they give ULTIMATUM to complete the one in Port Harcourt, Enugu, Akwa Ibom....??
Are those ones BIRD NEST Ultimatum is unnecessary if fines were written into the contract in the first place. Just put a clause in the contract that says the contractor is fined N2 million for each day the contract is delayed and see what happens. |
Politics › Re: Senate Gives Contractor 2 Weeks Ultimatum To Complete Kano Airport New Terminal by olmoRoc: 1:34am On Nov 12, 2018 |
These fines should have been written into the contract. Normally, ONLY delays caused by natural disasters are entertained, and the contractor is fined for delays on daily basis. |

OkaNaUbe: Let them defect. Na their way. All the members of a particular political party should share/have the same political vision/ideology, and when there are aggrieved members, the leave to form a new party, at least that's how things work in a civilized society. This criss-crossing b/w PDP and APC simply shows the present crop of politicians have no morals; they're only interested in lining their pockets. |

Politics › Re: We Want Atiku Probed For Going To Dubai – APC by olmoRoc: 9:02pm On Nov 05, 2018 |
celeiyke: Yekini Nabena opined that there is a real motive behind the meeting in Dubai, noting that Nigeria has enough meeting and conference room for any kind of meeting. “There is more to the meeting that meets the eye. Nigeria has enough meeting/conference rooms, many of which meet international standards. It is therefore clear that the Dubai meeting was for other sinister political purposes ahead of the 2019 general elections.
“Our intelligence, anti-graft and security agencies must be awake to its responsibility of investigating the Dubai meeting. Cash-and-carry politicians must be prevented from moving illicit cash around to induce voters and sponsor election violence and rigging. “Another round of election is here and it is not unlikely that they are playing a repeat performance, under the guise of holding a meeting in Dubai. Our security agencies should be on the watch for a stitch in time saves nine.”
Read more at: https://www.vanguardngr.com/2018/11/we-want-atiku-probed-for-going-to-dubai-apc/ I'm very sure that Nigeria has enough hospitals in the country, and that there was no need for the president to have spent the amount of time and money he did in the UK. Also, Nigeria has enough parking space (hangers) for the presidential jet which was stationed in the UK while the president was there. |

sonnie10: For those working abroad and earning some money, it's time to start paying taxes to Nigeria. Don't even think that because you pay taxes abroad, you don't have to pay another one. The money I spend fueling my generator whenever I visit is worth more than the tax I should pay to the Nigerian State. Nigeria has given me nothing, so it deserves nothing from me. For the whole of last year, the tax on my earnings was less than a dollar equivalent after all the deductibles - spouse, 1 child, and aged parents. For the previous year, it was about $105 equivalent. The difference was due to the implementation of a new tax regime. I actually see the various projects being executed as a result of the income tax paid by workers. Also, the road tax paid yearly for the registration of vehicles is put to good use. Existing roads are repaired throughout the year, while new ones are built in order to ease road congestions. |

The main reason for the DNA test is to stop visa fraud - stop people from taking the kids of their relatives with them as they relocate by claiming they're their biological kids.
Those 4 children could be her relatives' children. If there are any Liberians or Sierra Leoneons here, they could help to shed light on the issue. |

donbrowser: Good. Nin + Bvn That's the way to go. Nin should also be a requirement for writing common entrance exams. That's one of the best ways to have a good database. No one should be able to set up a bank account without a Nin too. What benefits can we derive from these? 1. No certificate manouver issue 2. No age fraud in public office 3. Easy way to track criminals 4. Ease of allocation or grants prediction. E.g. Database will return total number of people under 30 years with just a click. 5. Aside from Northerners belief, might eradicate the need for census.
My opinion May I add that it could also check help to electoral fraud? |

They should rot in jail for adding to the miseries of law-abiding and hardworking Nigerians in Thailand over peanuts. Nigerians are not the only people doing fraud, but they're the only ones getting arrested weekly for fraud.
Those girls will be released, and they'll look for other Nigerians to continue their operations. Guys, forget about Sukhumvit and Pratunam girls. The name of their game is a soldier goes, another soldier comes around. |
