That's supposed to be a university! Universities are supposed to be leading the country in research. However, if the OAU isn't very verse in the sciences, it could collaborate with other capable institutions.

Please whoever is running the affairs of OAU and other universities in the country, look into investing in solar energy.

The students could actually carry out their research in related studies. Yes, science students could be guilded, or even coerced into carrying out the research.

Changing Nigeria's name is like changing Boko haram to ISWAP or PDP to APC. Without restructuring or outright disintegration, nothing can get it right again in this country. It's too late already!

This is what's going to happen if the country disintegrate:

Oduduwa is going to be the playground of Tinubu and his acolytes.

Biafra is going to be another South Sudan because of okorocha and co.

Arewa is going to be another Afghanistan because of the various Islamic radicals.

Lower Niger is going to be the playground of igbinedion, ibori, amaechi and co. The nation might never see any meaningful development.

The only solution is the one profferred by Jerry Rawlings.

Salaries are very much okay.

What should be trimmed to reflect economic realities are the unrealistic armed robbers allowances.

Imagine monthly newspapers allowances running into millions.

Pls who still reads printed newspapers in this electronic age.

If they must read printed newspapers, it shouldn't be with outrageous monthly allowances.

Same should apply to other useless allowances.

They state shouldn't be paying for their newspapers. If they choose to read newspapers, they should be able to afford it. After all, newspapers are already being delivered to the NASS. The same applies for all other items on their remuneration list. Their clothes, furniture, aides, etc should be paid for from their own pockets.

Do or die politics would be a thing of the past if we have fewer than 100 part-time lawmakers paid per sitting, and no more than 200,000 monthly.

Next, I'll convene a sovereign national conference, and revisit Abacha's plan for the country - appoint a prime minister for each region, and send those thieves called governors packing.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) wishes to remind Nigerians that the seeds of the insecurity which the APC administration is containing was sown by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) administration when it handled the Boko Haram insurgency in an inept and incompetent manner.

This is response to the false claims by the Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, who lied that the Federal Government has lost control of the security situation.

The remarks by the Rivers state governor, whose party members call a dictator, flies against the continuous efforts of our security forces who are toiling day and night and successfully rolled back the Boko Haram insurgency it inherited to a small part on the shores of Lake Chad.

Nigerians can recall that the insurgents once attacked places of worship, markets and gathering of citizens in many states of the Federation before the APC administation led by President Muhammadu Buhari galvanised and equipped the armed forces to degrade their capacity to strike all over the country.

It is ironic that the dictator at the Rivers State government house has forgotten so soon that kidnapping for ransom, like the Boko Haram insurgency, did not start under this administration, but every effort is being made to stop it along with its twin evil of banditry.
The APC administration has consistently worked for the best interest of Nigeria and will not be distracted by the antics of the PDP designed to mislead Nigerians into assuming that the PDP they rejected in free and fair elections in 2015 and 2019 is worthy of their trust.

A leopard cannot change its spots. The PDP is clearly in disarray. It was a failure in governance and a shocking failure as an opposition party. Nigerians cannot risk the country's future in the hands of the same political party that brought the rot the APC administration is clearing.

According to the group, the name 'Nigeria' has no root in the country since it was given by a white lady, who coined the term.

Offshore Worker Returns To Find Cucumber In Girlfriend’s Cupboard, Landlady Post Video On Social Media

A Nigerian offshore worker returned to find a huge cucumber hidden in his girlfriend’s cupboard after spending two weeks at work.

The landlady of the apartment that the lovers live in made good her threat by sharing the video of the incident on social media.

According to the distraught boyfriend, he came back from work to discover the huge cucumber wrapped inside a cond*m.

He told the landlady that he had caught the lady with a vibrator before but she denied doing anything with it.

He wondered if that was how she wants to be satisfying herself while always complaining that he does not.

She kept insisting that she doesn’t use the cucumber for anything despite the glaring evidence of cond*m on it.

Watch the video on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/tv/CPnNIBwHmdq/?utm_medium=copy_link

Would it have been better for her to be sleeping around? If that's as far as she would go, then he should leave her alone.

Even that landlady would love a vibrator the first time she tries it.

Call the cops or shoot him myself.

If you're hungry and you can't afford to pay for some food, politely ask the staff or the owner for some free food instead of sitting, ordering, eating, then telling them to go to hell.

You could also ask to work for something to eat if they refused to give you some free food.

Health / Re: Man Dies After He Was Bitten By A Snake 'Sent' By An Unknown Person (Photos) by olmoRoc: 4:57pm On Jun 02, 2021
Snakes will always seek refuge in houses no matter what. A snake can live inside a house undetected for a long period of time, and will only attack the occupant(s) when it feels threatened.

True story: I lived in a house overseas where I always felt funny every morning for months until a friend who was visiting while I was away discovered snakes in the house. My partner, whom I asked him to meet at my place until my return in a couple of hours, instructed him not to inform me because she knew I'd ask us to move out immediately. However, to her, having snakes living in your house was a good omen.

This was the 1st and I'd already paid my rent for the new month. But I never stepped foot in that house again after my friend ( thanks David O. wherever you are) phoned to communicate his discovery.

Before David discovered the snakes, I thought I was undergoing witchcraft attacks. So, it's not always what we think.

Similarly, when the first of two big grey snakes was killed inside our new house, we also thought we were under attacks until the neighbors informed my mom that the whole neighborhood was suffering the same fate, and that we should get the compound sprayed periodically. The advice wasn't heeded until after the second incident.
