greetings ma'am...
really n sincerely, no offence meant and my post was not in anyway a personal attack et al.
i was only trying to bring to notice a trending issue/situation that's all.

plus i am not against HELPING whereever required, n trust me where i can i go all out to assist.
i am just saying there is a diff between HELPING and SERVING
.
furthermore, just trying to advice the newbies (mostly) to endeavour to put in a lil effort to all these our prospecting.
trust me that's the way err-one will rank up to being gurus / veterans and be of HELP to others in the future to come.

peace ma'am Lolly-B... and congrats again on your visa wink cheesy

What I'm seeing is, you are asking for a way to make full payment upfront against first visit/appointment, upfront against visa approvals. ...
Hmmmm that's coming off as pretty desperate don't you think? !...

Or is there further advice yo need?

stevoche:
Goodday People,

I have learned so much from all the posts. Took me a while to read through but i am glad to be here. My wife is due in January and we have decided to use the West Houston Hospital. But my challenge is paying the doctor and Hospital for their services from Nigeria. I dont want her travelling with so much cash. Please what bank card can allow charges of at least $5k. Please the experienced people in the house should help me out. Our appointment date is for October 13th and she is billed to travel a month after. Kindly advice.
TravelRe: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedures Part 2 by olokings(m): 8:03pm On Sep 04, 2015
Really the heading doesn't make so much for a biggie. ..
As long as there's an intent. ..whether you are changing, updating, notifying or even noticing. ...bottom line is an intent is been made aware.

So far as the body state your name, your paper deets, or via class, your (prospective) state n hospital of visit, estimated date of travel et al then I'd say you are good to go.

The target is the generic reply and fact that you made your intentions known to them na abi.

Buh come to think of it ooh firsty, I no expect this kain q by this time weh u are already one leg (of not two remaining the articulated section -lol) in naim u dey ask ds one. .

Still on doting the I's n crossing d T's I guess. ..hehe

firsttymum:
Olokings
If u have travelled with ur visa before and u wanna make a birth trip...
What will d title of d letter to the embassy be? Cos it's not a change of intent..
More like update of intent, or notification of intent

Abeg I need ideas ... English no b my dialect
TravelRe: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedures Part 2 by olokings(m): 2:58pm On Sep 04, 2015
nope.. that shouldnt be an issue..

houston - dallas is a drivable distance ergo u can easily port over when its time for ur deliver...

dallas is a nice vacation spot.. so its logical for you to wanna POE there before heading to houston for childbirth..

my logical perspective though.

Cuteaidomo:
@ olokings and dyout thanks a lot. Olokings I have mailed them, waiting for a response. As plan b,am thinking of using a dr in Houston for correspondence sake. Will there be a problem @Poe if I use a Houston doctor? Considering the fact that I will be landing at Dallas? Kindly let me know pls. Thanks.
TravelRe: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedures Part 2 by olokings(m): 1:18pm On Sep 04, 2015
greetings...

for doctors in dallas, trully if you want them to reply your email correspondence, i'd say when sending them those mails, u gotta be formal, astute, and eloquent in your communication. further more, follow up with a call and hint them that you sent an email earlier and would like a reply to establish communication effectively.

in addition to the above, please if you can use a corporate email that will be gud.. else if going via the way of yahoo, gmail et al please shy away from using email originators such as "luvlygurl4richi@yahoo.com" (no office to we who's got email id of the sort)... it just that those guys are very formal and critical of email originators of the sort.. if you catch my drift.

dont send the emails with a focus of just having them sending you acceptance and the sort, rather draft and structure your mail giving them a brief medical history et al and end it in such a way that they respond in either asking you more information or giving you their own perspective to your view.. that way you guys get talking.

other than that they wont send you any contract documents or statements saying they are taking you or not as their patients.

POE just want to affirm that you are in communication with an ob/gyn and a hospital.

best of luck.

Cuteaidomo:
Please oh,,, I am still on the search for jan/February mamas going to Dallas... The Dallas doctors I av contacted don't seem to give correspondence for POE. No emails just fone calls. Can someone help a sister in need pls.....plus am new here ooooooooo.dis Yankee matter don dey tire me already..... huh huh huh

that is not an ish.
had a similar case..
these are what i had her carry with her..

1. color copies of our "stamped" visa pages.
2. copies of our passport data pages.
3. a printed photo of our family vacation previously to the state (optional though)
4. my bank statement.
5. copy of my coy id card.
6. copy of purchased flight tickets.
7. copy of her terminal leave (retirement) letter.
8. copy of wifey's "change of intent letter" and embassy response.
9. let her know your itinerary and arrangements as per hospital and doctors... (estimates is a plus though)

that should do...because her passport was just about 2 weeks old to the date of interview.

she stated that she is travelling with her daughter and her kids whom's going for vacation and childbirth.

gud luck with your endeavours.

mama32015:
Good Morning,
Please I concern. I plan to travel with my mum to the US to have my baby. The challenge that I have is that my mum has never traveled out of Nigeria. I don't know if this will prevent her from getting a visa easily. My husband and I have valid US visas so we will not be applying for visas at this time. Please I will like to hear from anyone who has had a similar challenge and know how it was addressed.
Thanks.

You can google car rental.
There's avis Hertz budget dollar etc. .
They got diff prices for diff classes of cars. .
U can check em out

firsttymum:
so how much is it to rent a car plus the whole serenren? Main while no idea where VIO is in PHC o.... And my travel date is getting close
TravelRe: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedures Part 2 by olokings(m): 1:50pm On Aug 31, 2015
hellos.

car rental is per day.. and there is a compulsory "collision damage insurance" factored in per day on the rented car..

other insurance packages are optional but necessary (even though dey incur more charges) for your own safety if i may say.

PS: please and please, if you are using someone else's car, make sure you are cover by his/her insurance ooh... make u no go buy better igbe'se for person head ooh....lol

firsttymum:
have u looked it up?

And it's both.... Sometimes I'll use someone else's car.. Car rental is per 24 hrs abi?
TravelRe: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedures Part 2 by olokings(m): 2:47pm On Aug 30, 2015
Hi hi. ..
Lemme get something str8...
Do u plan to get a "car rental" or simply use someone else's car there. ..because if it's cat rental is ur choice n risk whether or not to buy insurance. ...then if u re using someone else's car, their insurance plan had got to cover u (being 3rd party) or else my sister, sorry it's the car because there's no abeg ejorh o' with those guys when there's an emergency/incident. .

I ll look up car hiring if it's something different from d regular car rental we know.

firsttymum:
better safe than sorry... Will get do stuff from VIO I don't want to get there and dey start requesting for it. Lol
Thanks for the advice... Will ensure it has insurance, but wait will I just ask d owner of d car for d insurance?
