She's still on bed. ..
Google can handle this. ..
I dunno how wudda told u anyways.
Check that u selected "booking from our pos country correctly"

julzz:
Congrats nerf.

Pls how do you go about booking on delta airline, whenever I try to on their webpage I always get.

"Only flights originating from these countries can currently be booked at delta.com. Please select another departure city or contact us through one of our worldwide reservations numbers "

Any tip on how to get cheap air ticket for oct-dec will be appreciated, thanks.

Also has anyone had issues flying with qatar airways at 34weeks? Thanks.

Yeah you are very correct. .

For those in Lagos though. .
because from other parts of the country you gotta wait for it to be taken to and back from lagos. ..

Just googled it.
Apparently the app is available for iPhone.

firsttymum:
I use an iPhone so I already have d map that came with it. However I downloaded google maps which I use to drive sometimes...( I'm new in this state.... )

So 3 maps .... Lol

I'm downloading the "here maps" it's a Nokia app right?

Hi hi. ...yes it is.
I don't know if the HERE MAPS App is available for iPhone. .search for it. ..I'm using it on android phone.
However if u don't find it.
Download MAPS.ME app....it's an offline map. ..same process applies. ..

Don't put any hope on ur google nor iPhone default map ooh.
Those things are junk n useless once u are disconnected from data. They ll get u lost in the middle of traffic labyrinth. ..
Plus collecting addresses offline is another ball game entirely.

Lol. ..
If u are driving there I'd say after u got ur license in the checks.
Kindly go and download "HERE MAPS" on your device.
Make sure your location setting is "on".
Now while you are in naija. .goto "download maps" on the app them download naija map. ..also download the state(s) u are gonna be visiting (make sure to download routes n navigation own ooh) so that your route and voice navigation is available even without ur phone having data. ..just have d phone roaming or connected to dia network. ..don't worry ur credits is safe.

Try using the app to navigate your way around your area here in naija to get acquainted with it.

While using it. .u can save locations by simply getting the address n zip code. .pasting it in the search bar of the map app and saving it as collection. ..
Then when u wanna roll. .simply select the collected point and cruise.

The app is very useful in that it helps u guide even against beating the speed limits and when ur phone is online. ..give u real time traffic info so that you can re-route and save precious time. ...

I trust u love ur goggle so this will be easier for ya. ...
Driving is more economical mostly when you wan do plenty yahoo waka n highly convenient. ..

Hi hi.
If you wish to drive over there. .I'd say firsst of make sure u got the ORIGINAL (BIOMETRICS CAPTURED) NAIJA DRIVER'S LICENSE.
then get a VIO officer to process int'l drivers license for u (it takes about 7 working days - just ur passport photo n details).

Have the two, however u ll notice that they mostly refer to ur national drivers license so it's better u have them both because the int'l license doesn't really have much of ur info printed on it.

firsttymum:
Those who drove or intend to drive with naija license pls what's the process?

And if u r staying more than a month how did u go about the permit given to u?

Aside driving on d exit lane, any special rules

It all depends on the POE and your preparation...
all in all, just be armed and ready.

missusadey:
Thanks olokings for the swift response...I've actually been following this thread since March and I've read both part 1 n 2. Intending to use northside as my bro stays close to the hospital. I've also sent change of intent letter and got d regular response. I was just worried as the most insignificant thing can lead to bouncing at the POE.
TravelRe: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedures Part 2 by olokings(m): 10:07am On Aug 24, 2015
greetings.

i dont think that should be an issue..
you may/may not have known and/r have his contact at the time.
you already have a visa and even used it once..
all you need do now is send a letter of intent to the embassy, establish communication with an hospital of your choice, connect with your relative if he is the one hosting you for the period (be reminded that you might have to be limited to hospitals around his vicinity wch may not sync well with your budget).
gud luck with your endeavours and you may wish to read the thread for further information which will come in handy with your research.

best regards.

missusadey:
Hello people. A quick one pls...i got my visa before i got pregnant and found out about this thread and I've used it once. The issue is that when i was filling my form and asked if i have a relative in the us,i said no though my bro is there but i didn't have his address at the time and i was in a hurry to submit so i could get an appointment ontime. I'm planning to stay with him for the birth of my baby and i noticed on d thread that they ask pple if they have relatives there. Should i stick to my story and ppbly book an extensive stay for a week or admit i intend to stay with my bro.

Greetings. ..
I got it right the first time.
Be is for business. Wch I summize is not what re going for.

uptown17:
good day house
happy sunday to all.
please o, for this birthing journey. i booked appointment for B2 visa- tourism/medical ( hadnt submitted ds160 form then). someone later told me it should be B1/B2. i changed it to B1/B2 on ds160 before submitting. i called the embassy and explained. they said i should scan my documents to them to update the appointment confirmation & resend me a new one. when i did so, i got a response that i shld cancel & rebook appointment. this contradicts what the person on phone told me.
my question is; is this disparity a deal breaker on appointment day or not. has anyone had this kinda issue
please assist

thank you

Hi y'all,
I'm new here. I have read some of the posts in part 1 and part 2 of this thread. I intend to have my baby in the US. I already have a 2yr US visa which is less than one year old. Pls do I need to notify the embassy That I am going to have a baby there, or should I just get a hospital and every thing else and just show up at the airport on my travel day? Thanks.

this is clear cut simple....
at the time she fill the DS160 application form she wasnt married. now its up to her to notify the VO (if that will serve as her tie back home here and increase her smooth passage of POE given otherwise she will be percieved as a single/unmarried mother trying to give birth in the US) of her current change of marital status.
either way... she should just stick to a story and dot her I's and T's..

customised87:
She can explain to the VO that she was single as at the time of the filling the application form but she's now married and would like to have her baby in the US.

hello newest of the newbies..
are you a preggy?!...
state your purpose here....cos u strike me as a scavenger fishing for information to sell off afterwards..
why don u just jejely activate "ghostmode" and quietly read and jot what you wish and save us the time and energy of being aware of your presense?!

You don't need to fill out another DS160 form.
You just state "vacation and childbirth" when asked purpose of travel during the interview. ...

Hey ppl, i can finally post my experience. I travelled at 32 weeks to Florida and was tempted to move my flight to 34 weeks but hubby didnt agree.,anyway i had my gift from God on the 1st of August. For those of u ppl planning to travel late, I would strongly advise not to risk it at all cus it isnt worth d risk at all. My water broke at 35weeks 1day and dats when I had my baby. I can only thank God cus i was scared of having a premature baby who would need d assistance of NICU but that was not necessary. I will ans any question u guys have for me cus my story is a long one..(my BP was also very high at 33weeks and d medical care was just perfect)...
