This is very on point and the fact that he is even being considered for a national honour (which i hope is false) is evidence that we have not gotten our priorities right. So what happens when another guy graduates with 5.0 (abi is it 7.0) from UI next year? He also gets an award? For what exactly? Getting 5.0 at the undergraduate level means you have been able to very successfully regurgitate what was taught to you. He has almost definitely not added to the body of knowledge in any way, shape or form. People get 4.0 (out of 4) on a yearly basis in several schools in the US and nobody thinks of giving them useless national honors. Schools and/or companies compete to hire them or enroll them in their post-graduate programs.

Be careful what you wish for, you just might get it. The military is just as corrupt. Have you forgotten the days of Babangida, Abacha etc? Eye drops are as diverse as food. Different eye drops have different active and passive ingredients. It's just like saying I'm allergic to Panadol so I will be allergic to chloroquine. The fact that you are allergic to one eye drop doesn't make you allergic to all eye drops.
