I registered on the portal but.....imagine having to download about 2000 polling units' results on your phone just to view results. Each PDF file is over 2MB.

They should make it view only, not automatic downloading when you click on each result.

I have seen lots of (over 50) polling unit results from a trusted newspaper.
PDP is clearing the entire Esan land in Edo Central. PDP is also doing much better than APC in Edo South while APC is only winning in Edo North.

If it's not too early to judge, Obaseki will win this election.

I'm political active but decided to stay neutral in this election due to the political prostitution and godfatherism issues that have bedeviled Edo 2020.

But after watching this debate, I will definitely go for POI. The guy knows more about the state than an incumbent governor.

I remember seeing a similar topic here sometime ago... so I had this conversation with four Nigerian ladies I hanged out with last month who have been in Canada for about ten years. I met them through a friend, another Nigerian lady who was my classmate in Nigeria. I'm less than a year old in Canada.

The problem is Nigerian ladies want to have it all even in a country where they have limited options.

They want a guy who has to be Nigerian (who can put up with their entitlement mentality), a guy from their tribe alone, a guy with a great job (not a struggling guy), etc.
They just want it all even when toasters are not easily present unlike in Nigeria, until they cross 30 and start feeling a bit more desperate.

Plus their shakara ehn, no be here. They feel they have over achieved by being abroad, the usual vainness that comes with being Nigerian.

It's our mindset. Both Nigerians in Nigeria and those abroad have succeeded in creating an impression that people abroad are better than those in Nigeria.
Thus, living abroad is now something to brag about or raise shoulders for.

When I was in Nigeria, I was working and earning well, but as a somewhat low key guy, people were not asking me for money as they couldn't tell I had a lot of it.
But once I moved to Europe for my masters, see begging for money eh! From ordinary student oh! I had to leave Facebook and Instagram for them.

As a real nigga, I still keep in touch with my very good friends and update them with what I'm up to in life here.
And when I'm in Naija, I call them to hang out and enjoy their company.

Ps: If you want to have a good relationship with your friends abroad, show interest in their wellbeing and discuss possible opportunities with them, instead of appearing like a money beggar to them.

Apart from stable electricity, Nigeria is far more developed than Ghana. Your economy is crap, little salaries but things are so expensive.
One of the Ghanaian Uber drivers that drove me kept complaining about how messed up life in Ghana is. He kept referring to Accra as "I cry".

Nigerians are in Ghana for just two reasons: to do business where there is far less competition...and to attend universities where there is far less competition for admission too.

One thing is clear, that such a law is very selfish. Another clear fact is that this law is only enforced against Nigerians, for obvious reasons that only Nigerians outdo, outsmart and out-compete Ghanaian traders in their own country. I have never heard of traders of any other nationality being harassed in Ghana.

Though Nigeria is a country that is very open to all and sundry, I expect the Nigerian government to create a similar law making any form of trading in Nigeria nearly impossible for Ghanaians only.

I've been to Ghana abeg and it is certainly not better than Nigeria. Stable electricity alone cannot make Ghana better than Nigeria.
Nigeria is more developed than Ghana, with Accra looking just slightly better than Port Harcourt.

Even with the terrible economy in Nigeria, we still live a better economic life than Ghana where their average salaries can't do much.

Perhaps you can say Ghanaians are better behaved and less corrupt than Nigerians.

The law says that if you are travelling outside the country with over $10,000 cash, you must declare it... so questions can be asked about its source. If you don't, it's a punishable offence

My reasons for leaving are personal. All I can say is that Canada is a much better place for me.

Norway is a very beautiful country, not as cold as Canada during the winter, but a very boring place to live in because Norwegians are naturally boring people. Language barrier is a problem as well.

No rules per se, just do what is right irrespective of who's watching so we don't give the country a bad name.

When you get to Norway, you'll meet Nigerians and get to adapt quickly.
Talk with Nigerians a lot because that'll be your easiest route to finding student jobs and getting to know your options during and after school.

With Covid 19, you can ask the school what's currently obtainable and do your own research about the current visa requirements.

As far as I know, you cannot apply for a study visa to go for a Norwegian language preparatory program. Only people currently resident in Norway and EU citizens can do so.
